Motowheels has fallen off in the last year. The customer service is slow, unhelpful and Ducati specialist are apparently all gone because no one seems to know anything. What a shame.Nothing is in stock, the prices are too high in comparison and when you do get to talk to someone they have no idea what they are talking about.

Ordered bar ends for my Ducati 959 and they stated that they would be shipped and to me in 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks I contacted them in interest to see when the ETA would be and they stated at least another 30 days. Would not recommend customer service is terrible and there ETAS for products are completely wrong.

I placed an order for wheels on May 29, 2020. Their website stated 6-8 weeks for delivery. It’s been 12 weeks now. I emailed at 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks. Then I was told beginning of August I would have them in my hands. I emailed them to cancel my order when it was exactly 12 weeks and to get a full refund. They told me I couldn’t get a refund. I emailed them again last week and I was told “your wheels were held up in customs and will be to us Friday or Monday.” It’s Monday and I still haven’t gotten any word on them. Buy from Superbike Unlimited for wheels!

I have been looking for some parts for my Ducati V4 and I came across Motowheels. My inquiries started via phone calls and Stephano not only answered all of my questions but gave me great suggestions/recommendations as well. I was so impressed with his exemplary customer service that I made it a point to meet him in person and thank him. Stephano is the reason I purchased my first order over the phone and my two others in person. He is not only knowledgeable but a great person as well.  Thank you again Stephano, I look forward to future business with you and your great company.

I ordered Ducabike rearsets with agreed shipping time of 2-3 weeks. It’s been a month and still haven’t gotten any shipping info. One of the guys sent me their whole shipping info of parts shipping from manufacturers telling me my rearsets are on the way. Then when I asked for confirmation, he said they just arrived an hour ago. I emailed same day asking when is the ETA of shipping from Motowheels since they’re arrived from manufacturer. That was on a Thursday. Emailed Friday asking same, as well as Monday. The same Monday, I was fed up because I emailed within store hours and literally in the same state. No response. I called for the order to be cancelled and the same guy who’s been emailing me saying he’ll send a confirmation email. Still waiting on that confirmation email too. HORRIBLE. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND MONEY. Only reason why there’s two stars is because Stephano replied to me a couple of times so I guess their customer service is somewhat functional.

Take it from me, I am your average joe who loves motorcycles and loves working on them (Mine). This company is one of the best I have dealt with. I could say so much about the several orders I have made and received. Ill be honest and keep it short. They have fulfilled all the orders and nothing has ever been missing. Customers need to understand that these motorcycle superstores stock quality products and products that may sometimes not be in stock due to their performance and rating from everyday users. DO NOT order once and feel like you had a bad experience. I have had no bad experiences and if I do, I will not think twice before allowing them a second chance. FYI Im into Italian Superbikes and parts are not cheap or easy to find. Take it for what it is, but I have nothing bad to say about MOTOWHEELS!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS!

I called them and they really came through for me on a part I really needed. The woman who answered the phone made sure to go and locate the part before telling me it was actually in stock. Thank you for accommodating me so quickly, even more so in this difficult time we’re all going through!! This will be my go to parts shop for sure!

Its a good group working here...Ive never been in the shop, just a couple of phone calls while doing some research and shopping. NOT the first page on a Google search, but my theory is that a long term customer is earned NOT bought. Not only was the deal really good, I was treated like I was from the neighborhood and hung out in the shop regularly. They sent me a thank you, a bunch of stickers and made it a pleasure to do business. If you want to do business with a shop that will earn your business, give em a call!

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered a carbon fiber piece, they shipped the wrong item, then it was like pulling teeth to get the part back to them. Then after a month or so of waiting they tell me the correct piece is not available even though their website says they have 7 of these in stock! Ill look elsewhere in the future, good luck to you should you give them a try....

I originally had a bit of trouble communicating over email because of messages not getting received. I definitely wont hesitate to use them again.

Disappointing to work with.I have owned a shop worked in the MC business and owned Supercycle for big part of my life until i moved into a different field.Customer service is key component, and i understand mistakes happen but our customer NEVER paid for our mistakes. My situation though its minor, it frustrates me.I am in Mexico and my fork seal on my 2011 Multi 1200s blows..Dealer here didnt have and said 2 weeks to get it in.I searched the net and Motowheels came up and stated have the part. As i had noted there are some discrepancies due to the various front ends ducati used. In light of this I need to ensure as shipping to mexico and getting part to a dealer in Gdl all is a major hassle. So i called and was told no problem.... we stock that seal and can get it out asap. Please order online. So I started the process and again was in contact with Stephano and he confirmed the seal i need for my particular application was in stock and will ship asap.I am ecstatic as seals cost less than 25 bucks. I ordered and paid ..... Plus the 50+ dollars in shipping later, we receive some seals that are far wrong. UGGH.....Shop measured the original and the seals i received. Not even close. So what do i do.....I had some minor things to deal with in California so I figured heck i fly up and bring them and exchange. Stephano said would order in the correct ones. Well he was unable to get the correct seals. Seems ducati only. I am now in Sacramento and am told they are closed on Saturdays. : (Huh motoryccle shop closed on saturday?? UGGHI end up driving from Sac to Concord as i found a dealer Ace in Concord that had them... Great parts guy, knows his stuff...I am naturally unable to return the seals as the final word was we are closed. Hmm ok...I return to mexico on Monday and ask about my refund, they put me in touch with a guy named Matt. Not the most customer service oriented person i have communicated with. He wants me to ship back the seals, and once he receives will determine if they are correct or incorrect. Geez talk to Stephano, he knows he sent the wrong part...As i have now spent a TON of time and MONEY on this i decided its silly for THEM to spend another 30-40 dollars to ship back.Dealer cost on seals depending on their discount level with Parts unlimited puts cost around the 13 dollar mark. I sent pics of part number, package, seals correct and incorrect ones as well as the dimensions, showing the vernier calipers etc etc.....Simply in an attempt to save time and money for both parties at this point.Matt send email.. His words i conced.. Not much to concede when its crystal clear. But he refunds me 23 bucks or whatever for the seals only. Really Not the shipping costs. If was my mistake i would eat the costs!! But when its blatant and obvious and they and I have the email communications to show it where stephano and i were discussing. I would expect full refund. So going forward if that is how they roll.. Ok I will clearly express this.Sad If 50 bucks will break, i will eat their mistake. All the best.JonasAs of Yesterday the company refunded me 27.00 out of the 50 odd dollars the shipping cost me. Thank you, sadly it took a fight to get my refund.

Tim Leng, You drove over to buy three parts for your bike and which you did so. You had absolutely no intentions whatsoever to purchase the wheels at our location, since you didnt want to pay the CA sales tax and would want to purchase them using an Oregonian address to get them tax-free. By the way, your dealer from Oregon called a day after your visit at our store about the wheels and confirmed that they were for you! So it is very obvious how you were going about it. Beside, you did not even like the Gold wheels that you were told to be in stock, where the rear wheel in the set was missing! I showed you the front wheel of the set and you were adamant about getting them in Black and kept calling the Gold one too bright, period! You were informed clearly before making the trip up about the availability of the Black set and the fact that it had to be ordered from Italy. As a gesture, I showed you a set of Marchesini forged aluminum wheels that had arrived from Italy recently and that is what you called an old leftover set! Any knowledgeable owner of a Panigale 1199/1299 knows that these are the only aluminum wheels made by the brand for those models. The lack of knowledge on your behalf is perhaps the sole reason for your illogical comment. All I wanted to do was to share that with you, so you could see and get a feel of different wheels. I had even mentioned that we would give you a good deal on those if you were interested.. Im not really sure if this a particular approach that you use to bring to the table in order to receive discounts by attacking your seller or not! In any case, you will need to be true to yourself if not to the public that you are sharing your comments with! If assisting the customer after the store closing hours is considered to be a lack of professionalism, then so be it! You have been using this tactic so often to get your way by harassing people.

If there wan an option for zero stars, thats what I would give. I never leave reviews yet, Im compelled to warn consumers about the disgraceful customer service by Motowheels, specifically Stefano. I just got off the phone (I was actually hung up on) after attempting to explain a premature clutch basket/plate failure. In September 2016, I purchased an EVR kit for my 06 Ducati Monster S4R at the price of $365. I have put on less than 1500 miles since then (9000 total miles now), and was notified today by my mechanic that the set has already failed. I tried to paraphrase the scenario for Stefano yet, I was cut of many times during the explanation whist trying to finally get my point across, which was that I wanted Motowheels help in communicating to EVR (Italian office only) my request to inquire about any possible manufacturer defect. Stefano explained that poor quality (stock) clutch master and slave cylinders were the only possible cause for the basket/plates to fail so prematurely. He said that all Ducatis have this problem (yet amongst many local Ducati enthusiast, no one has had *an upgraded!* basket/plate kit fail with stock master and slave cylinders. He refuse to contact EVR on my behalf, relentlessly spoke over me, would not let me finish sentences, YELLED at me, and ultimately hung up on me. I tried at one point to offer advice as a fellow business owner that his customer service could use improvement, which only escalated his volume in yelling at me. Motorcycle enthusiasts, shop elsewhere!

Stephano(I think thats how u spell it) I called to confirm if you got the wheels. And you say you DO. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get it. You dont have the wheels and you try to sell something old left over wheels from five years ago something(Bait and switch). You did not even have the courtesy to give any discount or incentive on the additional products I have purchased. No professionalism what so ever.It make me wonder if they stock half of their inventories. For the future customer(s) at this Store. If can deal other sales guy do it. I hope no one is wasting time I did.Reply to Spephano:This is a review forum. Since I cant respond to Spephanos post I will reply here.I have place a call Spephano 2nd times to pull the OZ wheels(in gold) out and confirm they have it. Since they did not have it in black on the initial phone call. Because I am driving 2 1/2 hours to pick them up. And I will be there 10 minutes before closing(5pm). He told me the store close at 5:30.Sphephno reply: No worries just come over...we got them wheels. It only take a minute to pull them. When I got to the store first thing I ask for was the wheels. He went to the back and come back to tell me he does not have those wheels. My reply: You are telling me after two hours driving and you are telling me you dont have the wheels! 3-4 guys in the store heard me also!At this point I am just collecting myself. And stay calm. After 5 pm he try to sell me the exhaust, different wheels, advise me just pick up one wheel and place online order for the other wheel and not knowing when you will have it in stock AGAIN!Those wheels you show me are ugly just like your attitudes in my opinionIf I did not want to purchased these wheels I would not come to your store or call around. All I want from you is an APOLOGY. And let not get into the harassing part.
