This place it wonderful. I get all my appliances there. It’s the same price, or less than Home Depot since the price INCLUDES delivery, taking away the old one, and professional installation. They service what they sell. Love this place

The woman was short on the phone and seemed to not want to help. I said our LG washer isnt working and she said call LG, she didnt even seem interested in selling us a new washer and just wanted off the phone. They sell LG too...we dont look at LG edit: I saw your reply and glad you took notice, we are going to buy a washer and dryer somewhere and if not for that woman on the phone it would have been business with you. Thanks for the response.

What a great company!! Been around since 1939! Cant beat that.They showed up when they said they would. The guy was completely knowledgeable, knew what the problem was (gas dryer not heating up). Fixed it.Great company!

Our washing machine stopped working and we called Better Housekeeping. I spoke with a very responsive service rep who explained the process and scheduled a service call for the very next morning. The service repairman showed up bright and early, masked with shoe covers. He quickly assessed the problem, had the part with him that he immediately installed and then was on his way. It was SO easy and I can’t thank BH service enough for their professionalism and high standard of service!

I purchased this Viking Double Wall oven from Better Housekeeping. As you can see the bottom door fell off and damaged my custom cabinets on the first use, Labor Day Weekend. These pictures were taken today, November 11th, 2019. As you can see it is still not fixed. As you and I know, Better Housekeeping does not manufacturer this Viking oven but they did sell it to me so they are my point of contact in trying to get it replaced. Well, that is why they deserve one star. Following up, transparency and just communicating with the person who purchased this product from them, is nonexistent. With that said, buyer beware, this is a small shop so they have no one to answer too.

Having been so impressed by the professionalism and expertise of Elizabeth Rice at the Better Housekeeping shop, I felt compelled to write my first review! From beginning to end, Elizabeth was so helpful with every aspect of the selection, purchase and installation of the new Bosch dishwasher I purchased for my daughter’s household for Christmas! It is rare these days to meet folks who are not only extremely knowledgeable in their field, but who are also just plain pleasant and patient with those customers like me that have hundreds of questions and concerns! I would gladly recommend this store to anyone looking for new appliances!

Upon placing my order, he scheduled me on the spot for delivery and installation. I received a phone call 30 minutes before the technician was scheduled to arrive. Keith (the technician) was kind, *clean*, quick, thorough and answered any questions I had - he was also wonderful with my pup :). He arrived first and began uninstalling - then just as he finished, the two delivery men arrived in perfect timing. The process was absolutely seamless. I felt comfortable and confident that I received the highest quality appliances, that were properly and professionally installed, all at the best possible prices available! I wont go anywhere else!

This place is the absolute best! During the COVID quarantine, both my microwave and dishwasher broke down on me. This isnt enjoyable under normal circumstances, let alone these. I spoke with Mike at Better Housekeeping and he was able to guide me, by phone, through the selections needed and within days had a team in my home for the project. The team worked quickly and was very mindful of social distancing and safety precautions. Mike even helped after the fact locate and additional rebate for the appliances. When its hard to find silver lining in things, it was refreshing to get a very personal and very helpful experience. While I dont want things to breakdown, in the future when they do, Better Housekeeping will be my first call!

There are plenty of appliance stores in Monmouth County, but save yourself the time and hassle, and use The Better Housekeeping Shop, in Red Bank. Ive purchased many appliances from them over the past 20+ years, and theyve always shown me that theyre committed to helping and satisfying their customers. Brian is the salesperson that I have worked with over the years, and you will NOT find a more sincere, hardworking salesperson, than him. Hes committed in every way to do the best job he can, in order to help you. This business has been around for a long time, and the integrity of the company, as well as their employees is exceptional.

I LOVE Better Housekeeping! Its all about the honesty and integrity. From the showroom to delivery and installation. I have purchased many appliances for several houses. I always feel confident and satisfied. They listen, and sell you what you want/need....not merchandise they need to move. And on the few occasions when something has needed a tweak, their service team is exceptional. I wouldnt shop anywhere else. Never a headache. Never a hassle.

Great place, from the salesmen to the installers! I had to replace my washer, and the salesmen were not pushy, they didnt try and talk me into something I didnt need. I purchased a washer at a great price! The two installers; Manny & Eugene were unbelievable, they went above and beyond when removing my old washer, and installing the new one. They ran into several issues when trying to remove my old washer, but continued, and resolved each issue. During this time, these two gentlemen maintained a great & positive attitude. They really cared about making sure everything was good before leaving. When the time comes, and I know it will, this will be the place I purchase all my appliances. Great business! Trish

Our refrigerator broke over the weekend and we needed a new one. I spoke to Mike Belforti I told him the model we had, he gave us a few options, and had the new refrigerator delivered the next day. To our surprise, Better Housekeeping’s price is competitive if not better than the big box stores and his customer service exceeds any other appliance store we’ve used. We couldn’t be happier

Called to order a $1,400 dryer, and they gave a terrible attitude on the phone, complaining that I called too close to closing time. Dont worry, Ill go with someone who wants my money :)

Exceptional service and products!

I had never heard of Better Housekeeping prior to searching for a washer and dryer and receiving recommendations from friends. I called SO MANY PLACES, incl. Costco, Home Depot and smaller, local stores closer to me in Pt. Pl. before calling BH. I am SO thankful I did! The salesman I worked with named Brian was knowledgeable, responsive, helpful and flexible. Prices were excellent, too! The units were delivered yesterday and the delivery/installation guys, Anthony and Ted were both an extesnion of the great customer service I had already been receiving through BH. I would recommend BH to anyone looking for competitive prices, fantastic customer service and who feels strongly about supoirting smaller, local businesses. TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!

Nothing good to say about this place. Paid a small fortune for a blue star range here which failed 1.5 year in and was offered zero help outside their expensive service call. No need to use them. Salesman only, no customer service.
