Good prices even better when there are deals. Must bring your own bag, but they do sell bags if you need. They added more self checkout registers which is great, but they need more employees.

Pretty clean....food is at a good price....as for the workers....I guess like every other place... there are some nice employees and some rude ones as well....but if ur looking for a good deal and want to save a couple dollars this is a good store to do grocery shopping!!

For about the 8th time this year, I brought home meat from this Price Rite in Reading to find that it was rotten. The date wasnt anywhere near expiration, but the meat is tainted, sour smelling, and gross. Never have this problem in other stores.

Best place to shop in the area. Super cheap prices. They are a discount store so keep in mind that they dont always have everything you are looking for.

I used to shop there all the time. Now its a hassle. Self checkout reallllly ???? With all the items i have in thy cart. And hardly anyone working there! No assistant just one lonely cashier telling you to self check out. Hell no smh

This used to have such a neat outdoors. Filthy carts all over with trash in them. I am so upset and disappointed at its initial appearance.

Not bad prices. Sometimes they dont have the same items on a weekly basis. I stay away from their meats though. Had a couple bad experience with hamburger and pork.

How bout you hire some cashiers. I went there a couple days ago and there was not one cashier and a very big line waiting to go to self check out and only one staff. Seems like they’re cutting corners trying to save some money.

Food is cheap but most of the time there is no cashier. Me with a bad back cant bend down when in self checkout.

I was able to purchase all but 2 items. They carry name brands and generic brands. Prices are reasonable and I didnt have to wait in a long line to check out.

I used to go there 10 years ago, and my family liked it then, but we had to move! Now, since I moved back to this area, I absolutely love it even more!!The fresh produce area is much larger, plenty of area to move and easily find every thing I want, with a great selection, all nice and fresh, beautiful!Plenty of room in each isle!And for once, Ive finally found the frozen food was organized, and easy to be pleased!Other stores Ive been to are not my recommendations!Price Right? Im back, and I loved shopping today! Your the best in Reading now!Thanks for having great choice of employees also to answer any questions for help! A nice close by grocery store, but you might find better savings at places outside of the city like Aldi

Selection is spot on, and customer service was as well. Just as professional a grocery store as I remember it being years ago.

Wide aisles. Reasonable prices. Wait line was a little too long but they finally opened another register.

Theyve done a lot of remodeling, so the layout is much better. The parking lot is a real mess, though.

It was the day of the snowstorm. I needed to buy some fresh fruit, & few other things. The prices are very good 👍. I bought a 4lb. Bag of navel oranges for $1.89, they were the Best oranges Ive ever eaten!

Parking lot is a little dark at night and could use better lighting. Some people drive like bozos in the parking lot maybe because there are no speed bumps. Outside of that, prices are great and the staff are very hardworking.

The place is clean, the sale prices are good but alot of items do not have the price marked. Selection is poor but to be expected. Beware of the flyers. They have digital coupons but dont instruct that in order to use them you must go to their app and fill out an application. Be sure to check your receipt!!!

I havent visited this location because what it used to look and smell like. However, my recent visit was extremely surprising. The aisles are organized, produce looks fresh, the floor layout is designed well and the store appearance is much better than before. It looks similar to a much larger chain store. The only drawback, as it was before, was the limited staff at checkout which created longer waiting; the staff was friendly though.

They need to check the expiration dates on the prepackaged meats and items I ended up throwing sandwich meats the very same day over 2 weeks expired and if I didnt live so far I wouldve went back just to complain

The prices are ok and fairly reasonable. Thats the only reason they received a 2 star. The employees on the other hand are a little rude and when you ask for help, they tend to ignore you or give you a attitude when asked for help.

The remodeled Pricerite has opened and its ready for all customers. Nicely remodeled, with self check out service, updated cash register and staff all around to guide and help you out. Ample parking in site. Prices of course are just rite.

I havent been back to Price Rite in Reading, Pa. for a couple of years. I stopped shopping theirdue to their lack of customer service and the dcline in theirupkeep and housekeeping ofthe premises both inside theirstore, as well as outside of thestore. Untill yesterday evening,that is. When I entered the storeI was amazed ! It was clean andbright and looked like it had beencompletely remodeled. Customer Service was excellent. Prices were amazing, quality of the merchandise looked exemplary I will definitely have to go back to Price Rite again very soon. The experience was totally awesome.

This store is great to shop for groceries when you are trying to save every penny. They have great prices on meat and they have a good variety of Spanish items that I use to cook with which unfortunately are extremely hard to find in my area. You do have to pay for your bags, they are 10 cents a piece but Im they are really good bags that u can reuse multiple times.

Great place to shop!!! The employees are very kind, respectful, courteous and helpful! It was an all around pleasure to shop there and I will definitely be going back there to do all of my major shopping!

Lot of trash in parking lot

The store looks great, but ive noticed the prices have gone up & I can only buy certain items there now, the small cereal boxes are 3.49 thats overpriced & the juices, & frozen items also went up in price & they used to accept coupons now they dont. 22 items cost me $87 Ill only be going there for produce & certain Goya products in the future unfortunately.

Fresh products. PriceRite is a grocery store with fresh products and packaged products that are easy to see. Its not messy like some other stores. But sometimes has only one register open.

Place is the same as usual no problem with the product only issue is they did not have anything to wipe the carts no hand sanitizer nothing poor worker explain they have not sent him anything. Make sure ya all wash ya hands

Nice & clean remodel....I just had trouble finding price markers for some items maybe a price machine would help? I thought they took manufacturers coupons? But I found good deals anywho. Ignorant customers, but thats not the stores fault.

Great prices! & I love this location, its very close to home for me. I was surprised to discover that I, personally, prefer PriceRite over Aldi. Same concept, different brands. Remember to bring your own bags, or pay $0.10 each for their plastic ones. Theyre actually pretty decent bags if you do end up having to buy them.I ran in quickly this afternoon to pick up what I needed to make dinner & I ended up spending $8.23 for 2 packs (each were a little over 1 lb.) of boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders, 2 cans of green beans & 1 bottle of Italian salad dressing. Subtotal was $8.13 & I had to purchase 1 bag for a total of $8.23! Not bad!The reason I prefer PriceRite over Aldi is simple; brands! They have pretty much everything in their store brand, but they have quite a lot of name brand products as well, & as far as I could tell, they seem to carry name brands on a lot of the products I prefer. Just a couple of examples; Flavor Blasted Goldfish, Laughing Cow cheese, Lipton Iced Tea, McCormick Spices & Seasoning envelopes. There were more, but theres just a few off the top of my head. Ill definitely be frequenting this store!

Dirty and doesnt have all the shelves stocked. So bad there has to be an armed guard at all times. This is not good. The best thing about this place was being able to check out the carnival that was in town, Bartlebaugh Amusements. Other than that this establishment is not worth going to. It is handicapped accessible and smoke free.
