I love it here and come all the time but there still isnt contactless payment beyond Kroger pay which no one uses.

I love the way this grocery store is clean and organized. However, 2 stars were given. The main reason is because Liz, a manager, is the rudest customer service worker I had ever come across. Not only is she extremely slow when the line is 6 carts deep, she is off-putting & passive aggressively rude. I avoid going to her checkout lane after experiencing way too many nasty encounters with her.

Pretty good selection, not too crowded

Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient hours, good product selection and quality products. There is also an asian veggie section.....It keeps getting better and better. I am so happy this well-managed Ralphs is in our neighborhood and highly recommend it to everyone!

I was thinking that most staffs are very friendly and kind here, but I just met a staff member who is very unkind. He threw my receipt on things I bought nonchalantly. Well, maybe he was too busy, I guess. But, they had a wrong price tag with higher amount so I appealed that to the staff. So he checked that price, its wrong and gave me back the different amount without any sorry but coldly. Please check your receipt before you leave the store!!

I’ve been shopping at this Ralphs for the past 35yrs. Was always friendly wonderful place to shop. In the past year it has gone down hill considerably. Today there was 4 everyday things on my list that they didn’t have. I asked a guy in the milk department for Knutson cottage cheese and he basically told me “not my section”. The checker I went to acted like he was in a horse race. Wonder how many mistakes he makes a day? Had to go to Pavilions to get the things Ralphs didn’t have. Guess that will be my new go to place.

If you shop here, expect to be waiting in long long lines, or waiting around to be assisted with no associate present for long periods of time.

Don’t buy frozen foods and pack a lunch...you’ll be here a while waiting in line. Peak hours typically have two lanes open with dozens of people in both lines.

I bet this is the best Ralphs anywhere! Its big but not too big, well-stocked, nicely lit, and with lots of friendly and helpful employees. I am grateful that it has self-checkout lines so that I can avoid waiting in line, but on those rare occasions when I do wait in line, theres never a long wait. Its a great store!

Love my neighborhood market! Nicest people going!Update: 5 months later, anything less than 5 Stars would be wrong. This place is as close to perfect customer service as i have ever seen in a retail store. They are either really desperate to keep their customers happy (What a concept) or they just get it. This is the best Ralphs in Southern Cali. Large, very clean. Friendly employees and check out process is OK / those tabloids magazines help/🤗 They have large bakery and Starbucks inside with several tables to drink your coffee.

Compliments to Carrie who works at the deli counter! Carrie was so kind, helpful and professional. Out of three deli counter people helping me that day, she was the only one I had a positive experience with. I had bought some carrot salad when I first got there but the guy in deli didnt tape the lid, so when I was doing my shopping, it went all over my cart. I went back to the counter to get more, and had another negative experience with a second employee - although he saw that I had taken a number, he began helping another customer who just walked right up. The part that got me was that he gave me a knowing look, like he knew I was right to be annoyed. Guess he could have told the other customer, Sorry sir, I believe shes next, but oh well. Luckily Carrie saw this and said, Dont worry, I got you! And she gave me some replacement carrot salad at no charge (after checking with her manager). THANK YOU, Carrie!!!

Great grocery store. They had everything I needed, and it was well laid out. Great customer service too! Since I was from out-of-state, the guy checking me out was kind enough to remind me that my Kroger loyalty card would work here too.

Seems well maintained. Clean and had the majority of items we were looking for at decent prices as long as you have a club card which is free. You just have to sign up for it. Interesting that the check out lines are not at the entrance/exit. Couldnt find contact solution which was strange.

Great customer service! Great prices on discounted items that you find in every Department of the store! I got a bag of tomatoes and zucchini for $0.99! They Mark the produce down because of bruises Etc and I got four bananas for $0.24 total.

Beautiful Ralphs, inside and out. The back parking lot overlooks the ocean. Got an AWESOME view during a recent lightning storm over the ocean!

The atmosphere at this ralphs is warm, rich, and uniting. Its like coming home for Christmas and discovering all the fine foods and fresh baked goods awaiting a weary traveler. When I am on town, I always make a point to stop by for lunch and a triple hot blonde espresso with a splash of steamed breve from the Starbucks inside the store.

Great place to get all the stuff on your shopping list or to get something quick. Has a fast lane check out as well as a starbucks and bathrooms. :) Also has organic fruits and veggies!!

As a deli its eating area is very very nice, beautiful and airy even when scorching hot outside or cold and foggy, as it often is even when the rest of L.A. is scorching hot. Large selection of food but taste is soso. Coffee has improved. Ive been going to this market since 1972 (Hughes).

Still the best Ralphs Ive ever experienced, for many reasons.As mentioned in my 2013 review, you get panoramic ocean views from the parking lot. There are actually 2 big parking lots, one by each of the 2 entrances, & both lots have amazing views.At this time of year Im at this Ralphs buying helium balloons. The reason: birds building nests above my covered patio. I love birds but nix on those nests & resulting poop all over the outdoor furniture. There are all kinds of bird repellents but what works like a charm is a balloon.The gaudier & more reflective the balloon, the better.I just tie one or two to a chair.Small size balloons at Ralphs are 5 bucks & they last about a week. Then I replace them.So far this nesting season my balloons have included Hello Kitty, Happy Easter & my favorite: SpongeBob SquarePants.I saw birds heading for my house, then they spotted SpongeBob waving in the breeze & literally made a u-turn in mid-flight.Balloons scare the birds away. At night the balloons have even scared me. The birds are currently nesting in the neighbors tile roof so theyre fine, btw. I give them water in my birdbath.Today I splurged on 2 larger balloons for 8 bucks each cuz theyre pretty, covered with a spring flower design.At Ralphs Ive also been buying vinegar. The reason: neighbors cat comes around my yard at night to taunt my indoor cat thru the windows. My cat was going crazy, even hurled himself against a picture window & cracked the glass.Cats dont like the smell of vinegar. So I spray vinegar all around outside every day & no more offending cat invasion. My cat still keeps a vigil every night, waiting for the intruder, until he finally passes out from exhaustion.The scary balloons & the vinegar seem to keep skunks away, too.So yeah, Joans house is quite an interesting place. Visit at your own risk. If you end up running away, blame Ralphs.

A nice grocery store. Has some upgrades like a Starbucks kiosk inside plus chairs and tables for lounging. Still has a ways to go in bakery section - poor selection of breads. Need to improve selection of gourmet items - cant get SM canned tomatoes here or DOP certified goods. Considering the socioeconomics of this area, hope they can make the leap. I really hate BFs. They have practically a monopoly up here and behave every bit like it.
