I definitely found my forever mechanic for as long as I own my vehicle. I had a coupon that I was going to use (I forgot to mention it to the mechanic) and he gave gave me the special price for an oil change. Now thats what I call an honest and great business man. My windshield wiper linkage broke and while all the other places were up-charging me to replace the whole assembly, they let me replace just the linkage with a used part from the auto junk yard. I really appreciated that service, it was an easy fix and they were the only one trying to help me save money with a used parts. Works great now!

Luis has been our mechanic for many, many years and frankly, I would never trust our vehicles to anyone else. We have taken all makes/models to him for service and he has always been able to diagnose and fix the problem. It is a minimal wait time to get in for appt., and he usually only has car 1-2 days to work on it. Pricing is extremely fair and reasonable, far less than you would pay at a dealer. We had an incident last year where we were trying to find a new engine and he went over and above and spent HOURS calling all over the country to try to find the correct one. He is always pleasant and personable on the phone, and is a very hard worker who truly cares about doing the right thing for his customers. We have gone to Luis countless times since we moved to Ravenna and have NEVER had a bad experience.

While I have taken my car and my wifes car here a hand full of times, I used to recommend this place to everyone. NOT ANYMORE!!! just over a year later, after spending 400 dollars for new front brakes and calipers and rotors, my driver side caliper is sticking again. Ive already had to go back 2 months ago to get my passenger side caliper fixed. Along with the very first time I came here was to get a new motor in my window, and I left with my airbag light on. That took 3 weeks before I could get back in to get it wiped out. In February, my wife spent 1,500 dollars at this shop for work on her Equinox, only to have her radio never to work again. Do not go here. I tried to stay positive and only go here, but its not worth it. Brand new calipers and rotors and brakes should last for more that 14 months. especially when they charge you 400 dollars. PLEASE GO SOMEHWERE ELSE. Looks like Im the 2nd person on here who left with an airbag light on.

Dont take your car anywhere else. Luis is a very fair and honest man not to mention a fantastic mechanic. I live in Ravenna, my car is 22 years old and still going thanks to Luis. No matter the problem (except tires) Luis can usually get me in and out same day. He has save me many times. Picked up my car from my house when it wouldnt start in the morning. Trust A1 auto for all your car needs, bumber to bumber.

This guy unhooked my abs because he was too incompetent to figure out whats was wrong with my brakes. The ABS light never went off. I recently got my car looked at another place and they had me call him to see what exactly it was that he did. When I finally got a hold of him he denied ever working on my car
