I called beforehand, drove an hour and a half to this shop, and the owner shut the door in my face because the outer case was missing from my head unit. His reasoning: “I need to test it and I cannot test it like that” Really? Does it make a difference if there’s a piece of sheet metal covering the top or not? (As an aside, the radio works perfectly). Unbelievable. So rude. A true miracle that this place is still in business...EDIT: To reply to the owner, you wouldve had to take the cover off anyways to add the aux cable. Your reasoning doesnt make sense. Regardless of the issue, you are rude to your customers.

I ordered John’s radio repair service through eBay on my 2013 F150 factory stereo and I’m glad I did. He answered all my questions over the phone and his quick repair and fast return shipping of my stereo were outstanding ! All I can say is I’m in Florida and was I was reluctant to try the EBay repair service and send my stereo in but it was the best decision I could’ve made so if you’re wondering if you should or not, all I can say is my experience was top notch and of course he gave me a one-year warranty with the repair as well ! John REALLY knows his stuff. I had completely ran out of options on how to repair or replace the stock radio on my 93 Mustang. I wanted to keep my car completely original, but it was/is impossible to find a replacement New Old Stock (NOS) radio for less than $400. Found him by chance through a Google search after contacting JBL, Ford, Crutchfield and a number of parts warehouses that purchase old part stock from Ford and other manufacturers. John knew immediately that the problem, popping while adjusting the volume and a sound imbalance from the drivers versus passengers side speakers, was from old capacitors that had broken down. He repaired the radio promptly and even did an in store demo with the radio. My 1993 Mustang interior is still all original. 5 stars to this Craftsman!

GMC Bose 6 CD system was repaired quickly for the price quoted! Power switch and CD player replaced! I would recommend Factory Radio Service for all your OEM repairs! I was very happy with the work!

The owner knows what hes doing, excellent quality of work. Brought in a factory LS400 head unit and he cleanly added an aux jack to the face of the unit. Sound quality is at the same level as a CD so as good as the head unit can provide. It is muxed to the radio input, he somehow put a switch on it so anything plugged into the jack automatically disables the radio so the aux input works, as soon as you pull the plug the radio comes back to life. Cost of the service was well worth it.

John provided outstanding service by repairing some faulty switches and installing an auxiliary source input in my Lexus SC400 Nakamichi Radio. He is clearly very knowledgable and kept me well informed of the status of the repairs throughout the process. I am very pleased with the results and outstanding value (very reasonable pricing) of Johns work, and extremely thankful that he works on radios of a vintage vehicle I love to drive!

I sent my Lexus LS460 Levinson amplifier in to be repaired here. It was repaired and then sent back to me. After two days smoke started coming from my trunk and the amplifier almost caught my car on fire. I let John know that the amp had burned up, and he said sent it back and he would repair it again. I sent it back again, at more cost to me, and was told some parts inside did burn up, but he would fix it and send it back. I got it back the following week, it still does not work correctly, and now he claims he sent me a different amp after he told me he fixed it. I can only comment on my experience, but I would not trust him to fix items correctly, and also he was not up front and honest with me about the process and issues.

Seriously the best, had it done in a day and shipped back with very much care in packing. Our Sonic has great sound again and even the latest firmware. Above and beyond, thanks!

Mr. John Nguyen and his wife are very friendly people. Great experience doing business with them and would highly recommend their services. Price was cheaper than any other place and came with warranty. Turn around time was less than 24 hrs for my prius MFD repair.

Friendly, honest, prompt service at a fair price. I wish Id found this place ten years ago. The bluetooth upgrade works better than in any of my newer cars that came with it.
