Red bank diner is one of my favorite spots in town for breakfast. The food is consistently delicious and my order is always made exactly to my liking. The delivery driver, Michael, is always very prompt and cordial.
Breakfast & Lunch only. Excellent service, always. Standouts are the their salads in general, BBQ ribs, French dip roast beef sandwich. Chicken salad, egg salad platters and sandwiches. Diner basics are very good, burgers, pancakes are exceptional, eggs, grilled cheese, fries, onion rings. They make their own cheesecake👍Owner always present and checks in with customers.During the covid: I try to always be outside but the dining room, counter are open. I am happy to report they use real silverware & dishes outside. Especially helpful when it’s windy, as it is today.Areas that need some attention. Omelets are sometimes overdone.Coffee is always fresh.Bathrooms are clean👍.Parking is easy and free this part of town👍. A big deal if you know Red Bank.Most of their business now appears to be take out and delivery. Owner has been improving the dining room. I am a longtime customer, first review with current owner.
We waited to be seated for a good 7 min, no one even acknowledging our presence. Then, seeing that service would be slow, we ordered immediately. It took 25 min to get our order. To say the least, service was slow. The food is ok. We didn’t order anything very sophisticated. ;-). It’s a diner. We were hoping for faster service. The food order came missing parts of it. We had to wait another 15 min for it to arrive.
The Red Bank Diner serves up a great breakfast with hearty portions! Super tasty omelettes, delicious French Toast, and a decent cup of coffee. The staff is very friendly and welcoming which makes this diner a favorite.
I order from the red bank dinner almost everyday & I have no complaints! Everything is perfect and the arrival time is not a problem either I even have a good rapport with the delivery driver great guy !

My breakfast was a three egg omelette, fruit, rye toast, and coffee. Others had french fries or home fries instead of fruit. We ate outside and we were all satisfied.

The service was fast, our meals came out a little late due to us ordering lunch during breakfast time around 11. The meals were average (Buffalo chicken panini, French toast, and a chicken caesar salad). All and all the experience was friendly, the food was average, the wait for me personally was long but seemed abnormal.

Had steak and eggs on my mind and was lucky to walk into the perfect place. Steak melted in my mouth, perfectly cooked medium. Great place super nice owner. Highly recommended and very clean!!!

I have been wanting to go to this place for a while but parking can be tricky ( no parking lot). I finally lucked out and parked right in front. Nice place place, a lot of etched mirrors & wood working, service is good. I ordered the Belgian waffles w/ Turkey bacon & homefries, very good. I dont believe I have ever had freshly made waffles. Stop in for a bite, something for everyone.
I like this diner a lot. They have a wide selection and great lunch specials during the week - I recommend the pork chops if you happen to come across them. Big and delicious omelettes. The staff is personable. Great spot that I’d recommend anyone give a try!

We go there every Mothers Day, usually very good but this time unfortunately not too good. My Reuben very fatty/grisly corned beef. Someone else had turkey sandwich that looked very good. My daughter had no luck wrap that also not very good. Server very nice, tried to accommodate our large party as best she could.

Ordered off DoorDash, the food was cold. Pancakes were like bread.. bacon was yellow. Breakfast potatoes were mushy and disgusting.. spent so much money for this nasty food. Never again.
Absolutely love their food! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Everyone treats you as if your the president when coming in. Im an African American man, and I can tell you, the staff nor its customers made me feel out of place. So I would recommend them to anyone

This diner used to be good. New owner now. My favorite salad came twice lacking ingredients that were supposed to be in it, the really good waitress that was there for a long time was fired, it takes forever to get a check now. No wonder they had to cut their hours back and start closing after lunch.
Excellent service and great food! Got a cheese burger with Swiss cooked medium rare and it was perfect! Cheese cake was creamy and delicious! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive and it was only her first week. I recommend this diner to anyone in the Red Bank area!
I really enjoy the staff here! They are very considerate and welcoming. Once I was picking up food and forgot my toast and the woman ran after me in the rain to make sure I had it. I will never forget this. Awesome people!
They advertise on Fido for dogs that they have four tables open but do not stipulate as other restaurants do that it was only fir outdoors. We were turned away and what false advertising

Just read the previous comment and was in complete shock of what I read. I just had lunch at the diner and asked Billy ( new owner) if he knew the person who wrote this comment and not to my surprise he Told me that it is the friend of the fired waitress. I have been coming to the diner for many years and can assure u that it is finally in good hands. If Billy fired anyone from the shop He must have had probable cause judging by how professional the shop runs now. Also asked him why he’s closing at 4 pm now and the response was that he’s limiting the opening hours so he can better handle the breakfast and lunch which is his main target. So all I have to say is that it is sad to see how low people can get by trying to harm hard working professionals and my advise to the fired waitress was going to be to get a life but I guess I should say go get a job
First time here - came for breakfast. The waitress was awesome. Very attentive and nice. Coffee was excellent.We both ordered omelettes and they both came out dry and with little flavor. Not impressed. I am going to give it one more try before i move on.

This is another one of our favorite restaurants in Red Bank. Very clean, friendly servers, and a menu with a lot of choices. There is something for everyone here. Great desserts, too. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Standard diner, but I prefer this one to the Broadway Diner closer to downtown RB. Though this one is slightly less charming, in that diner-y way, its cleaner, the service is friendlier, & the food is less greasy. Lots to choose from, decent diner ambiance, & a killer breakfast menu. Theres also plenty of parking in this area of RB, a little but removed from downtown. Great for breakfast (or breakfast for dinner!) &, I think, particularly good for midday business meetings over lunch.
This is a wonderful diner in the heart of Red Bank. I have been going there since I moved to the area last year.The food is excellent with a large variety to choose from. I compared their prices against a near by competitor and the Red Bank diner beats them.Service is fast.The staff are always friendly and accommodating.I highly recommend this business to people.

Came here after a quick search of diners in the area after we discovered our hotels breakfast was a small to-go snack that were all gone by the time we got to the lobby. It was very quaint and the staff were very friendly and nice. We had a young waitress who was very prompt, on top of things, and super friendly and took my sarcastic friends attitude in jest. She took great pride in her work, something you dont see much of anymore in the food service industry. Came here on a whim with some friends and enjoyed every aspect of it. If Im ever in the area again, Ill have to come here for breakfast again. Didnt order a meal with fries, but upon tasting a friends fries, I regret not getting any. They were very well prepared. We left a somewhat hefty tip in hopes it would show our appreciation for all that the staff there, and especially our waitress, had done for us on our visit.
Very upset with my order. Usually its good but my toast was burnt. Food was cold. And my eggs were not what I ordered. I expect better then this. I figure this would be easy to eat since having my wisdom teeth removed but its to painful. Very upset with this.
One of the best restaurants in Red Bank! I know there are many higher-end restaurants in Red Bank but dont be fooled by them! The Red Bank Diner is my go to Red Bank breakfast and lunch meeting spot.

Overpriced. Frozen broccoli tough and hard. Ordered burger medium rare and it came out medium well, with there being only 3 tables in entire diner. Brown avocado. Corn beef very tough. Given check while I was still eating my meal even though I had wanted a tea and perhaps a small dessert. Only thing good about the two meals was the sweet potato fries. I will not be back.

My mother and I ended up here on a simple Wednesday night after vigorously searching the internet for something new but ending up with our original suggestion and were only very mildly disappointed with my moms bland bowl French onion soup but still hot, hearty, and cheesy. I, on the other hand was over the moon, (and under the sea) for my cup of Manhattan clam chowder with its soft yet hearty chunks of clams and potatoes. The best part was both soups only cost $5 together total and filled us up plenty. The real star of the of our small meal was the zucchini sticks with soft flavorful veggie on the inside and crunchy fry like outside; not to mention the not overpowering dipping marinara sauce I usual avoid elsewhere. The real star of out experience was the incredibly friendly and attentive Carmen our waitress. I myself used to go every Wed around 930 after a specific mtg I attended weekly and was never disappointed. If u are ever looking for a unique breakfast sandwich I highly recommend the Jodi~scrambled eggs in between what would be a normal grilled cheese but now better. Dress it up with onions or peppers or keep it simple it is sure to satisfy.
