They didnt have the part I need in stock..they checked there distributors-no luck. But they found where I can get the part on line. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Very helpful in locating some parts for a very old lawn mower
Just had my Snapper mower repaired here as the self-propelled went out at the end of the season and also had them do a tune-up as I bought the mower second hand and wasnt sure of its previous maintance. Great service, communication was awesome, and work was done in a timely manner. When I came to pickup mower looked brand new and I was able to see the parts that were replaced and ask a couple questions. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future for any of my mower repair needs.
I have done business with these guys forever (35 years or more) never had a bad experience. My two Snappers are both over twenty years and still going strong.
I thought this was a reputable mom n pop type shop. My first experience there was great. My second and now last experience not so much. They were not communicative as to the delay for repair, and when I expressed displeasure with having my mower for 20 days w/no progress or updates, they took offense. My assumption is because this was a warrantied repair for a product they service but not purchased from them, there was little to no incentive for them to provide timely service or be upfront about it. I will not use them again for any service or purchases, which is a shame because I prefer local stores over big box stores and had purchased products from them before.
Why dont mower places carry universal parts...
George is great to work with I needed a part for my craftsman push lawnmower and he ordered it for me and got it in a day when I got it I realized I needed a certain type of screw for it he found it right away ordered it and got it next day.I will never go anywhere else for parts and service
They always do a really good job and the price is fair and the staff are friendly.
Great people. George is the best. He is a patient, knowledge person who recognizes the needs of his customers.
George is amazing. He is helpful, honest and knows his stuff. Don’t buy from anyone else. If it’s not worth fixing, they tell you and are upfront about all their fees.Wonderful experience.

My mower receives the best care and maintenance from George and the good folks at Raytown Seed and Feed.I dropped it off a week ago and was given an estimated completion time of two weeks.I pick it up this morning.Great customer service and communication!
Service is very polite and parts are reasonable very helpful
Great people who have parts and help you know what you need
Took quick and efficient care of snowblower. Gave tips on correct fuel to use.
Thank you! I felt so welcome when I came into the store! You were able to share life experiences!
Called to find out if they had a John Deere riding mower blade. Was told they cant look up the part number. I gave her the part number. Still no help. I asked if they carried 16 blades at all. She said she didnt know... Im thinking if they cant look up part numbers for one of the most popular companies, they might not be very helpful to anyone else. Fair warning.2 stars for answering the phone quickly.
Excellent service, Great Staff. 5 STARS!!Compared to the many lawnmower repair shops I have been to over the years, Raytown Feed & Seed is a breath of fresh air. After being told that the hard starting problem with my Toro mower (still under factory warranty) was bad gas or other operator errors at a competitors of Raytown Feed & Seed I decided to give Raytown Feed & Seed a try.Wow, what a difference. After explaining over the phone the starting issue I was having, the gentleman on the phone assured me that he could fix the problem. When I checked the mower in they checked the mowers serial number with the Toro data base and told me that the repair would be covered under warranty! AND they had the mower fixed in only 3 days. The second time I visited Raytown Feed & Seed all I needed was a small part.I had lost a spring and only had a rough description for them as to where the spring went. They were patient and took the time to make sure that I received the correct spring, all $3.50 of it.I just wish I would have purchased the mower from them.
Fast and friendly place to get your equipment serviced will definitely be taking my equipment there again thanks guys for all your help
