The flavor of the food Ive had here has all been very good. Only comparing i have is with an order i made for to-go. I ordered a sandwich and it definitely was short on meat compared to the other times Ive ordered the same sandwich before. Ill take a little bit of the blame though. I did order 40 minutes before closing. The restaurant itself is clean and nice. The staff also very nice and helpful.
I can say as for our first time trying cuban food, My wife and i loved it! Their pollo asado is uniquely flavored and their steak dishes are delightful. Be sure to ask for a side of their special garlic sauce for anything you order, that garlic sauce has a nice tangy kick to it. Also we loved the presentation of the food on the plates. However i am removing 1 star due to their restrooms, 1 had a really bad smell to it, and the womens one had its toilet clogged fully, i dont get why yhe restaurant didnt put an out of order sign for that one to prevent customers going in and seeing that. Fix the restroom please.
Food is amazing, but the having the customer order their food at the counter diminishes the dining experience. Restaurants have waiters take your order at the table; fast food makes you stand in line to place an order. Five stars for food, but only 3 stars for atmosphere.
Best Cuban food I have ever had. Everything we had, and mean everything we had was out of this world delicious. I cant remember what the plates were called but they were delicious. Cant wait to go back and try the oxtail.

Coming from the east coast there’s a lot of Hispanic restaurants to order from, especially Puerto Rican food. When I found this place, I was excited to try! They did not disappoint. They serve authentic Cuban food with unique flavors that are on point 👌🏽 They keep me & my husband coming back whenever we’re in town.
This restaurant makes me nostalgic as we use to visit it when it first opened on Archibald Ave then relocated to this 4th street location. When I came here it was like going back in time and reminiscing on good times my husband and I had. I was disappointed of how they changed things. You now have to take a menu at the entrance and go to the cashier and place your order, take a number and the cashier/server will take the food to you. It feels like a fast food joint. I miss the full service and sadly I dont believe Ill be coming back. The food was great and was served promptly but even that is not enough for me to return.
Love this place, drive 20 miles just so my wife can have her Mothafongo bowl. Food is great and so are the 2 girls who are always greeting and attending to everybody.

Normally our family likes this place. But yesterday my son and I went in order the food and the chef himself needs to be trained on how to wear his mask properly. Then another worker came in from outside without a mask and continue to go into the kitchen for approximately five minutes before we cancelled our food and got our money back and he still wasnt wearing a mask. You would think they would train their employees better than that. I dont know if they realize but there is a pandemic maybe they didnt get hit hard enough to realize how serious it is

This is the worst restaurant I have been to in my life . If the food was free I would not eat it again. The plantains were saggy, the restaurant was dirty, the staff didn’t know the wifi password, if if could say something that would make it better I would but sadly there’s nothing that can be done to save this restaurant. The place has a good vibe, nice atmosphere, very clean, even bathrooms are spotless, the service is ok but could be better, it could be a little more friendly. The food is very good (most of the time). It seems as they change cooks and each cook follows recipes their own way, since the taste of the food is not very consistent. I went there for lunch with a friend and we order the Tostones rellenos as appetizer to share and each got the picadillo as main dish, the tostones were delicious but the picadillo was dry and salty like if it had been reheated from the day before. This last time I was there stayed away from the picadillo and had the Lechón con mojo (baked pork in special garlic sauce) and order tostones rellenos as well since they are my favorites, they offer the tostones rellenos with shrimp or shredded beef, known as ropa vieja by the Cubans, both delicious. The Lechón was very, very fatty, I guess some people might like it that way but not me, the taste was great though and it was very juicy and tender, some of you might say that the fat is what gives it such flavor and juiciness but they could of just leave it out of the plate when they serve it, but thats just me. They serve some complementary bread to you but only after youve ordered your food so dont expect to get it while you are still looking at the menu. Also when I was taking some pictures for my review the waitresses seem so concerned by me taking pictures, scared of what I might be doing, this shouldnt been the case, when you are proud of the food you serve and the service you provide you do it with your chin up and pride, maybe deep down they know they do have some improvement to do. The service is slow even when not too busy and they have a sign in the top of a wall with a message to excuse themselves for it, this shouldnt be needed. All in all this place is ok and I would keep coming here occasionally since its the only Cuban place in the area. But I would recommend the management to consider some of this actual costumers reviews who seem some what unsatisfied with the place and make the improvements needed to keep the costumers coming back because if I were them Ill be worried that another Cuban place happened to open up in the area and drag all of their clientele to them. Dont forget that to have a successful business you most always listen to you costumers!
Ok they are awesome. The food is amazing and the owners are so cool. If you havent been and you like Cuban food, You are doing yourself and the people you love a disservice. Go eat and fall in love with this place like we did.

You ever pass a food place and go maybe next time. Well this place made me regret that, but Im now super glad I stopped. Had the Miami Burger and Im all mad I havent had one sooner. So much flavor and staff is very nice. The menu had some pricey stuff but now that I enjoyed the BEST burger I have ever had in my whole life, those prices no longer scare me. Quality is something you pay for and your getting it here. I will be coming back for more!
Really nice lunch deal but it wasnt very hot. It came out very fast. I think its cooked and then they just warm it up before serving.

Good food. Wonderful flavors but extremely disappointed in fried plantains. No flavor not even a dip. Also you never want to tell a customer you cant give them a plate because theres none clean. Very unprofessional. Other than that its just ok for me.

Bad bad bad service. Very rude and unruly people working here. We ordered two plates and received the wrong order when we came back staff argued with us and blamed us for taking the wrong order after we demanded a refund the female clerk yelled out “great. We don’t need your business” the cook came out to advise the correct order was ready and when we told him we didn’t want it he said we had to pay for it but we already had paid for it. Extremely bad service, attitude, and business from this establishment. Maybe they don’t need my business maybe they can make it without customers but I know I will never return to this place again.
Food was not that great, cuban sandwich was a mushy mess. Also asked for a box had to wait almost 10 min for lady to say I forgot lol Definitely not returning here.
Over all was really good, Im only giving it 4 starts because the table I sat on was not very stable and it moved a lot. Also Ive only been there once and I obviously didnt tried all the menu. My food was excellent though and so was my daughters. Once I go there again and try something else I will determine whether or not they keep 4 or get 5 stars
This is the saddest Medianoche ever. The place itself looks nice inside, but its far from being a Cuban cafe, its more of a place where you can get some hispanic food and share a meal. But as far as it being a Cuban Cafe, its pretty disappointing. They werent playing Cuban music, there werent any Cubans working, just all together not what I expected to walk into or walk out with.
We went yesterday in hopes of a delicious pollo asado lunch. Much to our dismay, it is no longer as fantastic as it was. Our croquetas were warm not hot tossed in a basket with a plastic container of white sauce, no idea what it was. Prior they were presented on a beautiful plate with a tasty drizzle of green sauce on a bed of green. You no longer are seated but order at a counter that could be decorated but isnt, next to a container of dirty dishes. The food came out quickly but didnt have the flavors of mojo whatsoever. The chicken was juicy, skin crispy but lacked flavor big time. Black beans were okay. I wish the new management the best. It only takes a few corrections to make a business successful. Customer service, cleanliness, delicious food, quantity, affordable prices and presentation.

This was a bad experience for us. I understand is a pandemic but come on food was cold. You dont serve rice and beans cold. And they tried to charge extra for a drink. The patio no flavor so instead of taking it back we replaced it with a soda and they were rude about it. Where I get upset is the Arroz Frito was cold and a glob of white dressing on top sad when I said is unacceptable return it they refuse. Hello, the rice is 30.00 you are crazy. Bad experience
My husband and I just ate here for the first time in almost a year. The food was always good. But, Let me just say I was blown away tonight. The food was outstanding. The service was A1++and Bre Helped us decide on a few dishes. Every plate was spot on.

The service here is horrible! It was my first time visiting and my husband and I noticed their employee Bree was extremely rude and so unprofessional. They dont like wearing masks either. The food is not true to what actual cuban food tastes like. If you want something 10x better, take a little drive to a restaurant called Tropicana. They definitely stay true to cuban cuisine. Ill never go back unless they fix their food and employees!

I love the food, but services is not good. This is second time i come we paid for the sodas and soda machine doesnt work. First time i pass, but second again and not refund. Dont sale the drinks if you dont have the sodas. No bread was serve anymore. I dont know what happen to this restaurant. Food is delicious and price. I dont care paid for a delicious Cuban plate, but please services your client with a good services. Employees no mask 🤔 . Dissapointed.
Fun place, good food, friendly service. If I ever get to Cuba I hope the food is this good. I had pork, black beans& rice,and plantains with a nice strong Cuba Libre with flan and Cuban coffee for dessert. Ill be back again soon for something else. The menu is full of food l havent tasted yet, but the descriptions are amind tasters dream. Have you eaten tasted yuca? Its good! Try the seafood, steaks chicken, or tapas . Prices are on the reasonable side dinner $15-25 person. It is a cafe and has a full bar and some Cuban sodas

A must visit! My wife suggested we try this Cuban restaurant after we finished doing some shopping. Glad she suggested it as it was delicious. Ill state it right off the bat. A solid FIVE STARS!!!This is one of those lovely restaurants with a diverse crowd coming here to dine. Older, middle aged, families, you name it, visited while we were there. This was my first visit and I felt right at home. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat. I liked it and would rank it on one of our most liked Cuban food restaurants.The food was utter delicious. I had the seasoned chicken breast with rice, black beans (super yummy) and plantains. They have an extensive variety of dishes and drinks. While waiting on our food, a waitress gave us samples of one of their refreshing beverages.The waitresses are friendly, made several checks to fill our soft drinks and overall very pleasant. Since Im a huge fan of outstanding customer service, I have to give this place props on a job well done. The food was filling and delicious. Speaking of filling, we were as so stuffed, we couldnt even enjoy dessert :(. I cant say enough about the flavors. If Cuban food, or a hearty meal with caribbean flare is your thing, then definitely visit Flamingo Palm. Its located at the northeast corner of Milliken St and 4th St in Rancho Cucamonga.We live about half an hour away but were already planning our next visit to try some of the other dishes. This is one restaurant that I can say with almost 100 degree of certainty, you will not be disappointed.

Came here on 03/14/19 and enjoyed me some cuban food. The food was savory and delicious overall, I ordered the papas rellenas, the caribbbean chicken sandwich, the sopa de pollo, and the platanos maduros. Everything was great, I thoroughly enjoyed it all. However the rice and black beans combo that came with the caribbean chicken sandwich was dry, and some of the pieces of the rice were uncooked, and chewy. Not sure if it was because it was the last bit of it, but I ended up having to dip the rice and beans combo in the soup, in order to make the rice and beans combo a little more softer and easier to enjoy. This is the reason for the 4 star review. Other than that, the food was excellent, the sandwich was good, but I think the best was the sopa de pollo. And the soup was a large size for it being a cup only, very generous of them on the serving size of the soup itself.My waitress did an excellent job of taking care of me, she even offered me some cinnamon, sugar, and crema to go with the platanos maduros, which topped it all off and was yummy! Thank you for that.The atmosphere was nice, they were busy when I arrived, it was around 7:45pm, but it quickly died down after a few minutes of arriving there. They were playing hip hop music, the dirty versions of all the songs, hahaha I thought that was funny, and they were bumping it loud too, lol! Maybe they could tone that all down a bit, and play something a little more appropriate and smooth, like some Latin jazz for example.All in all a good experience, I would come back to enjoy some cuban food. They have brunch, maybe Ill come back to try that out!

Have been to this restaurant I dont know how many times and have LOVED it. It definitely is not the same and I am so disappointed. I didnt think it was possible to dial in Cuban food. The food was bland and mediocre at best. Its now seat yourself and pay at the counter. Whatever you changed you need to change it back. The only reason I didnt give 1 star is because of the waitress

Food is amazing. I ordered carne con papas and I loved it! I loved that place so much, I went twice a day, went for lunch and for dinner. Lol The customer service was good. The mojitos are the best here. I come here all the time. Kind of a small restaurant but they should consider perhaps expanding, if they continue to have great food. Keep it up. I refer everyone here and they love it!

Love this place for my Cuban food fix! It’s been around for years. They recently changed their services. You order first then go sit down. Waiters/waitresses do not come to your table to take your order. Still the same delicious food & family-oriented customer service!
