Love this place, to have people show me how to work on own bike and use there specialty TOOLS is genius. Plus for a donation is money well spent to there organization to help people get there bicycles ready for there commute to work or recational. Also have many bikes for sale without the high bike shop prices.

My rating was in the hope of coming to the shop to find a bike for my granddaughter. I was so happy to learn of this place. Please open. Corona virus is a sham. 1.5 million people died of TB last year...no one wore a mask for that (no pandemic for that).

The RBB is a co-op like bicycle repair shop. It is a free community resource to learn how to maintain your own bike. Although they have limited hours it is worthy of your patronage. The volunteers are knowledgeable but they encourage you to do the work yourself. They suggest a donation for use of their tools/services, but no one is turned away.I took a friend down the shop and he was instructed how to true his own wheels. He not only left with a roadworthy bike, but also a sense of empowerment to boot. They have ample tools for a simple tune up or a complete tear down. They also have lots of used and some new parts. I recommend you take any parts you need with you, but they do have brake/shifter cables and those little ferrules available for a few dollars. If you want someplace to drop you bicycle off to be repaired by someone else, this isnt the place for you. If want to delve into the joys of bicycle repair and be part of this community resource then do drop in.

I had an old 10 speed that needed 2 new inner tubes, had both rim strips broken, and a bent derailleur, and yet in an hour Frank and Leroy walked me through fixing all of it, set me up with a spare tube and a metal bottle cage and only charged me $17.50. Couldnt be happier that I came here.

Redlands BikeBBQ was awesome! I went their to get a bike for college and they were very helpful. Its essentially a shop run by volunteers, who receive all their bikes and parts as donations and then repair and build bikes to sell for low prices! The best part is that its about DYI bike repair, and the volunteers teach you about how bikes work. When I went, the bike I wanted had a bit of a shifting issue, and the volunteer spent over a half an hour with me explaining how the system worked, and then had me repair it with his assistance. It was a great experience, and I got a great bike (trek Mt bike) for my purposes for only $80. Overall the staff member I had was a fantastic teacher and I think the concept is great!
