This young lady name is Holly, my experience began with a Manager by the name of Martha. I called this morning before taking that 35 minute drive to Redland had a fabric request which was placed on hold by Tina. Went to the fabric counter where Martha was helping another Customer I pulled my number and waited for my turn. I advised the Lady behind the counter I was there to pick up fabric placed on hold for me she asked the employee name I forgot the name but she told me it would be a 24hr hold. Martha never went to the hold area just peeped at a few things in a front basket and said Nope nothings there on hold. I was confused but choose a different pattern wasnt the one I wanted but didnt want to leave empty handed. So Martha began cutting my fabric and Caucasian women approach the counter and needed help So Martha stopped assisting me walked away without excusing herself or giving a valid reason for walking away to assist someone else when she was already in the middle of assisting me. When she walked away a couple of minutes went by this when Holley appeared behind the counter. I asked her her name she appeared shocked and confused so I explained my reason for asking which was if she knew about the fabric on hold she never told me her name she held her shirt up to let me read her name and then with a Condescending voice she then asked me for mines and I gave it to her without a hassle. Martha then appeared advised her she was helping me and was already cuttingI advised her that I didnt really like the way I was being treated why would someone tell me they would hold the fabric and not? Martha finally went to the back where material is held and brought back the one that I requested the hold for. As a Manager make every person feel Welcome also checked before you misinform your customer please, please check before giving out bad information. Place yourself in the Customer shoes you did offer a 20% discount that I appreciate but today is Tuesday I was entitled to the Senior discount on this day. My first time shopping here at Redlands Joann not a pleasant experience.

A large Joanne fabrics store!! Fairly well stocked even with COVID. STAFF are busy busy!! while tackling customers. Good selection.

This Joanns is well organized and clean, with helpful, easy to find staff. They stayed stocked through the pandemic and now regularly have what I need. Good selection in most fabric sections!

They never answer the phone and they never have enough cashiers. Waiting in line here is worse than waiting in line at Walmart. I wanted a specific fabric but in order to use the coupon I had to order for “pickup in store.” I ordered two different fabrics online for pick up in store 4 yards each. One came in 4 yards the other came in pieces, one in two yards and two separate yards. I can’t do anything with it since I needed them whole. They weren’t in pieces when I saw them in store. So now I have to once again travel back to the store to return the fabric and now I don’t have any for my event. So stupid. Just offer the coupons to everyone or if it’s not a continuous piece of fabric just say that it’s not available for pick up.

The manager, Martha, lacks customer service skills. She yelled at my Mom and didnt let her purchase the items she selected. My Mom was frightened by this interaction. The following week, my Mom returned to the store to speak to the manager, little did she know, Martha was the manager. The manger tried speaking over my Mom as my Mom was telling her how she felt about the way she was treated. My Mom is a frequent Joann customer, my Mom and other customers do not need to be treated like this especially when its easier to make purchases from Amazon. As a result of this experience, my Mom does not feel comfortable returning to the store. Were hoping no customer is ever treated as badly as my Mom was.

Folks are very nice and very willing to be of assistance. I enjoy every visit. And the sales are great as well.

Beautiful, BEST experience EVER.. I drove almost the whole day looking for a certain kind of fabric but when I almost gave up someone recommended Joannas fabric in Redlands. She told me they have everything you need for cheap. She was right. Customer service was excellent at Joanns. They had the fabric material I was looking for and in many colors. Just went there for some material for cooling neck scarves (i.e. Cool Snakes), so dont have much to report, other than they had what I wanted in a patriotic theme, already cut up & packaged. Im a adult man & havent sewn since I was a boy, so the rest is up to my wife. However, this store is huge, & has about everything youd need for sewing or crafting.

I love this store. No matter what town Im visiting I always stop at a Joann fabric. The only thing I didnt care for was standing in line for 15 minutes while the ONE cashier they had was just chit-chatting with every customer about every single item purchased. Other than that the store was clean, friendly employees and always great finds.

It was OK, prices are way too high for some seasonal items, so I didnt get what I had hoped for (even with the sales price). $80 for a Styrofoam skull. 😒

I gave it a three star not because of the store itself, but the LAZY cashiers! I have ever seen!!!! Ive watch snails move faster than these two girls.. There were 5 -6 customers waiting and one said she had to leave her register to go to the parking lot????? Then the other one started counting her change drawer as slow as molasses as if she was just learning how to count money... OMG then after 5-10 minutes the other one slowly walks in knowing she left all the customers waiting. They both need to move to a different department.

I love this store. Its always well stocked and clean. I usually spend way too much time here and spend way too much money. The employees have always been pleasant.

So the store is really nice so everything was really clean and easily found the only downside is their c collection as in seashells puka shells anything like a quality when it comes to wanting to make bracelets or anything like that was really lacking and that was kind of a major bummer for me having to go to another store and to be honest the workers werent super helpful I I dont really know whats worse being asked if you need help a hundred times because I think youre stealing or not being helped at all because they dont care tortoise or hare right lol

Joann Fabrics and Crafts is perfectly organized. All their products are easy to catch with your eyes and they have a lot of fabrics and crafting supplies. I think its a good place to shop if you need to bake, crochet, embroider, design clothes or make necklaces. Its a perfect to go place for your hobbies and passions.

I love going into their stores. The employees are very kind.

My wife found a bunch of cool Halloween fabrics on this last trip. Staff is super helpful.

Regardless of how busy or not busy this location is, checkout is snail-speed slow. Not really sure why that is. If youre wanting to run in quick to grab something, this is not the store for you.

No service in the art dept at all. Pushed the button and waited. Then another customer was waiting on same cage area to be opened and still no service.Last trip there I stood in line for about a half hour with one check out.You need to get it together.

Huge fan of JoAnn. I love the buy online, pick up in store. So convenient. The JoAnn app is not that great, it constantly does not recognize my login info. And then randomly deletes my cart. So I use the web based site. Besides those app issues, its not a problem with the store.I have never had any issues with the store. I choose JoAnn over any other store. Because the huge selection of fabric. Always has a sale on something, plus offers coupons as well. A lot of the times, Im stuck looking for a certain fabric but the associates are always so helpful. And I always spend too much time in store. But its ok, money is always well spent.

Joanns has just about every hobby covered for supplies! Theres a definite lack of assistance. I was over by the yarn and had to go back to the checkout counter to find somebody to release the nephew needles from an anti-theft device. On using the handicap electric cart I did find some of the Isles driving around the corners could be definitely wider as I did catch the cart on fixings and I noticed items were torn from someone else doing the same thing, so it wasnt just my driving! The cashier was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Love Joanns! Especially now that they are receiving stock back into the store after months of scarce product availability due to covid crisis. Not too happy with restrictions back on amount of customers allowed into store at one given time, but thats not the fault of Joanns, just the ineptness of our states governor who is not a Dr. or educated in infectious diseases and is not listening to our states top medical director who states that the current state of affairs is making matters worse for California. Open up our businesses and get our people back to work. We sewers are itching to get back to work without any snags!

The store seemed a little dirty and and the staff at the cutting table was a little on edge. Other than that, I love joanns and all their selections for arts and crafts. I can usuly find what I am looking for here.

Needed to get an oversized frame. They had a 27×40 in stock and a special on frames. Nice clean store with plenty of crafting supplies.

Reasonably helpful staff, checkout process is one long line until you get to the next open checker. Noticed drive up deliveries. Seems nice during these pandemic times.

I went in to buy a sewing macjine... I didnt know much. The gal helped me pick a nice Singer, a sewing machine table & other stuff.She helped with the app coupons.She got 2 guys to help take them to my car.Her customer service was above and beyond.

These ladies are working way, way, overtime.They are cutting fabric, back to back for the customers who have missed picking out fabrics by hand.I dont know how the checkers are able to keep their patience.The employees who are doing curbside delivery are keeping their smiles. The temperatures are high.Thank you all for making my day. I am so very happy to get back to my creating.

Some of the customers were kinda rude/ pushy but the employees were great and did what they could to mitigate the issues.

They only let a certain amount of people into the store at once. You have to have a mask to enter the store and then an employee has to let you out of the store. Its how they control their social distancing. The employees are accommodating and friendly even when some of the customers werent.

Restrictions on the number of people allowed inside and required masks made for a comfortable shopping experience. Inside line has spots marked on the floor so people are more aware of geting too close. One star off for not having spots on the ground marked for the line outside the store. Some people just cant tell when they are less than 6 feet.

Wow, I am definitely feeling the need to boycott this particular JoAnns location after seeing the Mothers Day employee message posted so visibly, rudely, and prominently on the door across from the public restroom in the Redlands location. Surely the manager needs some sensitivity training, as well as some managerial training in team building, respect of other employees, and how to create and foster a positive work environment. They also need some grammar lessons. Happy Mothers Day, JoAnns. This will be one year I go to Hobby Lobby to purchase my moms craft gift card. Have some respect and decency, and appreciation for the employees that make you money and keep your store open. Shameful.

Ok so this location overall is pretty good about keeping track of their stock. I have had only 1 order canceled. Which yes is irritating when it happens. But my closest location does it almost always.They used to call you to remind you to pick up an order before it was canceled. So although it should not be required of them I got used to it as a reminder. I placed an order last Thursday went on Monday to pick it up. The gentleman that takes care of curbside pickup is a little brash. First time I encountered him he raised his voice at me because I didnt have my order number. At that location I was not used to that. They simply asked for my first and last name. He insisted on an order number so I asked for a couple of minutes to look it up and that is when he raised his voice (borderline yelled) telling me next time I needed to have my order number.This past Monday he asks for my first and last name like the other employees do. But I was like, really. I came prepared with my order number because I did not want to get yelled at again 🙃 but anyhow he is now asking for name like the other employees. Comes out and tells me my order was canceled. Went back inside to double check. He comes back out and starts saying a sequence of numbers while looking at a paper. I automatically thought it was an order number so I look up my order. He repeats is but it doesnt match. He then says its a shipment number. I asked why was it shipped? He starts to explain that it shipped then completely changes to it was canceled so you can take care of it 1 of 2 ways. Order it online again or go within the store.If you are confused, so was I. He had a made up number that he even repeated for a shipment that did not take place because my order was canceled.I drove back home. Placed another order to replace the one that was canceled. Only to have it canceled because it was not in stock. So AMAZON it is for the win! Oh and days after my orders were canceled. They are still reflecting on my bank account 🥴

I got to take advantage of my discount in addition to finding what I needed to get on sale!! I really appreciated the woman who cut the fabric I needed. She gave me some great advice. 🙂

During COVID-19 I placed an online order for curb side pick up. While the online updates were a bit slow to update, the curbside experience was much better. The young lady assisting me was friendly and straight forward. She moved the line along pretty fast and got customers their order right away.

My order was messed up and the picture was not accurate what was posted online. Another item was out of stock apparently and no alternative was possible. I still had to go in the store which defeated the purpose of ordering for curb side pick up

I dont sew or craft so I had never had reason to shop at Joann Fabrics and Crafts. Now I have a little project so I went there. I needed a piece of flannel and WOW do they have a wonderful selection. I picked a very pretty design and then wandered around more of the store admiring other merchandise. Just when I thought I was ready to check out I saw a whole other flannel display and of course I found another pretty design. Yes I bought a piece of that also. (There were a 100 pretty designs...the hardest part was narrowing the choice). Btw, their flannel is all 40% off 😁 What a deal 😁

Not sure if this place received the diversity & inclusion memo. Catherine walked by and asked white gentleman if he needed help. When he told her he was being helped, she walked right past my husband and I. When my husband said we needed help, she told him his number would be called (we were the only people waiting with the man). When she called the next number 8, we said that was our number. She challenged us and told us our number was 9. Will not be going back to ANY Joanns.

Went for curb side pick up, called from car, rings they hang up. Call again, 25min on hold listening to bad music. Get out of the car, wait in line to get into the store for another 20min. Not happy!

Joann Fabrics is the best place for Christmas decorations; I brought a lovely wreath, ornaments and garland. It also has beautiful Christmas home gifts like mugs and plates and towels. And,of course, its a great place for fabrics and sewing accessories.

I usually head over to Michaels or Hobby Lobby for all my crafting needs and ignorantly thought Joanns was primarily fabrics and the like but boy was I wrong! I was pleasantly surprised that Joanns was chock full of just as many items and variety as Michaels and Hobby Lobby but with prices much much much lower and just as many coupons. Ended up scoring an intensely fragrant three wick candle for $4 originally $30!! Also was able to get all the Lion Brand yarn, shades and texture, that I needed for my Cheshire Cat hood and ended paying almost $20 less than what I would have paid at other craft stores! Not only craft supplies, but home decor and their fragrant oil section was half the price as others with twice as much amount offered. I will definitely be doing all my craft shopping needs at Joanns from now on! So thankful to have found a store with everything I need at a fraction of the price I would pay at other craft stores. Dont overlook this gem! Trust me. Your wallet and craft room will thank you!!!

This store has a wide variety of fabrics and crafting materials and tools for pretty near any application I can imagine. Im not into sewing or knitting, or anything like that. I went into this place for the first time with my girlfriend, and was surprised by the items they had in addition to all the fabrics. I found some leather working tools that will come in handy, and some other interesting things. It was a clean store and the people were great.
