HB Home Service team has an extremely professional install team Teresa and the office staff where great to work with. We had a heat pump put in about a month ago, and the crew that came was very prompt, clean, respectful and they made sure the finished product looked as aesthetic as possible. Highly recommend their service and will for sure myself be calling again!

The technician was courteous and punctual. He was thorough when explaining his findings. The price was a bit steep for the service provided. We also requested a dryer vent cleaning on the second floor. They doubled the price because it was a second floor. Thw technician didnt try to find a different solution for the high altitude of the vent. (A couple of days later we hired another company and their technicians found a better, less costly way of cleaning the whole vent from the attic of our home). Finally, the company said that they were going to inquire about warranty for our A/C model that needs repairing and get back to us. Were still waiting...Its been over a week. Although we appre interested their easy scheduling and the staff courtesy and manners, we wouldnt recommend this company for A/C tune-up or dryer vent cleaning.

So happy with the service I received. Adrian was professional and personable. Got a quote from one of the big name companies for over $1600 yesterday. Was told I needed 3 parts and they would have to order them. HB replaced the ONE part (which was in his truck) in 20 minutes for just over $400. Will absolutely use them again if needed.

We called HB home service on Thursday 07/22 because our water heater was no longer heating the water. Prior to calling them we were able to relit the pilot light and we thought everything was resolved. Only to discover that the flame kept shutting off. When we scheduled the service call, we did inform them of this. They attempted to call me while I was at work, even though my wife gave her info as she was going to be home all day. They sent the tech to another job since I did not answer my phone. The tech ended up coming and and relit the pilot light and said since it’s so late that’s all he can do right now. It went out again not even 20 minutes after he left. They charged $230 to do something that we had already done, that didn’t work and which is why we called them to begin with. Four days now with no hot water. Avoid at all cost!

We have been using this business for several years with basically good results. Recently they sent a service tech into our home who was not vaccinated. Given the fact that we did not have to interact with him and could keep appropriate distance, we let it go, although brought up how upset we were to the company. Although we are vaccinated, we are over 70 and in the high risk group, so we try to be very careful.Today they sent in an estimator. As part of the process, we had to sit down in close quarters, at a table together, for him to make his presentation. As we sat down and he spent time fiddling with his device I asked him if he was vaccinated. He replied that he was not. I was beyond shocked, sending someone unvaccinated to closely interact with customers at this point in time is inexcusable. I immediately got a mask on (I wish he would have told me when he entered my home that he was unvaccinated and suggest that I get my mask). He continued to fiddle and I suggested that he immediately leave. Yes he was wearing a mask, which I noticed did not fit particularly tightly. I am shocked at this completely unprofessional and dangerous way of doing business on the part of HB.

Weve been in contact with various contractors over the years, and this company stands out in terms of know how. Their diagnosis involves a comprehensive checkup which they share with you in detail and is much appreciated. They also dont sell you on their service which is exceedingly rare. We had an unusual problem which another HVAC service priced at over $4000. Air Solutions proposed doing something entirely different as a first attempt - fabricating a metal sleeve to redirect the air flow and much, much less costly. They made clear this might not solve the problem, but was worth exploring. This seems to have done the trick and while well be keeping eyes on our unit for the coming year, we are gratified to find someone willing to explore all options. All technicians Ive interacted with have been very low key, straightforward and thoughtful about education. Also key, they have actual office staff, as opposed to a call service, who act as an effective conduit to answers and shepherd your case to the next phase as needed. Nothing is dropped. In other words, this company is entirely trustworthy. They are worth every penny.

Purchased an expensive AC system from HB about 3 years ago. Recently it stopped working. BH spent about an hour and diagnosed coolent leak needing new coil. They charged us close to $500.and said that we cant use it until they order and install the new coil and add coolent. They gave an estimate for nearly $1500 for this. Called another company and they came and said that we have a slow leak and they added coolent. They said that we should have the coil replaced eventually and didnt charge for the visit. They estimated the cost to install the coil, which is under warranty and coolent to be around $700. I cancelled with HB and got them to refund me the service plan which they convinced me to buy.I dont understand how they are unable to locate my account when my credit card was charged $470.26 on 5/2 and credited $132 on 6/9.

The rating of 4.9 did not disappointment me like some others. My appointment process was smooth and the technician came to my house on time (same day of my request) and the technician knew what he was doing. Fixed my water heater issue right away .

Technician was polite and courteous. I was told up front the cost of the materials needed. He also took the time to explain how the particular part worked. My furnace is operating better than it has in years!

Ive been with Air Solutions for several years now as I have their annual maintenance plan for servicing my heat pump system that they installed a few yrs ago. Always been happy with all of their in home visits whether plumbing issues or just routine maintenance. Today John Kruger did an excellent job in finding the cause of my plumbing problem in the basement and making the required repair. Matt conducted a thorough inspection of the plumbing components of the home. Matt was very patient to answer all my questions as to what condition and functionality the plumbing components were in. He tested every component and provided a thorough post-inspection report which alerted me to short term priority items. He also provided useful advice as to the sump pump and what to prepare for in the future. Of great importance was an observation about the furnace venting which was a dangerous condition that needed immediate attention and repair by others. Matt was polite and timely in both the targeted arrival time and throughout the inspection timeframe. I would strongly recommend homeowners consider Air Plumbing & Heating Solutions for their plumbing and HVAC preventive maintenance and repair needs.

Upon calling the company for a quote, they were able to send someone out within a couple days. Chris Lamon did the initial inspection, called up their office, and was able to provide a quote then and there. He was very knowledgeable and able to clearly explain everything that needed done (it was also in line with what another company recommended). Within a couple days they sent out Gary to do the work (install two filter slots for standard filters, seal air leaks around furnace, replace some gas piping going to furnace, relocate power switch for furnace). He arrived promptly, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. Later that day I noticed that a new large gap had appeared where the upper ductwork attached to the furnace (it was a tight fit to get one of the slots in and Gary had to wedge himself in to get things attached properly which probably caused some shifting - totally understandable). I called them back up and they were able to send Gary back out within a couple days to fix the new leak. The new slots work perfectly, gas piping is secure, and all leaks are sealed tight. From my experience, this company is prompt, does an excellent job, and stands by their work as theyre willing to rectify any issue you may have afterward. Ill be highly recommending them to friends and family and will continue to use them in the future. As a side note, the other company we called for a quote wasnt able to provide one until a couple days after Air Plumbing & Heating Solutions actually finished their work, AND the other companys price was $450 higher, so know youll probably be getting a good deal with AP&HS. However Id always recommend getting at least two quotes to be safe.

TECHNICIAN came to provide estimate of replacing sump pump and was polite and knowledgeable about repair/installation of sump pump.He exercised caution to not track dirt into my home and practiced CDC safety guide lines.

HB installed a steam humidifier and did a great job, and now just came for annual maintenance. They took the time to add some cushioning to the humidifier to reduce some noise.

Tom was great. The tenant at a rental property we own was complaining of feeling cold in the back of her house. Turns out the back is an addition, with a heat pump. Thats why the air feels cool even thought he heat is on. He explained how the system works and demonstrated all the components. He suggested some solutions( turning up the thermostat-she had it set quite low). He was really thorough and I was impressed by his knowledge. Hes also a Navy veteran which was impressive as well. This same company also installed the central air in my old house, they were excellent.

Great to work with!!1/24/2020The technician Chris was thorough in his examination of our furnace and was able to explain in laymen terms the issues/problems we had. He provided a couple of options we have in going forward with fixing the problem. As a follow-up we had to get the furnace replaced. Of course it was a rainy morning, but the crew was very conscientious of going in and out of the house and staying on the tarps. In spite of the weather, they were able to do a great job with the installation. I was very impressed with the disposal of the old unit. They took everything and left no signs of it ever existing.

I have had ongoing issues with my mainline backing up. I have used various services periodically with varying level of value (expensive and improper auger used). That was not the case with Matt and Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions. He cleared the blockage. Used a camera to determine the depth of the problem. And after looking he brought his equipment back in and re-cleared the mainline. The value and quality of the service was the best - and this is the third service I have used. I will use the Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions to permanently fix the issue (dig up the yard) and would recommend this company to family and friends.

Since replacing our furnace and air conditioner, these folks have been wonderful at keeping up our regular maintenance (twice a year) so our new system stays tip-top. Always friendly and happy to take the time to explain whats being done or needed and how it works.

I love this company. We have a service contract with them that is reasonably priced and the same technician comes twice a year to check out our AC and heating systems. He remembers what has happened in the past and, unlike our previous service company, NEVER tries to upsell us with other services or equipment. I have used this company twice now, for air conditioning repair and to replace a garbage disposal. Price is average, but work and customer service is above average. The repairs are spot on the first time, employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They leave it cleaner than it was before too!

The tech replaced the arm on our shower head, which had broken off. He worked quickly and efficiently. He also gave me many options for another problem. I have used this company many times and they always do excellent work and are reasonably priced.

After paying close to $10000 to have a new furnace and hvac system put in by air solutions, the adjoining basement room flooded. My contention is that I should be paying the price for a shoddy job, which is $5000, NOT over $9000. According to their technician,who came after the flood to inspect the unit, no vent was put on the furnace drain trap, sealant was missing, programming for furnace wasn’t set up, and a plate was dry fitted but no coupling placed on the three quarters line. During this very dangerous time period, I selected a top company because I have a special needs daughter with severe pulmonary issues. I wanted top quality work, and i took on staggering debt to pay for a top job, even though i am a single mom whose earnings have been very affected by covid 19. This was not a top quality job! In face, their tech called it a sloppy job, and I am adding that this flood put my health compromised daughters life in danger. I believe that the company should be. willing to compensate me, by charging me only $5000, which was the price quoted to me by a lesser known company that i was considering using.

We had a water heater fail and started leaking in the late afternoon. I called Air Plumbing Heating Solutions and they explained how to shut the water off over the phone. James came out first thing in the morning. They gave me a simple quote from their rate book, removed the old water heater, picked up a new one, installed it and charged my card all within about 2 hours. Both James and his assistant (I cant remember his name!) were fantastic. They communicated in advance, arrived punctually, explained everything thoroughly, kept the workspace clean and made some recommendations for future cost savings. I dont know if this company is the cheapest, but Id prefer the confidence of a trustworthy team and quality of service and workmanship over price any day. I also appreciate that they do plumbing and HVAC. Highly recommended! Thanks James and team!

As a first time customer with this company, I was really hoping to find a good HVAC company to invest in long term. Based on the reviews of this company, I decided to give this company a chance. My issue was that my central air was blowing out hot air. So I know it had to do with the freon and possibly a leak. When the tech got to my home, he checked the thermostat, then checked the inside unit, then proceeded to the outside unit. I explained to him before he started what the issue was. As I observe him, he continues to go in and out the house. I notice hes on the phone with someone who appears to be giving him instructions on what to do. After about 30 minutes in after not seeing him, I check outside and hes sitting in his car for about a good 20-25 minutes. He comes back about 15 minutes after and tells me there is a leak but he cant find it. I ask... what do we need to do to find it. His response, its gonna take a lot more involved, we can either do a more extensive search or replace the units altogether. I explain to him that my unit is less than 5 years old, I couldnt understand why i would need to get it replaced when i knew it was a leak somewhere. I then ask him to give me a cost to find the leak, he quotes were looking at a couple thousand. I said go find a leak? He then says, let me check something, then goes back outside where hes gone for close to another 20-25 minutes. He then comes back in and tells me to omw outside to take a look. He says, I found the leak which is located on the outside unit where I thought he checked initially. I said ok give me an estimate on how much thats gonna cost. I go back inside. He comes back 15-20 minutes later gives me an estimate that im looking to pay out of pocket over $1000k for that leak and to refill the freon. I declined the services at that time he then says ok and then charges me an added on service fee that was higher than what I was quoted for the diagnostic fee which is what he did. When I questioned him about the cost, he then goes on a tangent about how he was here for an hour and a half and he had claimed to do all this extra work which I do not understand when essentially, he was to do a diagnostic on the problem with my central air. What concerns me is the fact that the leak was located on the outside unit is where you initially started to test out to diagnose the issue. If you had said what you had done initially as you claimed, you would not have been at the home for 1 1/2 hours. As a first time customer, I am disappointed. I was up charged from what was originally quoted to me for the diagnostic charge and the technician seemed to be struggling as the professional to properly diagnose my issue on something that should have taken him a lot sooner than an hour and a half to diagnose. Really disappointed with this experience because I had full intentions to have other services done with them and purchase their service plan as a recurring business.

We had Melise do our maintenance, she also troubleshooted some issues I was having and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend her and this company.

Not only was he skilled at his craft, he was also very sociable and provided insight in what to expect and how to extend the life of my system. I would definitely recommend working with Air Plumbing and Heating, based on my experience working with Tom.

Matt T was great, very thorough and knowledgeable. Matt found one small leak during the annual inspection but the cost of such a minor repair was unfortunately cost prohibitive and ill just do it myself. Although I prefer this company over two others I received estimates from in the area - I believe their overhead makes anything other than traditional repairs (hot water heater R/R, etc) overpriced. Recommend to find a way to reduce your COGS in order to make minor repairs more price effective versus DIY.

Jeff H was awesome - he was clearly experienced and knowledgeable, and I trusted his assessment. Unfortunately, his companys prices were WAY higher than the other quotes I received ($369 to replace a toilets tank bolts and gasket). I have no doubt that Jeff would have done a great job, but because the work I needed done was straightforward, I ended up going with another highly rated plumber from Angies List.

Mike came to fix a leaky toilet. I thought it was leaking at the seal, a somewhat pricey job, but he discovered that the bolts that connected the tank to the bowl were loose. Thats all. My other toilet was running periodically. He replaced its warped flapper. Then, he looked under my kitchen sink and advised me to tighten the fittings that connected the drain pipes from time to time. Nice guy! Showed me what he found and answered my questions. Wore booties to keep my floors clean. Im so happy Ive found someone honest and reliable. Bobby came later in the day to check my heater for winter. He told me I was using the wrong filter and explained why. He also said I needed a bigger air return. Someone named Jack was supposed to call me about that. No word about that yet. Ive had my heater checked at least 6 times since Ive lived in this house. No one has ever spent so much time checking my heater and no one ever mentored the problem with the filter. Again, Im impressed! Bobby was really nice and knowledgeable too. Ill be calling this company again and recommending them to my friends and family.

Keith, the last person to perform maintenance on my furnace saw an issue with my system that was not covered under the maintenance program. He fit me in his scheduled as quickly as he could doubling back the next day to make the necessary repairs. I have used Air Plumbing Heating Solutions for the past four years and plan to continue using them in the future.

James was professional, knowledgeable and had a very pleasant manner. He identified the problem and the parts needed to repair the unit very quickly. He outlined the cost of the repairs clearly.
