Gave this place a try after recieving an ad in the mail made an appointment to come in for an oil change. The staff was quick and attentive and didnt try to upsale me on unnecessary things or work; prices are extremely fair.

Stopped by here since they were down the street from another smog station that refused to honor a competitor coupon (despite advertising that they do honor them).Kindly asked if theyd be willing to honor the coupon. The lady at the desk gladly did. I also had a few questions before the test, and the tech I spoke to was knowledgeable and gave me clear and concise answers. There was a slight wait, but I didnt have an appointment, so my fault. Just glad they accept walk-ins. Thanks again!

Bought a Groupon for brake change. Groupon instructions said call for appointment. I called. The lady that answered said we didnt need an appointment and that is was a 3 hour job so all we had to do was make it 3 hours before they closed. I called on a day I wanted to go and asked it I made it at 2pm exactly, if they could still see me. The man that answered said it was a half a day job (4hrs) so they could not. So I waited and came a different day. I got here at 12:20pm. They rejected me and told me I had to be here before 12pm. I come from Apple Valley and I was turned away despite the fact that the two different people that I spoke with over the phone gave me inaccurate information (and I mentioned that to the front desk attendant when I got here). Neither one of the first two people I called said that I had to be here before 12pm to be seen. And if they are honestly that busy, they should make appointments for this type of job. I am here today. I got here at 9:30am. It is now 1:30pm (4 hours). I asked for an update at 2 hours in and they had not looked at my car yet. I asked for an update at 1:20pm and they were barely going to inspect my car. Then I asked how long it would take for me to get my car back once they took it in for inspection. The man said 1 hour for front brakes and 1.5 - 2 hours for all brakes. So I will be here for literally over half a work day! This is a waste of time. I know of no other place that makes me wait over half a work day to get my brakes changed. Do not buy Groupon for this place. Do not come here is general. I am angry. I am the type that writes good and honest reviews about good businesses. I am not the type to take my anger out here, but sorry, I want to save others time and frustration. Do not come here. There are plenty of other mechanic places down the same street

I went to KB Automotive Repair for the first time for an oil change. I liked the customer service reason why I accepted all the add ons they offered (filter, windshield wipers). I left content. Within a week I noticed I had a plastic piece under my car but I dismissed it. Then on my way from Vegas I realized the plastic under my car was falling off. My car was making some crazy noises reason why I pulled over and saw that the shield was falling apart. I was not only far from home but away from everything. By the time I got to Victorville the entire bumper lower shield cover was barely hanging on and the metal piece between it was torn up releasing sparks. I had a body shop go under the car to take it off and they said that the shield was not placed correctly. They didnt nail/screw anything back in place. They said it was who ever was under the car last and removed it, which was for an oil change. I am very angry. They not only didnt they care to not place back that correctly but now has me wondering how much they actually put into their work. I would not recommend this place and I hope no one else wastes there time and money here.

Needed a smog check for registration renewal. Made an appointment, and was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. They also require face masks and follow the social distancing guidelines, which is a plus, when it is essential for you to be out and about.

In response 12/8:Check engine light went away shortly after leaving your shop with just the oil maintenance and the change of gas cap. I was still second guessing it so I went elsewhere for a second option on the throttle body and it came back just fine.

Please reference the picture shared in this review.When an Oil Change is done you DO NOT use force when replacing the Oil Plug and Washer; it is supposed to be torqued hand tight and no tighter.Prior to receiving an Oil Change at KB AUTO REPAIR The Oil Plug and Washer were brand new on my vehicle (the washer was not warped. ) and my Oil Pan in optimal condition (not scratched in the area of the warped washer).KB AUTO REPAIR, thank you for your response on September 10th to the review I submitted.As for it taking me two months for me to investigate if the oil change was done correctly is because I had not reached the recommended mileage for an oil change. The staff is very friendly! The lady working in the front is super sweet. They have a waiting room in front as well as space outside. Definitely going back for future maintenance.

My family and friends think i am crazy for coming here. And no there is nothing wrong with this place. They think I am crazy because it takes me two hours to get here. After dropping off my car, it takes me an hour, just walking, to get home. And when my car is ready it takes me an hour to walk back and pick up my car. I have done this walk a half dozen times now even though there are, at least five, auto repair shops minutes from where I live. Ive done this walk when it rained and on some of the hottest days. And it really doesnt bother me because, first of all, I am burning calories when walking ( I like to think of my walks as urban hikes) and second, I feel comfortable using this repair shop and I am satisfied with their work. I never feel like I am being cheated. I never feel pressure to do repairs that are not needed. And, even though they are busy, it feels like my car gets done pretty fast. So if you are in need of some auto repairs or maintenance, check this place out. And always remember your ABCs - always burn calories.

I love how the customer service was efficient and friendly. They stayed open for me when I was running late and they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They were honest and did good work. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

If you are unsure about a new shop to pick I recomend this one. Me and my family have been coming here for years, it is a good honest shop that will give you a fair price. They have always been upfront with their estimates and will let you know right away when they find anything. The people are nice and the quality of the work is good. Ive been to several bad repair places and once I found KB I couldnt believe the difference.

Ive been coming here for years but this last experience is what made me leave this review. I usually just come for oil changes through Groupon but recently went in for 100k scheduled maintenance, oil change, brakes, and some parts replaced. They broke down the service items on the invoice line by line in layman terms, didnt try and push a single service on me, and helped me make an informed decision. They worked with me on the price and made sure we made a deal that I wouldnt have buyers remorse about.They followed up with me on the phone the second day of the work to give me a progress report and an estimated competition time. Efficient, personalized, and professional service is what you will get at KB auto. I honestly dont know what more you can expect from a mechanic, or any business owner, period.

Hi my name is nef and Im only writing this post because I had the bad to opportunity to work for this place and I wouldnt like for this to happen to another technician . I had met mr. Andy the owner for a job opportunity we agreed an amount for the day of work just to try me out and see if I was a fit very understandable. I only worked for the day and got paid for it. The only thing was that he offered me to work the whole week and I agreed but needed to let my prior employer know that I was quitting. I had advised Andy that if he was sure that he wanted me as a full time employee and he agreed . Short story I quit my job called Andy the following day to start my morning early and he had the disrespect to tell me never mind. He is a fraud and a not trustworthy person. He lied to me and let me loose on other work opportunities . Hopefully nothing like this happens again . Thanks for reading.

I needed a smog and oil change, new to the area I couldve picked a better place. I highly recommend. Genuine nice people and fair prices.

I received a ceramic brake replacement last January here. Not long after I left I heard a screeching noise in my front brake, which I assumed to be a rock. The sound later dissipated, however as of this month, I have discovered ALL 4 of my brakes are completely done and are needing replacement AGAIN. I have driven less than 15,000 miles since last year. Not sure if I was scammed or if it was a mess up, but regardless, will not be returning here. If I could give it a 0, I would.

The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, and the oil change was done quickly. I would recommend making an appointment or at least calling before going to location to minimize wait time.

I came to get my car smog inspection. The gentleman in the office was very nice, honest and charged me the same price as another competitor was charging me. His office is comfortable and he has a TV watch. Coffee, water and even cookies!

I dislike this place so much I can’t even tell you they ripped me off . I went for a oil change and I needed brakes so I agreed and they installed them in September 2018. Well January 2019 my brakes started to get worse the sound was so loud I had no idea what was wrong I was scared to drive it due to the noise. I took it to a mechanic they told me I needed brakes I explained to him how I changed them not to long ago I showed him my receipt. And what I payed for was not even replaced he showed me how damage it was . Please don’t come here and get ripped off. Be carful I paid nearly 300 dollars . And I have to pay all over again they are very dishonest people .

I bought a groupon to get a aliment on my truck. They completed it, even test drove it and then when I drove off the front tire was rubbing the wheel well. I drove it right back and they told me the tech that worked on it went home. (why didnt the owner fix the issue or one of the other guys)? I brought it back two days later because I work and the tech was not there, called in sick, then the owner said it was because my tires were an inch bigger then what they should be, yet I never had the tire rub before? He said take it back to where I bought the tires, I did and he said according to standard you can go 1inch bigger with no problem. He said take it back to KB Auto Repair and make him do the job right. I took it there the 3rd time and he said his machine was broken. I had no recourse because talking to the owner. He did refund my groupon amount. If it was a big box auto place I would of had a recourse because they take complaints serious and they make sure all the equipment are state of the art and functioning. I went to Pep Boys and got the job done. I guess you get what you pay for but how hard is a wheel alignment?

Excellent place to go to for smog tests! Everyone was so friendly, they have amazing coupons in the val pak and classifieds magazine (the little pennysaver type magazine you get in the mail). I was unsure if my car would pass smog because of an extensive amount of repairs very recently, but the mechanic checked first to make sure the car had been driven long enough after the battery was reattached. I would have just postponed the smog test, but thankfully it came back so clear, and even more thankfully it passed smog. Definitely come here for your smog, and check for coupons.

Im only giving them 1 star because if the fact that I cant write this review without giving them a rating! I got a thing from Groupon for this place. It says to call and make an appointment. When I called to make one for the following Monday the guy just kept telling me I dont know yet. You have to call in Monday morning to see if we have any openings for that day. How the hell am I supposed to make one when the guy cant even check his damn book to see if I can go in to go and change my oil?!

I bought a Groupon for an oil change for KB Complete Auto. I made an appointment and was treated very well by the lady behind the counter. If you buy a Groupon, ensure that you read the fine print to avoid any confusion or misconceptions. They check everything to make sure your car is in great running condition and let you know if you have any issues. They also had my back brakes replaced at a very reasonable price. He showed me my brakes and Im glad I got them replaced! I will be back.

Scammers! This place tried to scam me. Do not Smog here!They will have you retest multiple times and knowingly withhold issues to prevent you from passing your retest so they can charge you again to retest.I went in for a routine smog check. I 100% knew without question it was going to pass because my truck passed a smog check just 2 months ago.They told me they were going to fail it because it had a crack in the vacuum hose. The hose did have a small crack on the end of the hose but nothing to prevent a failure due to leak. The older Asian technician tried to convince me that the test would fail because of a vacuum leak. I reminded him that it will not fail. He offered to replace it there for a fee. I asked how much and he said $20 per hose. The truck needed three 9 inch hoses replaced because of tiny cracks. That would have been $60!!! I said no and he ran the test anyway. Sure enough, the functional test portion of the test passed but the test was ultimately decided as a fail due to visual inspection. I went to Napa Auto to replace the hoses which only cost me $4.I retested and the same technician told me he was going to fail me again but this time because the Gas Cap gasket was not in perfect condition. I blew my cool and raised my voice in anger. He didnt tell me this the 1st time. The owner had to tell the technician to pass the visual inspection because of the hose replacement and that he didnt tell me of the 2nd issue.Who knows what other issues they would have found?!Just so you dont think that I am making this up, I have the confrontation on video and am reporting it to State officials to get their certification revoked.You have been warned!

They have really nice staff and offer really low prices in comparison to the other shops around town in just about all those services. Even when they mess up on something, they hold themselves accountable and take responsibility for any necessary repairs as a result of their errors. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for good technicians while saving money. Hell, even thier alignments are cheaper than taking it to Pepboys (look on Groupon) and thier SMOG checks start at $35 for just about any car that isnt an SUV or Minivan.

What can I say, I love this place. After searching multiple shops for a brake change for my BMW, I found out that the people here here at KB Auto are friendly, have clean shop, a nice waiting room, are quick, honest, affordable and always a reliable service. Andy, the owner, in seconds of inspecting my car has told me what 5 other shops didnt... I didnt need new brakes! Go figure it was just a broken sensor. Multiple times Ive come here and I get a straight and professional answer. And Jumana who is in the office is the sweetest person there is. She is a delight to talk to. I brought my parents car in and she talks to them and is just a joy in conversation. After all my poor and mixed experiences in other shops I truly dont see another reason to go to another shop. I may live 30-40 min away but its always worth it. Even if the repair is not news you want to hear, honesty and an incredibly fair price is what you will get. Bring your business here!!!

This is the 2nd time this has happened. It must be the mechanics they are hiring. I brought my car in for an oil change and once i left and started driving I noticed there was a scraping sound while I was driving so I pulled over only to find they used zip ties instead of the screws to put my oil cover back on. Now, thats a big problem but the way these owners handle their business is very unprofessional. Instead of telling me before working on my car that i was missing screws (which i wasnt) they tell me after i pay & leave that i must be driving crazy. Theres no winning with these people. They will blame you for their mess ups instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem. DONT GO HERE!! PAY THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS & HAVE PROFESSIONALS WORK ON YOUR CAR.

Don’t go there, its a fraud and a ripoff. I will put negative star if I could. I went there in April 9, 2018 for front and back brake pad replaced. I brought the Groupon for $180 which has $360 value. When I got there, lady in front desk named Jasmine told me that they have to mark up another $170 which is the original total price to pay. So I will end up paying $350. What’s the point to go there if I just save $10 from $360 to $350. They will even say if you don’t pay the extra, you will end up coming back in 2 weeks to get it fixed again because they will use cheap brake pad that will squeak within 2 weeks. Ridiculous!

These people told me to go in and they would take care of me right away. I got there 5 minutes later and the mechanic said it would take hours to do an oil change. Misleading information

They should be BANNED from Groupon! My gf did a Groupon Alignment (which i didnt even know about). We went the cheapest as its just a 2 wheel alignment on a 2010 ford focus. Made an appointment a week in advance even though i was told any work would be charged. I figured sure! Time comes and i go in and the Machine is down.....OK, How long had it been down???? THREE F***** WEEKS!!! How is it i was able to book an appointment when the machine was down? When i went in the WIFE behind the counter is the one who took my call and NEVER put my name down on the list for an appointment..... I was supposed to start a NEW JOB that day but had to take it off due to the nearest appointment being THAT DAY!!! What appointment did i make and FOR WHAT????

Do not waste your time and money on this establishment. They have horrible customer service. They wouldnt do a simple 20 minute smog check on my truck without telling me to come back on a Saturday morning if they have time and its first come first serve. Rude owner and not worth anyones business.
