Went in last week and saw a lamp at dealer 16 that I commented was a nice piece. Tag said, Arts and crafts style slag glass lamp. I said to the woman behind the counter that it was a Bradley and Hubbard Lamp and I would be in this weekend to purchase it. Went in today and it was relabeled Bradley and Hubbard Lamp at almost double the price. Never going back.
Lots of good antiques.. fun times here. Good people
What a gem this place is amazing the way its set up very pretty.and the staff was so nice.i will visit again.
Looking for an antique for my roaring 20s party, good selection
I found some awesome things today. Bargained for good prices!
Expensive tacky junk. Unfriendly woman (Joanne) at counter said they didnt have a bathroom available even though there was a restroom sign. Told us to use the one at Wawa across the street. Things here are bscenely overpriced and ugly. Dont waste your time! Went here again by accident!! Still gross, nasty and insanely overpriced. Soooo gross!!
Love this place.Have found many items here. Lots of variety.
Awesome place overall. Had a few overpriced things but also had things for good deals
Really unfortunate experience. I purchased a $130 red glass serving piece, and in the process of packaging it was damaged by the employee. I did not know until I got home (they had taped the paper to the glass & the tape then took the color off of the piece leaving a sizable and obvious mark right in the center). I called the next day and was told I could only return it if I came that day or the next. I was not able to as I am over an hour away and this was the first week back to work after a the Christmast/NYE vacation which most of the world was on. No consideration was given despite the fact that this was their negligence completely and no fault of my own. So now I have a very expensive damaged good that they literally told me there is nothing we can do for you about. All factors considered there is really a lot more they could have done for their customer.
I like mantiques and collectibles. My wife likes oak furniture and decor. Red Bank Antique Center has 2 buildings full of items we both like. We visit often, and usually leave with a new treasure at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I go upstairs to a vendor (Dr. Bill) to purchase WW II Militaria. Great selection of Militaria at reasonable prices. He is a very knowledgeable person with Militaria and antiques and is certified.
Went into the store to purchase a dining Room set Made an offer with booth number 85 Asbury Park Antiques... was there for 30 minutes the women taken pictures and sending to Matt. We agreed on the price for the dining room set and chairs and delivery. The next he calls me and doubled the price... horrible its the old bait and switch stay far away bad business
Big selection. Something for everyone
So many amazing finds here! You can spend hours walking around and looking at everything. Prices are reasonable and always negotiable. The staff is friendly and always willing to help out.
Always got something to gawk over
Awesome place! You can find anything from beautiful paintings to jewelry, furniture etc.
My wife and I went in their store, the red building.. asking for help on what a couple of pieces of furniture would go for and give their opinion. The person sitting behind their plexiglass wall never took his eyes off his cell phone to even talk to us which was so rude. All he replied to another person was no furniture..not interested. Bad business management and attitude and to be on his phone ignoring customers in front of him. And by the way over the years my wife has spent 1000s of dollars in their 2 stores... so my review would be as follows... the place is an over priced yard sale with a lack of business experience and courtesy...
First visit. Tons of stuff wish they had a little more tools and such. But on the whole my wife and I spent a few hours walking around. She was able to add a few perfume bottles to her collection.
Super interesting and eclectic. They have a bunch of different antique buyers as well which gives it a poor mans antique roadshow feel. In a good way.
It was great went and got my rings polished from Jimmy this jeweler
Well on Google it says that theyre temporarily closed so I called. They are open all right but the BATHROOM was not. As it was explained to me it has something to do with the Covid pandemic. Which is ridiculous! How can a business be open but not permitted to have their clientele use a restroom? Very annoying to have to walk to the Wawa to go to the bathroom
I love this place! Its packed with goodies so its just my style. Very helpful salespeople who genuinely seem to care about the customers and their shop.
Sorry but I cant even count on one hand how many dealers have, good, fine displays. It just became worse with piles and piles of junk. We have been popping in and out of here for many years and it was always a bit of a mess but it got a lot worse. The place up the block across the street, a big mall, got so much better! We hadnt gone in a few years and were shocked last year. Cross the street and go not even half way up the block if you want quality antiques. Great finds there. This place has to have a major re-haul. We are still mourning the loss of the Monmouth Center. Was torn down for West Elm.
Actually Zero Stars, But The Format Does Not Allow It. Large Store With Even Larger Prices. Wanted To Make An Offer On An Item, Rude Woman At Counter Did Not Even Want To Listen To It. Price Haggling Is Standard Procedure In Vintage/Antique Stores, But Apparently No One Told Her. My First Visit Is Also My Last. Plenty Of Other Vintage Stores Out There, This One Is Best Avoided.
I’ve been to many antique stores, flea markets, and barns sales. This place was grossly overpriced. I noticed they also sell on eBay and Etsy which makes sense why they want top dollar for everything here. It’s a shame how much inventory they have here. A lot of piles to sort through which I don’t mind. Although I walked out of here empty handed. Didn’t see much that stood out to me especially not for the prices. Most likely will not be coming back here.
Great varied selections of Antiques & Collectibles! Friendly people in each of 70 booths too!+FREE PARKING ON BOTH WEST FRONT ST & NORTH BRIDGE AVEas well as OFF STREET PARKING in rear of BUILDING III next to loading dock. During bad weather we also have the first two floors of the parking garage behind West Elm located next to our second store called Building IIlocated at 195 West Front St, Red Bank, NJ 07701
All vendors are pretty nice. Guys at front desk always help to carry my items out to the car if I have more than one box. Some really interesting finds. if you are looking for green or pink milk glass !
I am only giving it a low rating because of the attitude of one vendor.
Fun place but pricey
They have a nice selection of antiques and collectables here to check out
Good sized antiques mall. Not too overstocked to the point you cant find anything.
Interesting place to browse. Clean, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff.
Still worth checking out but only a shadow of what it once was. The top floor is now half empty. More like a flea market than an antique center.
I went into this Lovely Antique Center and found some really pretty things. Then I found that there is another building II, which I quickly went to as well. I found the staff to be overwhelmingly nice and helpful and talkative about their treasures. I only have (1) Negative thing to say. The woman who owns the Booth #20 is rude, brash, and very curt via phone. I called to see about a piece in which I looked at and this woman answered the phone and was very pushy and seemed to not care about what I was asking. Not only did she talk in a demeaning manor, but she was just down right unpleasant. Im a firm believer in not one rotten apple spoils the bunch. Ill visit this place again, but rest assured, Ill be skipping her booth each time.
This shop has an amazing selection of items, because their prices are out of this world. Most of the vendors are priced at or above Etsy/eBay numbers. Bottlebrush trees for $15. Tabletop bowmolds for $30. Plastic lunchboxes for $25. They have a lot, and its beautiful, but I wont be going back. Its a beautiful museum. Great for holiday decor, jewelry, vintage housewares if you arent concerned with cost.
Dont waste your time coming here. If you want way over priced broken junk and staff with a very sour attitude (we asked for directions because we are tourist to the area and were told theres the door). We left a) because what their selling isnt desirable and b) the staff didnt understand the meaning of customer service. I usually never right bad reviews but this place was so awful I wanted to make sure no one else wasted their time coming here.
Great place to shop... Wide variety
Dealers not willing to work with me on prices. Over priced merch better deals elsewhere. Wont go back
Awesome place never know what treasures you will find
REALLY gone DOWNHILL: just awful! Antique name should come out of business name. Worst Ive seen in 20-years.
No matter what your looking for, you can always find it here
Funky almost like shopping at a flea market. You can find anything in the world here!
Friendly service. big variety of treasures!
Two floors and a LOT of stuff to go through! You can smell it as soon as you enter the building which us quite old itself. Some of the dealers are waaay overpriced and if they arent there, haggling can be a problem. Some dont have all of their items priced again causing a problem if it is something u want.
Lots of good stuff to hunt for (and a lot of garbage).
Nice place for antiques. Nothing special.
Not what it use to be.. Dealers still have things there from 3-4 years ago. Hardly anything new and they seemed to have raise their prices. mostly will not be going back
Wish I had more time to really see everything, a blast from the past. Need to go back to go upstairs to see what treasures are there
Friendly quiet
Love looking here, never know what you might find
Huge antique center. Good selection.
Great selection of quality antiques, along with fair pricing.
There is nothing wrong with doing paperwork old school.
Great place to find a present from the past!
Always a good treasure hunt
I phoned and asked if anyone was interested in purchasing a Bisque doll from the turn of the century. The lady that answered was so rude! She basically mumbled, went back and fourth with her nonsense telling me they dont bring any money these days.I will never do business with them.Rude and unfriendly!
If youre looking for antiques in New Jersey, stop by this area. Plenty of places to shop.
Very large selection of vintage dolls, furniture, coins, glass you name it they have it.
Lots to see but small items more than furniture
The owner is a piece of crap! watch his bookwork!
Great people!
Great antiques
You can find couples of real pieces
Decent selection
Wonderful, huge variety
Love it
