It was clean and the employees was friendly, courteous, helpful, and polite. I found a nice winter coat and a few other things. Its has a lot of things you can buy I really like the store. Giving it a five star ⭐ rating because the store was clean and the employees was awesome!!!

Bought a large upright air compressor with all the attachments here. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Runnings now offers their own CC through bank of Omaha with great reward points redeemable in gift cards.

I have been shopping at Runnings for several years. I had to return something recently. I had a receipt. You would think a receipt would be sufficient, from two days ago. The customer service girl had another girl double checking my item and had to call her manager. I asked her why is it such a hassle to return an item with a receipt? She had an attitude and was totally unprofessional. I am done. I will give the other farm store in Rapid all my business instead. Good job!

They always have a good variety. Their isles for pets are huge. I found the ammo I needed in stock as well.

2 stars for the ability to find some things and a wide selection.My only issue is when your website says you have something in stock, and then i drive to your store and i get we havent carried that for months from an employee.That is why you get 2 stars. If you run a business that keeps inventory online, i expect it to run efficiently. Just really really poor efficiency. Which i believe says a lot about a company.

I used to love our local Runnings store. The Rapid City Runnings is a mess. You walk in and its hard to find anything.

Great selection and essentially a locally owned company. But literally had the worst customer service experience of my life here. Reported it to the Home Office and they did not even bother to respond. Apparently not important to them either. Arrived 10 minutes before closing for a quasi emergency, and was kicked out by a half dozen of kicking and screaming employees because they didnt want to have to close at 6:00 ( it was 5:50). Me and my wife and five other people. Are posted hours not abided by, or you have a fluid closing time?

Noah in automotive helped me buy a Karavan 5x8 flat hauling trailer and even showed me how to attach everything in the parking lot. Super easy process, thanks!Also, tons of different chicks (chickens/ducks/etc) May2021! 5/5 stars

Visiting from out of town and this was a very nice hardware store.

Great visit today. Went in for one thing but left with something else. Bought 2 plastic Adirondackchairs for 19 bucks each. As I looked everywhere in town I can honestly say this was the cheapest price in town. Even wal mart was 20 a piece. Visited the summer green house and ladybwas very nice. Bought several flowers at again best price in town. Give them a try...never know what u might find at a great price! Cashier was very nice and quick as well!! I almost forgot, they do NOT have military discount and the cashier said they only have it once a year maybe. In a military base town and with other similar stores like Lowes offering a great every day military discount, the manager might want to reconsider. But overall visit was still great!! 👍👍 2 Thumbs up!!

I’ve stopped here quite often and had good service. Today was a bit different. I was looking for a cordless screwdriver that my dad wished for for Christmas. I could not find it so asked a worker. He snappily said: don’t carry those and don’t know where to find one. Guess I’ll keep looking.....

Just love Runnings. For such a huge store it is always clean and organized. They had several cashier lines to make sure you were checked out fast. The cashier Linda J was very nice and helpful. Several team members walked by me to ask if I needed help finding things we shop here a lot for our farm and ranch needs. You have everything. The bathrooms are very clean. I recommend shopping at this store

Ok store wasnt exactly what we were looking for..was trying to find khaki pants or brown pants and there wasnt any choices.

Lisa and Carly in the outdoor garden and plants dept were very helpful and so kind. Lisa was very knowledgeable on items that were available and was able to help me find the fencing I needed. Awesome good people. Went later to get a cub cadet riding lawn mower and Jerry was super helpful with my purchase. He went out of his way to tell me all about the features and what he thinks of the mower. Very nice guy and knows his stuff. Thank you.

I love the variety of birds they have here. So many varieties of baby chicks that I usually have to order in large quantities online. Being able to pick a few of each is so much better! I also found pheasants, quail and partridge here. I cant wait for the latest additions to my flock to start laying eggs. Keep up the good work!

I purchased some shoes at Runnings in Rapid City and then I found a different pair I liked better and chose to return the pair I bought from Runnings. It has been over 30 days and I still have not received my refund. I continue to get the runaround from the managers, they say they’re going to call me back but they never do. They tell me it might take up to 30 days, we’ll it has been 30 days. It is extremely frustrating! I would not recommend shopping at Runnings if this is the way they are going to operate.

Went from Sturgis to Rapid City because the person on the phone at RV runnings said they had the decoy owl from the weekly ad.They had zero Owls from the weekly add,not happy.

I love coming to this store. Pretty much a one stop shopping experience with great product selection of top quality items. The store clerks are great and know their stuff. They definitely put some effort into making the customer happy.

We enjoy Runnings! Great prices and variety on snacks, fun old timey candy, nuts and mixes. Cheap spices for the kitchen was my funnest surprise. Competitive prices on bird seed, runs about the same as Bomgaars. Plenty of helpful and nice workers. No mask requirement (10/12/20)

This retailer is easily visible and accessible from the streets it is located on. It is a very well organized clean store that is adequately staffed with pleasant helpful people. It is easy to find a department you are looking for by the overhead signage. This retailer offers a wide variety of quality merchandise at affordable prices. Personally I feel very fortunate to have such a great retailer in my city. I would rate this retailer a 10 on a 10 scale.

This store has everything including live baby chickens and geese.

How many Runnings employees does it take to ring up potting soil? Apparently 2, and 15 minutes worth of making other customers wait.Their veggie plants were all dry and dying too. Over all, not happy with my shopping experiences at this store.

I love Runnings, its a great store with really helpful staff. They carry a huge assortment of items, from farming to firearms, and they have chicks (baby chickens). The prices are some of the best in the area.

What a joke. I mean, maybe had I been in-store and not called in, I might have had my answer in a timely manner. But instead I hung out on hold for 10 minutes...not driving in from Sturgis if they don’t even know the items they carry.

We used to love Runnings. Until we wanted to return some boots that were supposed to be for work in the North Dakota cold. My hubbys feet froze. The wouldnt take them back because they had been worn once. HOW ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO KNOW THEY DONT WORK !!

Runnings is such a great store filled with helpful and knowledgeable people! The variety of goods is unbeatable. I am always impressed with what they have. When I have had trouble finding a very specific item, they are ready and willing to find and order it for me. Their prices are competitive with everyone in the area and most of the time match or beat the internet. I shop here regularly and will continue.

When the Rapid City Runnings used to be in its old building, I did not care for it and rarely went there. Now in the old Sams Club building, this is my go-to store for almost everything. Actually a pretty good tool selection (tons of DeWalt and Milwaukee if you are a yellow or red user) including hand tools. Tons of pet stuff and even a good liquor store! When I can get a blade for the tractor and a Guinness on the same check it is a good day. Friendly and helpful to boot!

Nice place. Prices somewhat higher than some other places. But they have items and brands you cant find in other big stores..

Very poor inventory.You cant sell something if you dont have it on the shelf.However, the salesperson was extremely helpful and courteous.When he couldnt help me I went to Menards and they were completely stocked. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes.

Price of ammo was better. I paid 12.95 at fair Fair Deal. I had to get some 380 ammo cause pawnshop was out and noticed they sell there 9mm $2 dollars cheaper.

Friendly, very helpful, reasonably priced. We always enjoy shopping here. Before we leave, we aways go by their specialty soda aisle and pick something out to try or retry.

I enjoy Runnings overall. It is one of my favorite stores. However, when trying on some clothing today, I noticed that a camera faces into the top of the womens dressing room. Even if its not a functioning camera, I felt weird and exposed. I mentioned it to the cashier. First she didnt believe me. Then I showed her a photo. Then she said she was sure it wasnt real. Then she finally said she would let someone know. Hopefully thats the case. Even if it is not real it is alarming to see while youre mostly undressed in the womens dressing room. I cannot believe no one has ever mentioned this before. I will not be trying on clothing at Runnings again until this is resolved.Update: I received a call from loss prevention representative. He assured me the camera would be moved immediately. He also said it points forward and does not catch most of the dressing room area. He was friendly and understood my concern.

Prices arent the greatest. Last time I went was a 20 % off sale, heard the ad clearly on the radio at least 5 times, get their and it was only on clothes and shoes. They were also having a ladies nite out, which was nice but I wasnt going to stand in line forever no discount.
