I order my Mom a LAVENDER bouquet of flowers for Mothers Day online. House of Flowers was the florist that was contracted for the bouquet and delivery. All said and done I paid $75 and my Mother, whos favorite color is PURPLE, received a dinky bouquet of PINK flowers!! I would have been better off buying 3 bouquets at Wamart! I would have spent less, got more, and could have arranged them probably better than what she received. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Delightful little place. More than just flowers, they even have wine and beer! The ladies who run the place are classy and so friendly and helpful. They will make you something to order if you dont see any of their beautiful pre-made arrangements you like. Highly recommend

Oh My Goodness!! So much more than flowers! She has signs, jewelry, antiques, memorial stones, stuffed animals, balloons, cards, plants and angels to go with any flowers you pick or. They wrap it up too! It is really amazing. The place is a must stop when in town. A great gem in Downtown Rantoul for the residents to have and support.

Really this is a 0 star...Ordered a nice $100 bouquet of flowers for my mother on Mother’s Day. Even ordered it two weeks early so I could guarantee delivery.Long story short....No flowers were ever delivered. NONE. Nothing left to say...I recommend shopping elsewhere.

We had ordered a few flower arrangements for my late grandmothers funeral yesterday only to be deeply disappointed. Below you will see what was promised on their website and what was actually delivered. The number of flowers and their quality were incredibly lacking. For example, notice the missing white roses in the deluxe white and purple beautiful heart bouquet. What was more alarming was the message I had attached to the flowers which was supposed to have said Sharing in your sadness as we celebrate Grandma Jean.What was printed said SHARING IN YOURS SADDENS as we celebrate Grandma Jean. The words I wanted to convey were completely butchered and did not make any sense. This company didnt care at all but just simply printed and stuck this note with a few cheaper looking flowers. You should practice more professionalism and think twice when promising to contribute something as important as a funeral to commemorate the life of a loved one.

I want to thank you Paula and Janet for the beautiful saddle you made for my Husbands grave. I live in Tennessee and Janet took a picture before they took it out to make sure that was what I wanted. Janet also removed the mowed grass and old flowers from his grave and sent a picture of it in place. When you live so far away it means so much to have a someone like them to take care of all my floral needs. Best Florist around. thank you again!

We ordered flowers for our daughter who lives in Champaign, IL. We live in NC and ordering online is always a little scary but Paulas House of Flowers did a beautiful arrangement for our daughter!! The arrangement they put together is even prettier than the picture on the website and our daughter is thrilled. Thank you SO much!!

I just ordered a funeral arrangement yesterday, I called from Texas. The sales person was very polite and I thought she understood what I wanted. Instead of what I wanted, I ended up with 1 arrangement with a lantern, that was mostly greens and fillers, I asked for carnations, stargazer lilies, and with some purple accents. What I ended up with was awful and I was embarrassed to have my name put on it. 1 of the lanterns had more than too much green, probably trying to get rid of extra holiday stuff. A few roses (I didnt ask for roses), maybe a few Gerber daisies (again, not asked for), some white carnations, but no pink, and a few purple filler flowers. The second lantern was just set next to the other arrangement with nothing on it to incorporate it with the arrangement. To top it off, there was a great big dead tree branch sticking out over a foot of the top of the arrangement. Really? A dead tree branch in a funeral arrangement? If it was supposed to bring it to a triangle style of piece, it failed. If it was supposed to be a focal point, it was, but not in a good way. It drew the eyes to the dead stick, not the lantern. My last, but not least problem with this shop was I gave them a $200.00 maximum, and I was billed for just shy of $225.00. As soon as the shop opens this morning, I will be calling them. I have worked in the floral industry for years, until I had an accident and became a quadriplegic, and I got screwed. I understand that they had to charge for delivery and taxes, but my limit was $200.00 total, not $200.00 plus tax and delivery. If I knew that the one lantern was just going to sit there looking out of place, I would have just ordered one. The saddest part of this is my whole family saw this arrangement and probably thought the same as I did, and its too late to fix. I should have had them send me a picture of the arrangement before it ever left the shop. I really hope that this shop can make it right. I am definitely not happy, can you tell?

I very never have really visited A house of Flowers but have tried to place an order over the phone. Paula was the best. Even though I still did not make the order she did everything possible to get me the information needed for the order. She took the time to get the information as well as calling me back wit it. Great place with great service by the way the order was for a international delivery. I would gladly use A house of Flowers for any other floral needs.

Not only will you receive amazing and personable customer service, but you will also be able to find exactly what you are looking for for any occasion. I wouldnt buy from any other vendor than Paula. Buying locally is one of the main things that keeps small businesses and our community strong.

Paula is so sweet and welcoming whether you are a stranger or a long time friend. I really don’t understand how anyone could say anything negative about Paula or her shop because every item I saw displayed was gorgeous and you could tell that great thought and work was put into each arrangement. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Horrible!! Will never use again. Ive used a third party ordering company (1800Flowers) twice and received flowers through A House of Flowers both times. The first time we received an extremely small bouquet- NOTHING like the purchased bouquet on 1800Flowers. I ordered through this website a few years later and unfortunately A House of Flowers picked up the order again. ANOTHER horrible bouquet. The bouquet was half the size of what it should have been and I was told because they didnt deliver the same day (which I paid extra for) they would upgrade it. The roses were wilting and brown around the edges of the petals. I spent $50 on a bouquet that I could have gotten for $10 at a local grocery store. Do NOT use this florist. I give them 0 out of 5 stars.

I received flowers from the House of Flowers for Valentines and Mothers Day - Stunning as always! Paulas design ability is very impressive, I have had both traditional vase arrangements as well as very modern looking pieces. I dont think you will be disappointed!

This whole experience of dealing with this florist has been absolutely horrible. I ordered through Teleflora and they chose a House of Flowers by Paula to deliver a standard arrangement of Passionate Purple tulips going to my mother-in-law for Mothers Day. They were delivered on Thursday 5/09.What we ordered and what she received were two completely different things. Passionate Purple tulips are supposed to be a deep, rich purple. The Tulips they delivered, half of them were a lavender/blue color and the other half were white with a little pink in them. Not only did they send the wrong arrangement but the bow they tied to the front of this arrangement looked like a five or six year old child tied it!I called the florist directly the same day it was delivered to complain about receiving the wrong arrangement and the lady on the phone didnt care one bit that they sent the wrong thing nor that it looked horribly unprofessional. She just bluntly said to me, well, what do you want us to do about it? Seriously! I asked to speak to the owner and was told that she was not available because it was Mothers Day. I find it hard to believe that rhe owner of a florist would be gone on the Thursday before one of their busiest weekends of the year. At any rate I got angry and told her I didnt want her to do an effing thing about it, that I would take it up with Teleflora.So Teleflora calls them back and set it up to redeliver the correct bouquet and pick up the wrong one. This was supposed to be done on Monday 5/13. It is now Wednesday 5/15 and they still dont have her replacement arrangement there. Teleflora has filed a complaint against A House of Flowers by Paula based on the picture and the fact that they have failed to follow through with re delivery of the correct arrangement and pickup of the wrong arrangement. So when Teleflora called them back earlier today to inquire why it had not been done, they also received some nastiness from the lady who answered the phone from the House of Flowers by Paula, so Teleflora has decided to have the arrangement redone and delivered by a different florist.Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessionalism from a company. When youre paid to send out a specific arrangement that you have listed on your website yourself, the customer should have a pretty good guarantee that theyre going to get what was advertised or something very close to it at least. If you cant deliver what you promise then pick up the phone and call someone if theres a problem. Dont just push out substandard quality and intentionally incorrect orders expecting your customers to be happy with it!It might also help if the owner was a little bit more active in overseeing that her business is being run professionally in her absence by someone that can be trusted to do so. Never again for me!
