Most of the associates are nice. Some managers too. The main manager is horrible. I frequent this Walmart often and yes this guy is always running around but he has no problem belittling his employees in front of customers. Which is wrong. You want to be a a$$ don’t do it in front of customers and if your that miserable with your job you find it comfortable to belittle your employee you seriously need a reality check which I’m sure my mom made clear tonight when we left. Also if your going to lock the doors to the exits/entrances you really should put up signs. The lack of customer service is astounding especially when employees see a person with checked out bags in the cart walk to these doors that have no signs. Over the 4 years I’ve lived here the last 2 years at this Walmart has shown just how bad management is. Bathrooms were clean, shelves cleaned up, a lot more organized before. Now it’s like I walked into a Philly Walmart with trashed bathrooms and stolen/opened packages everywhere. This Walmart has seriously taken a dive and it’s a shame.
Its A pretty good Walmart minus when the lines are so long people are putting their stuff down in the clothes because theyre all the way back in the clothes waiting for the line and theyre leaving cause theyve waited for A while already.
Great variety in the Pennsylvania Walmart. We dont have a lot ofbm freshness and variety in Louisiana. The ingredients are way more potent and color of the food is brighter and fresher. Is the air or the produce that makes it so fresh?
Don’t go here if you’re going for only a few things or trying to be quick. Very rude crowd, people with full carts going into the self checkout and the attendant doing nothing, meanwhile there’s a line of four people also with full carts waiting that won’t let you go to the front even though you only have 4 things and no cart. The home side is a mess, not a whole lot of stuff is where it should be. Grocery side looked nice though. That’s about it
There is an arrow in the ceiling in the sports area (pictured). Spent way more time here than I wanted to. Every time I enter this store, I leave unhappy. There are only 6 registers open. Every line for the registers goes all the way back into the clothes. Even the self checkout only had 3 registers working. It took 25 minutes to get to the register. It’s the middle of the day on a weekday. There needs to be more people hired and more registers open. I like the products sold here, but the experience to get them, is almost not worth it.
I hate this chain in general but this one in particular is terrible. Unless you need electronics forget about getting help in any other department. I stood at sporting goods for 30 minutes waiting for someone to check me out for a hunting license. Multiple people walked right past me. I stopped a couple and they would page someone and nobody ever came. I finally went to electronics and told them how long Ive been waiting and he called another employee over and he said Im on break. Ill be over when Im done. I was furious and told them to send somebody else over there. Someone finally did come but a half hour to get a hunting license is ridiculous. I would avoid this store if at all possible. I even called the store from sporting goods and it rand for 10 minutes without an answer before I hung up. Believe me this is not my first bad experience at this store as it is the closest one to me. I would recommend either Pottstown or Morgantown if you have to go to walmart.
The ethnic (read- Black) hair section is always a mess in this store! There were products still in the packaging sent from the warehouse on the shelf as if thrown by a someone stocking who didnt care to find where they go. Even though I know they carry a machine that tells them exactly where it goes. Anything organized you see is from me because I literally couldnt see what was what at what price. It feels so disrespectful. You keep a store clean out of respect for your customers. WHERE IS THE RESPECT HERE!
This place and there associates are TRASH. Ive put in a curb side pick order and was told it was at 9 am currently 10:50am and Im still waiting for it to be brought to my car called the number they say to call when you arrive......call 6x and left 2 voice-mails. Called the store NO ANSWER. Called the company number there more help then the actual store. How when the company is calling ya pick up but when a customer calls ya leave the phone ringing. But hey let me go inside and see them just talking and gossiping away but will look at a phone ringing either walk away or act like its not ringing IVE SEEN IT DONE. Ya need better associates it dont take almost an hour for me to get an order that was already ready for me to pick up to begin with
We order our groceries and just pick them up. There people are doing an excellent job shopping for you. Try it once!!!! Youll get spoiled quick......
It was good. Friendly people and some offered help
Clean store, some items I needed werent on shelf but Ill check at another store. At check out an item was missed by Cashier from previous Customer that was added to my purchase. Only when I was putting my purchases in vehicle did I notice it. I had to return to store for a return ( item was almost $13.00)...next time I pay better attention to what Cashier is doing instead of putting my purchases on counter to hurry for customers behind me.
Everything you need in one place, some say, you can even find happiness in there... That has yet to be proven.
I brought some fairly price tires. the service was excellent. I feel like that is one of the only sections where you can actually get help and assistance without having to wait long.
Scott the greeter was great and Matthew the cart pusher was so kind and great I really appreciate their professional courtesy.
Although I prefer this Walmart over the Walmart located on Temple bc it’s a little less crowded at times, I cannot understand why such huge store has only 4 cashier open at the rush hour of 5-8pm. Everyone is trying to get things quickly and get home tired after a long work day, but these ppl don’t open enough cashier and the lines to pay is HORRIBLY LONG!! The garden cashier is closed most of the time, the pharmacy cashier doesn’t take more than 5 items, the electronic is always busy with a ppl. I walked around the entire store to find an open cashier and it was RIDICULOUS! Walmart on Temple has a bigger variety and has more open cashier. I’ll consider going to target or somewhere else. The staff here barely cares to assist, if you get an associates attention, consider yourself to be very Lucky; they pas by you like undercover who do not want to be noticed. This is the worst store and I don’t recommend it.
Low prices, large variety of items. Garden area needs some work done, wish they had more plants and why is there 20 lanes and only 2 cashiers, lines were super long, cashiers were extremely slow but other than that I will come again!
This time the shelves were empty. Some people were stocking certain areas. Their large carts made the isles very narrow and cluttered. Especially when the store was very busy. Very crowded. Some people are rude. They cut you off. Stand smack on top of you in line. In the parking lot you might have someone cutting you off. Taking your parking spot. Parking lot was very crowded with cars. On line orders for pickup are clearly designated. Pickup in the store is also clearly marked. Lines were long. Only a few registers were open. Patience is a must. When shopping at Walmart.
Well what can we say about Walmart? The prices are great! The selection is good. The lines are long to checkout. I dont like self checkout. The bathroom needed cleaning. There was someone throwing up in the sink....🤢
ALWAYS a huge wait in line due to lack of open registers and poorly stocked and cleaned. Most of the experiences Ive had with employees has also been lack luster or straight out poor.
The staff is good except the curbside staff. They jump in front of you and block isles while keeping up with online is more important than the people who are in the actual stores.
Its Walmart. Geez. What I can say about this location though is that its better kept and more organized then most of the other Walmarts in the region.
Auto service worst part of this store with overall horrendous customer service. The auto center is typically always staffed with ONE guy at best running the counter, and he has to take 20+ minutes dealing with most customers. Youll be here FOREVER and thats IF they can even get you in. Been this way for YEARS NOW.
A few of my orders in the last few months have been delayed but I’m guessing that’s because of understaffing which is a general issue right now, not just with Walmart. Other than that, I always use their pickup service and I like how easy it is to review substitutions in the app.
Certain shelves are always a mess, are missing or have no merchandise on stock. Employees seem not to care more than ever about assisting customers which makes since before and after covid and rude customers. Atleast you can find most of what you need for a low prices.
Bought tires and only 3 came in and 1 on the way. Try to call the tire center and the store no answer. If I could give a zero star I would. This is horrible. I need to get inspection done but need my tires first. Big inconvenience that they do not deliver when they say and don’t answer. Also when I was there I had to wait 30 minutes for someone with my 19 month old son. By the way another customer was waiting there longer. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
I’m not sure what the woman’s name was, but one of your cashiers (an older woman with shorter hair) on register 10, she was working around 3:30pm, on Saturday. We had such a beautiful conversation on top of how amazing she bagged my stuff without even being asked. I wish I knew her name so she could be applauded for her great worth ethic.. if you do find out who it is please let her know she’s the kindest woman and I loved our conversations.
This Walmart must be suffering from the side effects of COVID -- short handed staff. The side entrance is convenient if you just need to run in for something in the garden center -- except there is nobody on register and you have to go to a checkout at the front of the store. We went through the self checkout and the attendant was not attending. She was sorting hangars and not directing people at the front of the line. 3 self checkout were open and people did not know they could go to them. One of our items was missing a bar code. My wife told the attendant and she just stared and would not say anything. This has been typical of our last several trips to this store. Time to forget Walmart and go to Target.
Very open space. Easy to find things. Hair products like shampoo and conditioner shouldnt be so far from the body was item
The workers and mechanics were professional and great however the time is terrible. I was told 30 minutes for tires to be put on and it took nearly an hour and a half. Waiting and waiting to get my car back. No updates or anything the whole time… overall not satisfied
Some times they delay your grocery pick up for way too long... Else rest is fine... Need staff to be a little more friendly
Needs some more cleaning. Definitely can use more registers open, especially when they have over a dozen. Because of the wait time to go through a register, I prefer to either pick up my order or have it delivered. This is NOT because of COVID. The 1-3 register issue has been going on long before this.
Well stocked clean no lines at check out
This Walmart is an absolute JOKE !!!!!!!! What is the point of having that many registers when YOU ONLY HAVE 4-6 OF THEM OPEN !!!!!!!!!! COME ON !!!! Amd its like that when I come here. I wish this Walmart would just shut down. They never have everything you need. I have know idea what they stock be cause the shelves are always poorly stocked! Compared to Walmarts around the area this one is an absolute disgrace!! When you say something to so called management all they say is people called off and we are short staffed .... everyday ????? Open your eyes and do your dam jobs. I can go to any surrounding Walmart and at the most stand in line 5 minutes but NOOOOO not tat this Walmart you will wait in line at the minimum 15 to 20 minuets.I will as well as family and friends and anyone I can possibly tell will never be coming back to this dump again !!!!!!
The best Walmart out of the three in the area staff is a little ghetto for lack of a term but it has the most stock and supply
Lots of empty shelves and expired products were the order of the day. Inflation has not left Walmart unscathed...if you could find an item, it was expensive.
Place is ridiculous, waited 20 minutes for someone to unlock the headlights (after I had to find someone) only to be told that there wouldnt be anyone in the store for ANOTHER 20 minutes that would have keys to open it....and their mens room is constantly disgusting and in disarray. Theyre always hiring but never seem to have anyone to help you.
The fast Wal-Mart around this area
One the the place where you can shop for everything, one shop srop. Love it.
Need to organize better and bring human cashiers back. Fruit and vegetables get old very fast. Other than that Walmart has everything I need.
Nice store will shop again. 💯
I prefer this particular Super Walmart over the location located on 5th Street in Reading/Muhlenberg... more organized and cleaner.
This might be the most clean and tidy Wal-Mart I have ever visited!
I am standing in line right now..all the way back through the clothes. Every isle backed up like this. From my view, which isn’t a full view. I am looking at 7 unopened cash registers..REALLY? Surely you can do better Walmart!
This was an excellent Walmart in our area with great variety of products, while as the other 2 Wal-Marts in our area need to be more security concerned.
Had nothing to say. Had no problem
Always a disaster watched customers steal in front of an employee and walk out. Its just sad...
Had way more inventory . .than ...5th street.. Walmart... probably.. caught them off guard.. either way... noticed t.vs..have gone up..
I really believe we are getting items at a great price. Im happy for employees that they are getting a higher salary.
Wal-Mart was very bussy, it took for ever to pay for my things, one cashshar on
This specific store is absolutely awful. Popular items always out of stock and, good luck, prying employees away from their conversations with other employees for assistance is nearly impossible. Terrible management!
Everything you need you will find, but the only problem they have is that they need more open registers .every time I go there is only 1 or 2 registers, and with all the people that go there yes definitely they need at least 5 or 6 open
One hour & 35mins is way To long at custom service Desk just to return a online merchandise
Customers are rude especially people with carts. Think they own the store. Never enough cashiers and then they even have the self checkout closed.
Most inexpensive place to shop.
One of the best walmarts Ive been in my life
The layout of this super center is almost exactly laid out the same as the one on fifth Street highway; except for the fact that the entire store is literally a mirror image to it. Literally all stock is entirely the backwards of the other location. Which to me is intriguing even though to probably most of you this factoid is just useless data. To me, its a fun little change from what one might consider the norm.Over the years I guess Ive just come to appreciate diversity way more than I had years ago. Cheers Walmart for doing what you do in as many ways as you can figure.
I havent shopped in crowded stores for most of the last year. I stopped by because the garden center doors were open. I got a cart. Went in to get a couple huge bags of Miracle grow potting soil. When I got in there really was no garden center. Maybe its now a lawn center. I peeked my head into the main store. Not too crowded at this end, so I picked up 3 items I needed. I came back to the garden center & a salesperson told a couple of us that no registers here were open. He went to lock the Garden Center doors. (3pm) I told him I was parked out in this parking lot. Could I leave now theough these doors, w/o my items? (We were standing at the door) He told me to check out at the other end of the building and walk from there. The crowds were dense by the couple registers that were open. I left my cart of items and hurried out the doors, I walked around the building to get to my car. This is my 1st time back after 2020. Ive learned to live w/o you Walmart. I can continue to do so!
Were out of mulch- waited about 45 minutes (after parking by the garden center to carry my toddler around to a different door because the garden center wasnt open at 8am???). Then waited in the area for some associate to finally show up telling me as Im standing next to a pallet of the exact mulch I wanted, that they were showing negative 23 bags and nothing in stock. I hate Walmart- this is why I have not gone in 3+ years.
Produce people were excellent, but no registers open, 158 dollar order at self checkout, when tons of staff standing around talking in groups of 3
You can expect it to be like any other Walmart with having everything youre looking for but the auto center does need more employees to at least be available by the register.
Huge store, has everything I think I want. The staff are efficient too. Though the number of cashiers available compared to number of customers waiting to check out is 1:100😥, the ones available are trying their best.
Love shopping here! The selection and prices are great! Only downside is the number of registers open... especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning! So frustrating. Other than that, it’s a great location!
I went specifically for one item, found it but couldnt purchase it because the sku was not in their system! Ugh!!
Ot was a good. Experience. Needs.more cashiers.
Much more organized and clean that the one at Temple. People seem nicer as well.
The Walmart in Exeter, Berks County is very, very nice.
As always, dirty, poorly stocked, inadequate checkout staff.
I mostly find what I am looking for. The pharmacist is always very willing and helpful to answer questions or help you find something
Too crowded. Found what I needed though.
Better than the Walmart in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg combined 💯
Aisles very tight clothes racks over stocked clothes on ground and under racks. No staff. Trash on floor at entrance. no one watching th exits. Prime area for theft. Parents allowing kids to RUN through store. and use motorized carts. There has to be a better system for using the motorized carts.I feel bad for the disabled who do need them. Your Corp needs to look into who they are truly used by.
I know this store like the back of my hands
Excellent and the price was good for a oil exchange in my car, in Walmart auto center, thanks.
Not satisfied at all shelves almost bare rude and ignorant managers children riding all over store on handicap scooters and management is to scared to confront them cause they r african or Puerto Rican!!!!!;!
This is a first for me. I always have a good experience with Walmart, but not today.I ordered air freshener vent clips for my car, and they substituted a different scent for the one I ordered. The guy getting my purchase for me in the pickup area was great, but getting a different product than the exact one I ordered made it a much less than great experience. If they had sent me an E-mail, and offered a choice of getting what I did today, or waiting a week for the correct scent, I would have waited for the correct one.I do Lyft with my car, and get compliments every single day, on how good my car smells. Scent does make a difference, when trying to keep paying riders happy.Bad reviews are very rare from me, but Walmart really dropped the ball on this one.
Love Wal-Mart! I bought 3 beautiful kitchen towels....$ .89 Each.
Curbside pickup was surprisingly fast and convenient
Love Walmart. I understand why I have to travel to get these incredible deals. Too bad NY wont allow a Walmart. Too many businesses would go under.
This place has the worst inventory. Every time I go it feels like the day after black Friday due to the empty shelves. It also has the longest line for self checkout, seriously its ridiculous. They constantly need more cashiers because it can take upwards of 2p mins to checkout.
This store is always well stocked with a wide variety of items. I love that I can get my groceries as well as many other items all at the same place
Waited 45 minutes for jewelry watch ⌚ department and no one help me and my mom out I even asked associates around us and no answer or no one showed up poor customer service at Exeter Township,Pennsylvania or Reading, Pennsylvania Wal-Mart I question that one out what help hmm.
Can find mainly everything,, and also have masks, gloves, disinfectant spray n paper towels to wipe carts when you first walk in, carts should be already disinfected but if you wish to redo you can, supplies are all available for free 😀
Use to be nicer. Lines for checking out are always so long. But they do have everything you need
I was there for a curb-side pick up. Good customer service. Didnt wait too long for my package.
My experience is always good ., 😁
Still have restrictions on number of checkout lanes open. Long lines. Uncomfortable wait for checkout.Keeping people in checkout lines longer does not slow the spread of covid! It keeps them around potential carriers for longer lengths of time!
Clean and organized. Unlike ones in MA
We ordered for curbside pick up. Our order was short 1 out of 2 curtain panels (supposedly out of stock.) This forced me to go inside the store to shop for a replacement. I found the items I needed, which meant someone didnt do their job correctly. We waited in a line of 10 carts to go through self checkout. The lines at the registers with cashiers were even longer. This is completely absurd! Pay people a living wage and hire enough help... this kind of service is unacceptable!
This location is consistently disorganized and unclean, but I keep trying to make use of it, as its the closest one to me. Theyve changed the oil in my car and neglected to inform me it was ready for pickup (leading to a rather frustrating encounter with customer services late at night), left a photo order marked delayed for over three months, and consistently fail to answer calls. Whats more, they show a complete ambivalence towards Covid precautions, doing little or nothing to stop customers from coming in without masks, or asking them to wear them while in the building.
I will not be returning to this Walmart. First of all they only had 2 check outs open. Self check out had a huge line also. Lines were very long and we waited an unacceptable amount of time. Then I was stopped as I was leaving and the guy insisted on going over my receipt and examining all the items I had in the igloo cooler I had bought. After an unacceptable amount of time he finally said I dont see the pizza on this receipt.So... you think I purchased the $40 cooler to steal a $5 pizza?? He finally let me go and the pizza was definitely on the receipt.Just another reminder of why I usually go to Target. Do better Walmart.
This place is dirty and disgusting. Nothing is ever stocked or in the right place or even marked correctly.
Great prices, checking out is ridiculous. Self checkout is shutdown an hour before close (most likely because the manager or employee incharge of the area wants to head out early and wants to count the drawers)..if thats the case then more than 1 of your 30 normal checkout lanes should be open.
Always out of stock on many items. Very frustrating to shop here.
Its okay. But those shelves are always half-empty
They really need to maintain there bathroom they never have hand soap and bathroom are always disgusting.... clothing area is always messy smh
Every body know that dont expect service in WALMART BUT THIS READING BRANCH IS THE WORST...EVEN THE STORE MANAGER SHE DONT HAVE TIME TO TALK TO YOU ...FORGET ABOUT SERVICE
It was very overwhelming here. The grocery section had racks of clothes in the aisles which made it hard to walk. From my point of view they shouldnt be there. I asked an employee for help and she was helpful but seemed to be distracted as if she didnt want to help me but had to because it was her job. A little unorganized some things seemed all over the place. I dont know if I want to go back to this walmart.
3 no registers open. Shelfs emty
