These guys are awesome! I had quite a bit of maintenance that needed done on my pickup. They got it done quick and best of all it was affordable. I also really appreciated their honesty. They could have charged me the price that I originally got quoted and I would have never been the wiser but instead let me know that they actually were able to save me some money through labor because a few of the different things they were working on were quoted for individual time instead of being able to be worked on at the same time. I give these guys a 10/10! Don’t take your vehicle anywhere else. Honest, affordable, straight forward business!

Took my car there due to some engine hesitation, asked one of the workers there, about it and he did a visual inspection for free, and told me that my engine was most likely misfiring. Told me to check the spark plugs for oil, and if there was to schedule an appointment, I went home and checked the spark plugs and found out that one of my ignition wires were corroded. Was able to find out thanks to the mechanics help.

Been bringing my car there the last few times its needed maintenance. Always a good value and most importantly you dont get that feeling that youre being taken advantage of that you get at some shops. Furthermore, today I needed something done at very short notice and I had no appointment. Scott and Dan stayed late to fix my issue and ensure my car was going to be available for me to use for work the next morning. These guys are the real deal. Taking your car elsewhere would be a huge mistake.

I will no longer be using lake City Auto repair in rathdrop formerly known as main Street automotive. The mechanics who worked on my car in the past are no longer there and the price has tripled since the new ownership has taken over. My vehicle needs will now be done by Atlas automotive in Coeur dAlene

Went in to get my oil changed. They told me it would be about 45 minutes. I ended up having them replace my cabin and air filters as well as rotating my tires and they did it all in 45 minutes! I was very impressed with the time that it took!

Super honest guys and fair pricing. First time visit recently and they looked at my 99 Tacoma. At other places, you would get a laundry list of things needing to be fixed, these guys said everything looked great and were super friendly! Will come back when I need another service.

I live in Rathdrum ID and will only take my vehicles to lake city auto care, they are very honest with fair pricing. They have always been very courteous and professional and have squeezed me in-between appointments during a unforseen issue on my vehicle . A reliable and honest auto care place can be a bit sketchy at times.. I am grateful to have this place to take my vehicles and feel extremely comfortable with.

The guy that helped me was so incredibly kind! I had a rock in my wheel that was making the most horrendous noise so I called and asked if by any chance I could swing by and he said of course no problem dealt with it immediately and said he couldnt charge me because all he did was pop my tire off. So grateful and appreciative of the help!

Dale has worked on both my matrix & husbands Dodge. He gets them in quick and out again-if there is anything that acts up, he had me bring it back in to make it right. Very fair prices & great work!

I called on the weekend but they were closed. But got a call back first thing Monday and they were very nice and will do business with them at some point.

Very good place, I took my car to a different mechanic that was asking way too much for the diagnostic and the repair for the assumed problem which ended up being the timing belt so I brought it to lake city auto and they diagnosed and repaired for an insanely better price. They were booked out for a couple days but they checked it out when they said they would and once I gave them the go ahead on the repair they got it done by the next day.

Super friendly staff. Replaced my fuse that went out for free.

They are honest and wont charge you for repairs that arent needed. They even checked out my engine light for free.

Though my husband has been impressed with Main Street Automotive for quite some time, I recently had my first Main Street experience. These guys are GOOD! I drive an Acura and my car requires synthetic oil. They took my car in on time, and I was out in less than 25 minutes (maybe closer to 20), at a price far cheaper than the dealership. Dale and crew are pleasant, polite, skilled, efficient and thorough. They are Honda/Acura certified, but service every make and model. Next up...our 2007 VW! I just LOVE QUALITY! Very honest, straight forward communication, better prices and more knowledgeable than the Dealer in my case. Had it out to the dealer twice spent a lot of money on diagnostics and the problem was never corrected. Brought it here via a friends recommendation and they found the problem quickly and it did not cost me a small fortune to get it fixed! Experience and knowledge is hard to find these days, could not be happier to have found a great local shop near me. Thank You so much!

Shaun is awesome! I was charged way less than other shops charge and he even stayed open late to work around my schedule. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. They fixed my car when every other shop kept messing it up. I will never bring my car anywhere else.

If possible I would give 0 stars. I waited a month or two to be 100% sure I was right and not putting in a bad review over nothing. I had my rig brought in for ac recharge, as I had personally evacuated the system for an engine swap. This was unknown by the mechanic. After he looked at it he claimed the ac condenser was cracked and would need replaced, and quoted us over 700. After we said we would get back to them they locked the keys in the car with the quote before we even had a chance to say if we wanted it done. Got home opened the hood to find the fuse panel laying off to the side, o-rings sitting on the plastics, and paper towels stuffed in by the fuse panel and battery. Total lack of professionalism. Brought it to Green acre auto in libert lake and low and behold, 2 leaking o-rings...Replaced the 4$ o-rings charged the system and charged me less than 200. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. THEY WILL WORK YOU OVER AND SCAM YOU FOR YOUR MONEY.

Fast friendly service! Will be a repeat customer and recommended to friends. Had my car on and out in a matter of hours for a broken starter.

Several items serviced in one day at a cost less than quoted. Rathdrum Auto Care continues to search for the best quality deals and passes those savings on to the customers.
