Quality products, help is everywhere. Family hardware stores are few and far. Hoyts has always been a great place. I have been coming here since 1985. They have everything you need except plants and giant lighting section.

This is a good old fashioned hardware store with people who will help you find what you need. And if you need 3 screws/bolts/etc. you dont have to buy a case of 50, they will sell you 3!

Went in to get a wax toilet bowl gasket, picked it up and was back in my car in less than 5 minutes

I was looking for a specific whisk broom. They had it. Reminds me of a small town hardware store.

I went looking for double sided tape but they didnt have what I needed. They did have several artificial Christmas trees though at a good price.

Nice family owned hardware store. Friendly staff, makes you feel at home. Good stock. And while Home Depot is sterile and cheaper, Id rather support a neighborhood store. They actually have more hardware that the BIG stores.

They have a great selection there. They also have people to help that know what they are doing. The prices are a little higher overall but they have many items there that the larger stores dont carry. Its a great place for people to go if they live in older homes.

We have been going to ACE here for 30 plus years...they carry items that the big box stores don’t, especially items that fit some of the older hardware and plumbing for the homes in this area. They are always helpful and I have never experienced anything but the highest quality service from anyone there. I just wish it were bigger so I could shop there exclusively for garden, more home decor related items (love the collection of garden and regular flags, metal signs, etc) and local quirky items.

The service was nice and friendly. Neat and clean. Easy to find. Neighborhood is good. The price is okay. There is a plenty place to park. There is not a lot of Ace Hardware store to go.

I went to Lowes for a simple matter, they told me they couldnt help me.So I went to Hoyts ACE and they were more than kind to spend their time, first solving my problem, and then taking more time explaining preventive measures so it didnt happen again.No more Lowes, wont go to Home Depot, Ive found my new Hardware Store; Hoyts.

Place looks sparce but what is on the shelves are some things you would never find in Home Depot or LOWES. The items there are specialty items, for the guy or gal that knows what they want and what they need and they dont want to walk around an abandoned warehouse trying to find help, to find it. The people there, are very knowledgeable and attentive. Its my version of a hardware google.. They just get it! I recommend this place, if only to be charmed with the memories of how previous generations used their minds and hands to get things done. I really like this place

Even though I could have gone to Home Depot for this, I decided to try supporting our local hardware store instead. I needed acrylic sheets for our fluorescent light panels cut to a certain size. We called ahead and found out they provide this service. I selected which sheeting I wanted and saw that in the box the sheeting was still clean and white. After they cut it and brought it to the cash register, I saw two of the three sheets were chipped on the corner and all three sheets were covered in black particles and scraps of something. I asked them to redo the chipped panels and make sure the sheets were clean. They were able to recut the chipped panels but the sheets were still covered in black stuff. I asked them to clean them and wondered why they were even dirty in the first place. They said they cut the acrylic on the same surface they use to cut screens, so that was the residue. They didnt want to bother cleaning off the dirty surface before cutting something white. I had to micromanage the cleaning of my brand-new, white light panels and they still werent clean to an acceptable level even when the employee said he was done. Something you buy brand-new should not dirty. It took them over half an hour to get the job done and it wasnt even done correctly.

I have been going to Hoyt for over 10 years. Even though the cost might be higher than the giant stores a little further down the road, the service and help you get here are worth it. Have you ever tried asking for help and one of the giant places?The only negative is that they hire young kids that are mostly great, but sometimes theyre goofing around a bit when the boss-man is away.. But even with that, the service is still great.

I would rather go here Then to a large hardware store. The guys There are friendly. Professional. Helpful. THX

Hoyts Ace Hardware is a real hardware store that is staffed very knowledgeable people. Their staff helps customers find materials and tools to complete most home improvement jobs.

They carry some hard to find discontinued parts so I check there first. I also have asked about items I saw on the ACE website and they were kind enough to order them for me. Nice people.

I arrived at this location on Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm the sign on the door stated they closed at 6:00pm to take advantage of the 20% off sale and support small businesses, well, when we arrived the store was closed!! So I called back and spoke the the owner Frank thinking he would go ahead and make good on the sale,,,, NOPE! So much for trying to support local small businesses,, off to the BIG BOX store I go.

The same friendly, knowledgable staff I have come to expect on the East Coast. Really went out of their way to get me what I needed and back on the road.

A small step up from home depot and Lowes. Employees need more training.
