I absolutely love Whitelam books. Their bright and cheery store has a plethora of good options, whether youre buying a book for you or a friend. Especially appreciate their book suggestions, which havent failed me yet.Also, if you need a unique greeting card, they have a great selection.

Whitelam is your **quality, not quantity** type of bookstore with a great selection of some of the best books, all curated and covering loads of categories. Any book you buy is going to be a great read, and if you are shopping for a gift then they will gift wrap it for you free of charge!Wonderful and knowledgeable staff, a selection full of great reads makes this one of the best stores in this area!

Folks here are super friendly, willing to help and research the right books for you or your kids. Place is also clean and well laid out with many options to choose from...they also have a small section of family oriented games as well. Highly recommend.

So happy that someone thought to open a neighborhood bookstore... this is a beautiful shop offering books, gifts, cards, knick knacks, I could go on. Ive been in looking for a particular book, mostly found it here but if not, Liz, the Owner, has sourced it for me - highly recommend, the staff are all so helpful and nice.

Amazing independent bookstore! Wonderful customer service, the staff is always helpful in finding books (and will order it if they dont have it in stock). Also has a great selection of kids games and toys, as well as other gifts like mugs, art supplies, candles, and cards.

They were very attentive to limited store capacity for COVID, but also welcoming, helpful, and considerate. Two days before Christmas, we waited in line floor a few minutes. They asked me and my little one to wash our hands on the bathroom when we entered. After that, it was pleasant shopping (if somewhat hurried, I knew others were waiting). The staff made great suggestions, distracted my child while I found a book for him, and were discreet in ringing up and bagging gifts. The store layout was pleasant and attractive; although safety was obviously paramount, it didnt interfere with the delight that is a bookstore at Christmas.They had also run through a long list of girls for availability, earlier via phone, and had books ready for me to pick up.

What a fantastic, sweet surprise this place is. i went in on a whim and am thrilled i did. the woman who helped me was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and we had a lovely chat about books. she showed me one id never heard of, and ive already enjoyed the first few chapters. its clear the people who own this place and those who work here love books, and want to share that love with others. i dont live close, but ill make a special trip to this place anytime im in the market for a new book. theyre just wonderful.

I went in a few weeks back to get my 13 year old son non fiction age appropriate books. Liz made several suggestions and provided a brief description of about 5 books. I left with 3 of the 5 and Im happy to report that all 3 are almost finished. Thanks Liz. Happy to work right next door so I can pop in and grab more!!

If you can’t find what you are looking for don’t hesitate to ask one of the workers to look it up and order it in for you.Dont let the big online store get your money, they cant compare to the customer service of the employees or the warm quaint store.Got books for family here and couldnt be happier!
