Ugh, I cannot stress how perfect and well-stocked this metaphysical store is! The two people working at the tills were pleasant and informative. I enjoyed the fact they added the descriptions of the stones purpose. The tarot selection could expand, but the basics are there for beginners to advanced readers. I enjoyed the fact they have more than the five typical books you see everywhere… they carry a variety of herbs; of course, expansion is something to consider.

I wandered in with a friend yesterday and felt a sense of peace and calm just walking in the door. The store is spacious and you can see all of the beautiful art, crystals and more displayed in a most uncluttered way,The candle selection is meaningful and high quality, all of the sage displayed beautifully, crystals organized and clear pricing and explanations of each benefit.My friend purchased a lovely singing bowl and I gathered a variety of candles, crystals and chakra symbol painted dish. I will travel from exit 17 on the parkway to come back here.The staff are fantastic too :)

Love this aptly-named store. The feel of an earth spirit pervades the place. :) First of all, its great for out-of-the-ordinary cards and gifts, especially for anyone connected to nature. Nice array of incense and candles, crystals and stones, jewelry, wall hangings, books, meditation CDs, tarot decks, figurines.Ive also availed myself of the 10-minute readings with different readers. Each one brought out food for thought that I could relate to whatever was going on in my life at the time.Ive found all staff to be always professional and friendly, no exceptions. This is a favorite shop of mine, as well as a number of my friends.

Earth Spirit is such a great place! The people who work there give such good vibes. A really nice girl working there helped me pick out some crystals and incense! The selection of crystals is amazing, they always have new selections every week. I would definitely recommend Earth Spirit to anyone who enjoys spirituality and good vibes!

Right when you walk in there is positive energy all around! Huge assortment of tumble stones. Very kind people work there. Very knowledgeable. Never felt pressured or walked around the store making me feel like I have to purchase something. Recommend for all.

To preface - I have been to this store twice, and the first time was an okay experience. I came in with my oldest sister. Nothing bad happened, but we also weren’t greeted upon coming in, we weren’t offered any help, and both my older sister and I agreed that it was just an unwelcoming vibe despite the fact that the store had very nice things inside. Bear with me, it’s a long review but 100% worth reading.The second time I went into this store was with my younger sister, and we were accused of stealing a ring. I, myself, am an employee for a small local business. Though I would never steal period, I felt especially offended that someone would ever accuse me of stealing from another establishment like this when I know first hand how competitive and difficult business can be. The ring most likely wasn’t expensive (or maybe it was because everything in this store is overpriced), and if I had really wanted it, I could’ve easily paid for it. My younger decided the ring wasn’t really worth the money she was willing to spend in this man’s store because it didn’t fit her finger the way she liked. Even though he was standing there when she said that out loud to me, he still accused us of taking the ring. There was already another group of girls in the store when my sister and I came in. They were also looking at the rings before we were. When the owner claimed a ring was missing, he asked the older group of girls first if they were holding on to a ring. When they said no, he didn’t question them further. He then came to my sister and I and asked us the same question; however, when we said no, he proceeded to accuse us and made us leave the store. I am 17, but look much younger. I have social anxiety, and it is clear upon approaching me that I am not a very outspoken person. My sister is a minor as well. I feel that this man was taking advantage of his authority over two young girls, as he did not tell the older group of girls (who looked to be about in their early 20s) to leave. I wish I had stood up for myself, but I felt afraid, as this man was being very rude and condescending towards my sister and I. I have read other reviews as well that have said the staff here is very condescending. I wish I would have listened. I realize now though that it truly hurt him and his business more than it hurt us, as we were two potential paying costumers. Due to this horrible experience, not only did he lose costumers, but he also gets to have bad reviews written about his business. He has signs everywhere about karma, but what he clearly fails to realize is that he is not immune to it. If he really felt we stole something, I doubt that he would have just let us leave without contacting the police. He could also check his cameras, which he refused to do. I’d actually like to take this time to say thank you to the owner for teaching me a lesson about not letting an ageist, older male take advantage of me because I come off as someone who wouldn’t stand up for myself or give you a hard time like the three older women (that you for some reason didn’t make leave your store) probably would have. Next time, although I’m sure there won’t be a next time because i’m not a thief, I’ll be sure to speak up.

Horrible. service there was terrible, guy working the register accused us of stealing, didn’t even talk to the other three girls in the store, kicked us out without even checking us and won’t even check his cameras. never going there again and neither should you. i will personally give you many other great shops to go to. i wish i couldn’t even give them one star.just had the worst experience and will never be going back. i was there with my sister. there were three other girls in the store. they were all together. they went up to look at the rings before me and my sister. after they walked away. we walked up and i tried on two rings. one white crystal and one brown crystal ring. the rings did not fit my fingers so i couldnt even buy them if i wanted them anyway. as we were still walking around the store looking, the owner walked up to the group and asked if they were “holding a ring” they said no and he simply walked over to us. he said “we’re you two holding a ring?” mostly directed towards me since he was standing next to me as i tried them on and heard me say “i wish these fit my fingers.” i told him that we were not holding any rings and held my hands out to show him. he then stood silent and then said “leave.” i said “why” and he told me that we had to leave his store. i told him he could check my bag and check everything and that we did not steal a ring. he then said “i cannot legally check your bag so you can leave or i will call the cops.” then we came home and had our mom call. she tried asking for the story and told him to check the cameras (if he even has them) and he wouldn’t say a word about the cameras and kept saying how there were seven rings and then six rings.

Earth spirit was a place I used to love with all my heart. I had been a loyal customer/client for five years. But with a change of ownership, so changes the store. I am not saying don’t go here or that Earth Spirit is bad as a whole. Just that I can no longer recommend it since the change of ownership. Although everyone else at Earth Spirit is wonderful and one bad egg shouldn’t ruin it, it sadly does when that bad egg is made owner. Between the new owner’s terrible customer service, phone, and communication skills, added with sales associates falsely accusing costumers, berating them, and verbally attacking them, and than acting like the customer is in the wrong (due to saying something about it, asking for proof or an explanation, trying to defend themself or being unable to return their rudeness and disrespect with anything other than a cordial attitude), I can no longer recommend this store with a good conscious to anyone in hopes no one else has to go through or have the negative experiences as I did there with the new owner and sales associate.

My friend and I went into the store looking for some crystal as we are just getting into them. We were looking around for a while picking small things up here and there. I was able to over hear the staff talking about my friend when I was standing right there. I was extremely uncomfortable in the store, not to mention how outrageously overpriced everything is. When I finally picked something up to pay they seemed shocked that I actually had money in the first place. I was about to hear the staff whispering right in front of me about the money I was paying with. I’ve been to the store probably over 5 times in the last month and even referee others.

When I walked into this place, I thought it was gonna be good but turns out everything was terrible. The service was bad and the man working at the register was so rude. Everything is overpriced and the crystals are fake. It made me want to cry. The guy at the register made me furious. And When I’m furious I tend to act up but I didn’t. He made me so uncomfortable too and I felt like his eyes were just watching me. Moral of the story don’t go to this store. The guy is a jerk.

I have been going in this store for YEARS and never had a bad experience. I see there is about 4 bad reviews all about one isolated incident, which i believe is unfair to the small business. They have beautiful jewelry, crystals, tapestry clothing and tons of other informative books and readings. The workers have also been nothing but nice and helpful to me, my mom, and all of my friends I’ve brought in.

The energy in this place is perfection. They have everything you could possibly need for any kind of magic. One of the things I love about this shop is that they give you a print out of the name and properties of every single crystal item they sell. Such a positive experience here. I generally walked past it, and they always have incense available for free to take. Eventually I went in and bought a beautiful blanket for a great price. After sometime, I decided I needed to solve a personal issue and the owner was so kind, understanding, I formative and just radiates good energy. I am so happy I took his advice because already I have foundation myself more calm, peaceful even, absolutely less stress - not to be redundant. They have an excellent selection of a multitude of items. If you ask for help, he will guide you without judgement and really so his best to give you the knowledge and maybe peace of mind (which in my case was absolutely the truth). This stuff isnt bogus… he has all the tools its how you decide to use them, but with the right guidance I have found them to help me so much. I am not racing to work or getting mad at other drivers (yes I cleaned my car lol but its been great!). Sorry for lengthy review but so yourself a favor; stop in take a look and ask questions.

The shop seems small, but they have everything! Great stones, lots of books, and tons of candles and incense. Ive also had two readings done by Joycelin, who truly is sensitive and connected. The person who is typically in the shop (I think its Joycelins son?) knows his inventory well and can help guide you to what you need. Definitely go, take your time, and find something that will bring you peace and understanding.

Have been going to earth spirit for maaaaaany many years. Always clean, smells delightful, the staff is sweet and helpful, and my pentacle necklaces always wind up coming from here. So happy to have relocated from north jersey down to this local area so that I can come even more often and help support such a rare gem of a wonderful business.

I had been to the shop in person several years ago, where my mom and I both had incredibly accurate readings. (I dont know the name of the reader, though!)Given the uncertainty of life right now, I thought it was time to have another reading. I booked with Wendy and had a 30-minute reading by phone last night. Wendy was kind and pleasant, genuinely sweet. She used both Tarot cards and her own intuition to read me. Of course, time will tell how accurate this reading was, but I walked away seeing it-- at minimum-- a positive and uplifting conversation (which we all need right now). She helped give me confidence in several areas of my life and therefore was well worth her fee. Thank you, Wendy, for the insight and support during a time when we all can use it!

Very good occult supply store. Good, helpful workers as well. I particularly enjoy how cheap their incense prices are. They also have some of those lesser common magical tools and ingredients you wont find at a place like East Meets West like mugwort and holy water available. Nice crystal selection too.

This place was alright a lot of the stuff was very expensive especially the bracelets I bought a lot of candles and they lost scent almost immediately very bad candles and the customer service was not good and not welcoming at all.

This is an awesome new age store right here in red bank! I have purchased meditation candles, incense and some really helpful stones here over the years. The gentleman owners are really nice and Ive also gotten a reading done here before, eerily accurate.Also they have a great selection of books, not necessarily all magical but all entertaining.

I liked going to this place but last time I went I found a spray I was interested in buying and it was the last of its type, but it was clearly used. So I asked if they have any more in stock. The guy at the register said its not used but it clearly was, as the bottle had a bit off the top missing compared to the other sprays of the same brand, and the cap had droplets. So I ask if/when they will have more in stock and his response was if you dont like it, dont buy it. That simple. And he kept saying it. I checked the companys website and he then he tells me the they were going out of business and they clearly werent! Liar and terrible customer service.WOW! This place has questioned my sanity and mental capacity! Confused with another store?? I know exactly what store I was in! AND the guy was BEHIND THE COUNTER! Who would pretend to be an associate?? How can I confuse a customer as an associate?!? It was the SAME GUY I AT THE REGISTER THE LAST TWO TIMES I WAS THERE! He also gave me attitude the first time I was there and I shrugged it off! Welp, thats one star off and I WILL NEVER BE BACK! There is a BETTER (AND CHEAPER) PLACE IN NEW BRUNSWICK! AND NO I DID NOT CONFUSE THAT PLACE WITH THIS ONE!

Small, but worth a visit if youre looking for something different to do

Went to this place a few months ago. I saw one of the famous or popular psychics there. She spent my paid hour talking about herself and her own past life. She was completely wrong on everything she said too. And when I told her I was legally blind she said to me I knew that, I picked up on that right away. As if it was some metaphysical miracle that she knew this information AFTER I had to explain why I could not see what she was holding up at a normal sighted persons distance away. Its not psychic phenomenon to give information that I just gave to you and act like its a psychic miracle. I tell my friends about her all the time and warn them never to get a reading done unless you want to hear all about her life. Maybe the others arent as bad? Maybe... The rest of the shop is great and they have awesome selections. As for the psychics... your better off playing with a magic 8 ball. I wish I could get my money back. But at least I can write my lil review and warn others. Stick to the merchandise and refrain from wasting hard earned money on readings here.

This is my go-to for all my spiritual supplies and has been since I was a little girl. The staff and owners are so nice, the entire vibe of the store is welcoming! I bring all my friends from out of town here to peruse the cards and books. Great selection.

I’m not very into new age cultures but my best friend was interested in learning about some spiritual practices. We visited here for the first time over a year ago and have been back a few more times (when we needed items).When walking into this store, an immediate sense of calm comes over me. The store has soft music playing, and faint wisps of incense in the air.Here you can buy a multitude of products including crystals, incense, oils, music, books, cards, clothing, tarot cards, and jewelry, but the standouts are the books.The books cover many topics including chakras, healing, spirituality, angels, dreams, and tarot. All books are divided by topic, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for.In the event that you can’t find something or have other questions, the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

Great little shop. Good variety of stuff. The lady at the register was very nice and helpful. A little annoying to park there (metered street parking) but worth it.

Ive been to Earth Spirit a number of times and over all enjoy my time there. Sara is my favorite reader. She is really interesting. She doesnt let me get a word in but then I thought about it and she is right because she is to tell me, not me tell her. JoyceLyn is good as well and Ive had some other readings by other people I enjoyed. I enjoyed the workshops with Babara and group healing sessions with other psychics. Although I did have a bad experience with Chris as well. I just think he is short tempered or bipolar and I dont feel comfortable when he is in the store. Either way, Id still go back to see the others. I have purchased a lot in that store and Sara is a must see.

Store is fine but things tend to be overpriced. The vibes in the store are neither here nor there and the employees tend to be somewhat elitist. I will return only out of convenience because I live in the Red Bank area and it is the closest store for my practice.

Great selection of crystals, gemstones, books, gifts, incense, oils, etc. The owners are fantastic and helpful and mellow and I always feel super relaxed when I go in. The ONLY complaint, well not even complaint really just minor disappointment is that they dont habe the selection of dry herbs they once carried, but I underdtand why they stopped carrying them. Would love if they carried mugeort and astragalus root again though. All in all my favorite place to shop for metaphysical needs.

Wonderful selection, but drastically over priced. For example, a 40g piece of malachite that I can get elsewhere for $8, they wanted $46. Purple Kunzite (which I actually bought elsewhere at $11 for a lovely 3 x .5 pc), they wanted $23 for a tiny, almost colorless shard. I understand rent is high in the area and business is not the best, but I refuse to drastically overpay for stones and other items. Their statues, books, tarot and oracle decks are also more for the same exact items elsewhere. Not to mention that the staff hovers and is very nosey. They dont give a shopper privacy and personal space. The help also act like they are the guru of all things metaphysical, and act like they are teaching you. They dont bother to find out what level the shopper is at, but treat them like they are completely unfamiliar with the item and then get defense when they are called out on the erroneous information they are giving. The atmosphere is very open and bright, which is great if you like that feeling. But to me, there is no mystical, otherworldly feel to the place what-so-ever. I suggest taking a little bit of a farther drive South and you will find two great stores, much better than Earth Spirit.
