Cream of crab soup was full of potatoes and corn, more like a chowder. The crab dip was subpar at best. Chicken cheesesteak was meaty by on the dry side. Customer service was good though.

Food is great, nice vibe. Staff is very courteous. I had a nice evening out with a friend here. A little small but music was soothing. Not very kids friendly but you can bring your kids if you have no other choice. They have meals that kids can have but no high chairs for younger children and no kids meals. No mixed drinks only strong liquor such as vodka mixes and wines. We ordered Cheeseburger with fries, maple syrup wings, crab dip, crab minis and a pizza flatbread. Moon over Manhattan and citrus pine drink for drinks. The kids had sodas.

An absolutely enjoyable evening with friends! My dinner selection Blackened Chicken Fettuccine w/ Vodka sauce was divine. Another time I had their Crab cakes, delicious! Hosts and servers are very friendly and attentive. I had the pleasure of dining at grind and wine cafe. Thanks to Lisa for being so pleasant and providing great service. The food and drinks were great. Items are made from scratch so please be patient as it will be worth the wait if any. The chicken and waffles presentation was a masterpiece work of art. Very delicious and the jerk maple chicken wings were the most flavorful and tender chicken wings ever. They are twice baked. All and all I enjoyed myself and the food was exquisite. Thanks again Grind and Wine.

We truly enjoyed the experience as 1st time customers. The restaurant is small, quaint and the music was at an enjoyable level. The food, drinks, and service were great! Ill be returning to try everything on the menu. We had jambalaya, buffalo wings, rice salmon bowl, and carrot cake. Ms.Kay was awesome as bartender and server.

This place is really nice. Its small and intimate. Theres a bar and fireplaces along the wall. I was told that reservation will take place within another year to expand the business. This business is black owned.The food was really good. We ordered lump crab cakes, crab soup, salmkn, the chicken wings, and alfredo.

This is only for customer service. ( I didn’t get to the food) The customer service is horrible. No one answers the phones. They don’t operate by the hours they advertise. They don’t respond to inquiries. I will be giving them another try & leave a updated review but as of now. I don’t suggest this place as a family or casual dining experience. The ambiance is nice but the energy and vibe from the staff doesn’t match.

A fb friend of mine always goes here and talks about how great the food is. Well last year I tried the food and it was the bomb!!! The wings and cupcakes are to die for!! The staff here have you feel like family and service is always great! They always have nice music when you enter and while eating!!

We went on a Saturday afternoon. This was my first visit...the atmosphere is pubish meaning dark corners high tables and bar large T.V and preset music. It looks as if they may have a DJ spinning at some point. It was a friendly family like vive without kids (not a place for children) they lionized the tables for cleanliness but I had some issues, masks are expected thats good temp is taken unfortunately it was not done correctly they have contactless menues but give you plastic drink menues our server also played hostess she was a little short and had an unfriendly ora about her (she may have had a bad day) we asked for water and she served it with hands on top of glass I ordered chicken and waffles chicken was overcooked and waffles were burnt. I did not complain but I also did not eat it. They were nice and took my order off the final bill. For that reason alone I decided I would try it again. Everyone has an off day........

Wanted to give it a try myself after reading mixed review, luckily there wasn’t a wait for a table, sucks they have a 90 min dining limit (but understanding because of the size). Felt rushed to order and leave. Pretty good music when it was playing. Ordered crab dip, it was served warm, would have been better hot. Drinks wasn’t strong, actually didn’t taste much liquor in the pretty in pink drink. All in all I would love it give it another shot. Ohhhhhh the wings!!!! Oh the wings was the best part of my experience and the wine lol

If I could only give them a half star I would. We dined at Grind and Wine on Friday 1/25 (my husband and my first time...definitely the last)! We decided to try their restaurant week options from the menu, but we were so disappointed. We self seated near the door because the restaurant was crowded, so we assumed that this place was going to be on point? The atmosphere was very quiet and cafe/bistro styled. The only seating issue is that, if youre short the bench seats are not for you...lol. Our waitress Ayanna introduced herself and proceeded to sit down in one of the chairs and exclaimed Im sorry, Im tired and Ive been standing all day!? Hubby and I just looked at her and each other.. Puzzled? We ordered the pan seared salmon with brussel sprouts and potatoes and the chicken with asparagus and crab hollandaise. Appetizers were buffalo chicken wontons w/mac and cheese (they were drier than the Sahara Desert), maple wings and baby kale salad. The kale salad had no kale in it whatsoever? The salmon was burned, as were the brussels and potatoes. My chicken was dry, the rice pilaf was not pilaf but chicken flavored rice with carrot bits? The crab meat was canned mush and the hollandaise sauce was creamy chicken soup? We got dessert with the restaurant week special, and asked to have it to go. Our choice was chocolate mousse shooters topped with cheesecake crumbs (the recommendation came from our waitress Ayanna)? The desserts were brought out to the table in plastic clamshell containers and prefaced with It looks better in the glasses! We waited 20minutes for the check and we both were in disbelief because we heard such great things about this place?

We had chicken and waffles the grease needs to be changed for chicken it was dark. The flavor was good could not eat cause of chicken color. Guest had the seafood flatbread it was very good no issue. Reisling wine was good nicely chilled. Nice vibe to space just too cramped during COVID-19. The service was awesome 😎. We would go again. Just need chef to be aware of food quality.

I was searching for a new place to try and wanted something with a laid back relaxed vibe. Found it!! As soon as I entered I felt calm and relaxed. I was greeted by every server as I walked by and the waitress I ended up with was lovely, funny and attentive.The place is clean and well-designed. Its a little tight in there if it gets busy (it wasnt the night i went) so idk how it is for brunch or another more popular time of day. I went on a Friday night.Shrimp and Grits (BANGIN), Lamb Chops (Delicious), Crab Balls (Heavenlyyyy) and Sangria (Dangerously good). I plan to go back soon and try something else!!

The food is absolutely delicious *chefs kiss*. I got my drink and right after the WiFi went out. My husband never got his drink. The manager never came to us and truly apologized and we didn’t even get offered a drink on the house due to the wait. eWe had to leave and get cash because the credit card machine was down. The food and overall atmosphere was great but the waitress although nice was not attentive. I will definitely be back just not to sit down. Just carry out.

Birthday celebration for a friend was excellent!Loved the ambience and the food was superb.

I did a carry order over the phone and was told that it would take 25 minutes. I arrived to pick up and waited for an hour. My friend ordered with me and received her order within 30 mins of us arriving to pick up. Her food was cold by the time I received my food. Overall, the food was okay. I wouldnt go back for carry out and I am hesitant about coming in for dine in.

Where do I start..Birthday bunch last Sunday for myself..party of 4..my sister ordered steak n eggs..they had no steak..she asked for salmon..they had none..she asked for a soup on the menue..they did not have it so they gave her a free bowl of cream of crab soup (that she had to remind them to bring) we all placed our orders n 10 minutes later the waitress left out with her coat on then returned with a bag that had eggs n a pack of bacon in it 👀 she proceeded to the kitchen. Our food came out about 45 mins later..Seafood Mack with no crab n it (asked where is the crab n was brought out a small container of crab to add) the French toast was burnt n other food not that good. I apologized to my family for bringing them there. The 2 stars are for the drinks which where good.

I placed a take out order today with the owner of the establishment Kelly. Kelly was was pleasant and inviting soon as she answered. She offered me a drink on the house which was Delicious. My rice bowl with Shrimp was very tasty. I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back as my food was hot and ready when I got there and I had exceptional service. The chef seemingly has a passion for the finished product• The restaurant is very clean and inviting• And the #1 pro is the synergistic conversation Ive had with other patrons of the place. This review was written while sitting inside the restaurant. On 2/15/20 Eric the bartender had POOR service I sat here for 2 hours after many prompts he finally brought out food but it wasnt what I asked for. Eric did not offer me any alternatives. I simply could not eat. He focused on the other guests even though I sat at the bar. I can only hope the owner Kelly expects better from her staff. I still havent received an explanation or a menu. HE Never came back to fix the issue. I asked for a manager but Eric claims none was there. The dishwasher guy offered to let me speak to the eldest person in the building when I asked for a manager/supervisor. My check was never presented to me during this complaint to deaf ears. Again I had to prompt many times for the check. Im ready to leave and eat dinner elsewhere since GRIND AND WINE ISNT SERVING DINNER! KELLY YOU MUST FIRE ERIC ASAP. YOUR BRAND IS AT HIGH RISK. You lost a customer in me.

Recently dined at Grind & Wine with a party of 20. Great atmosphere, excellent customer service and even better food. Zach provided exceptional customer service to our party by himself. We will be back!I gave it 4 stars because majority of our food was warm and not hot when coming out. Also, didn’t have everything on the menu.

The new brunch menu is Da Bomb!!! My BFF and I shared The Hangover and the Waffle Monte Cristo. The day drinking options were great! If they could add a serious espresso machine or really, really good coffee, Id up it to 5 stars!

We celebrated my moms bday at Grind and Wine. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked in the door. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating. She missed a few details and we had to wait a little longer than necessary for condiments but she was apologetic and got us what was needed. The food was great! I highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, Crispy Salmon, Crab cakes, Carrot cake and Peach Cobbler! I look forward to the completion of the expansion. We will return and will likely become regulars!

This was my first time at this restaurant. I really enjoyed what I ordered. The salmon sandwich and the wine I ordered were very good. They needed more wait staff that day, but when waited on our waiter was very attentive. I will definitely go back again.

Cream of crab had no cream didn’t have cream too much rue barely no crab. Slice of yellow cake was dry. My garden salad was fine lol. Heard this was black owned. So disappointed to be honest. Service was not good at all one server black guy bless his heart trying his best but doing better comes from great training. People don’t know good service until they have had it before. 🗣Step up and stop playing. We won’t be back but I hope it gets better

Please don’t come here hungry. The kitchen is extremely slow. It took an hour for our food to come out and the restaurant was not even crowded. The only reason Im giving it two stars because the food was good and hot when it arrived. The bar was also slow with drinks as well. Positives were the atmosphere. The music played was nice. It was an old school R & B vibe and the servers were sweet. However the runner that brought out the food had an attitude. He clearly didn’t want to be there or maybe he was just irritated about everybody complaining about how slow the kitchen was. Grind and Wine please get your kitchen together.

The best Cobb Salad I have had in at least20 years. Generous serving dinner salad with quality grilled chicken, avocado, baby greens etc. ample dressing on the side. Warm, personable service and gentle R&B music.This would serve 2 for dinner or 4, split as an appetizer or side.

I can’t even review the food because I didn’t stay and eat due to slow service. My party sat at a dirty table for 20 minutes without a greeting from staff or any offer of a menu. When I went to staff to politely request someone to at least clean the table off she said she would clean the table but then proceeded to address every table but ours. After waiting another 10 minutes we left. Will not be back. The atmosphere was chill - maybe a little too chill.

Tried for the first time Saturday afternoon @2 for brunch. Sat right away but there was only one waiter who was also taking care of the bar which was full.....So we waited and had to flag the hostess to get drinks after 20 min. The food took another 30 min. The food was awesome!But customer service needs to be first priority! There was no explanation or apology for the long waits....its nice comfortable atmosphere but wheres the customer service!? We never got the waitress, the hostess ended up taking care of our table.

We waited often for drinks, water refills and our meal. Our waitress was doing her best but seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. Sat for long periods of time (10-20min) before we received new drinks, extra items or service. Rough evenings happen.

The food, once received, was good but condiments never came and the food came out incorrectly. The correct food took another 25-30 minutes to arrive. Getting the correct drinks was slow and all that Management decided to do was to take off $4 since I ate the food. The food had 1 bite taken out of it because I didnt get the condiment requested and they didnt have any butter in the restaurant. As a relatively new establishment, I would think that it would be best to satisfy the customer especially since the fault lied with the restaurant. There was no apology and no sense of urgency to rectify the matter.

I got a really nice steak salad and sat by the fireplace for lunch. My server was really attentive and so friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and the coffee is great. Next time Ill take my friends and have some wine. :)

Entered the establishment and it was crowded. There was an event that night. Turned around and left. The wait staff came out to get me and told me that they found me a table. The wings were amazing the service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing. Im definitely returning here.

I had the cream of crab soup and the shrimp and grits. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere/decor was beautiful, but our waitress was a bit subpar. She seemed a little impatient when taking our order. Also, when my friend and I requested that our soup be heated up(it was near cold), waitress tried to explain that it was at the legally at the temperature its supposed to be at. Her demeanor rubbed my friends and I the wrong way. It is highly unlikely that Ill be back.

Celebrated my birthday here and had the Princess cupcake. Amazing, they have an in-house baker so it really tasted like cake. Atmosphere is so cozy with a casual sitting area, TV, fireplace, and charging stations for your phone. Highly recommend.
