Got my first pair of glasses here. They had a huge number of options to choose from including designer brands. All the staff here are super friendly and awesome! I came in a couple months later after my glasses got stepped on and Archie and Taylor helped me work them back in place. Highly recommend target optical!

From my initial scheduling of an appointment to check in and then seeing the doctor, the experience was flawless. The staff are amazing and super patient (Archie is wonderful!) and oh my goodness, Dr. Vu is the BEST!! I really value Dr. Vu’s patience, his no-nonsense approach and the candid manner in which he communicates. I admit I was nervous. I’m averse to doctors in general and I don’t like anything or anyone near my eyes… but my vision has changed since turning 50 and readers just don’t cut it anymore. You will love this office, the entire experience is pleasant and everyone is very supportive. The young woman who taught me how to use contact lenses was a gem (I can’t recall her name)! If I had known how pleasant and painless this would be, I would have made my appointment a year ago!

10/10 definitely recommend!!I betrayed my optometrist of 10+ years & I have no regrets! Dr. Vu was so incredibly nice, knowledgeable and patient! My eyes are definitely difficult and I dreaded my exams in the past because I always felt like I was too complicated or my optometrist would get frustrated with me. Dr. Vu took his time and was so kind throughout the process. The staff in the front were also so nice and really helpful! I would recommend this place to everybody.

ARCHIE at Target Optical Redlands was amazing at customer service! Bought a pair of Raybans on a whim and he ensured it was the right for me (otherwise, I would just be buying it with no adjustments). Very personable that even my 9 year old said, Hes really friendly mom! Who would have thought that Target would have the best optician in town? I will bring my entire family to this optical shop from now on!

Dr. Vu was great.I had a really negative and frustrating experience filling my prescription. If you want to wait over 4 weeks for your glasses to arrive, this is the place to go! they will tell you theyre going to be ready in about two weeks, then they wont follow up. When you call back theyre going to tell you that the glasses are delayed and will arrive next week. When you call the next week, they will give you another reason as to why they arent ready and theyll tell you they will be ready again next week.It would have been great if you would have reached out to let me know about the delays instead of me calling and being put on hold.

This rating is of my experience of Dr. Vu.He did not do his job as the optometrist. We had end of day appointments and he clearly was in a rush to finish our session that he didn’t give us an opportunity to complete the paper work. We just went straight into the exams. The exams, at least for me, we’re rushed and not thorough as I have experienced at Kaiser with an actual ophthalmologist versus what I experienced here.As previous reviews have exclaimed in other sites, he has a temper about him. He tried to keep his impatience together but struggled. Sorry but as the patient we are going to have questions because our eye sight has changed. In my case I’m seeing double up close and having trouble with long distance vision as well. Unfortunately, we did not get to cover the troubles I was having because he simply took our previous glasses and said nothing is really different. He did do some quick and dirty version of the eye exam with some handheld lenses, which I have experienced in the past; however, that process has always come after doing the initial exam using the eye sight machine. He did not want to use that because my case wasn’t complicated as he exclaimed but that’s not true. I’ve never had the doctors by pass this step nor want to go over my patient history.In short, it appears that he still contends with anger issues and doesn’t tend to all patients similarly. He has become complacent and is by passing critical processes that are a requirement in this field. I hope Target reconsiders bringing in some other doctors because he is a liability to patients eye health. He’s not to be trusted.

The ladies here were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As they were repairing my frames they showed me flaws that I’ve missed in my lenses for almost a year and gave advice on how to resolve the issue. They were also a joy to interact with.

Great location. Optical store was super clean. Appreciated all the covid safety measures that they had in place. I was more than relieved to see that they were disinfecting glasses after you try them on. Made me feel safe to know I wouldn’t be placing something on my face full of germs. Staff was patient with all my questions and concerns. Frames and lenses were more than affordable. Would definitely recommend 100%.

Awesome customer service and a great doctor at this location. With everything going on with the virus; they are really cautious and courteous when it comes to interacting with their clients. I felt very safe, and came out of the experience feeling more knowledgeable about my eyes . Five stars for going above and beyond for me. I had a million questions and concerns, but the staff answered every one of them promptly. If they didn’t know the answer; it didn’t take them long to find out for me. Thank you Target Optical Redlands! I definitely will make this my go to spot for eyecare needs.

I’m so happy that our local target now has an optical . We have been using beaver and although I love that dr, these prices are far more reasonable. I also loved the collection they have. I’m so surprised that target has rayban. And my husband got an Oakley pair of sunglasses.Thank you target for adding an optical with knowledgeable and friendly employees

Doctor Jimmy is a really good doctor. we went to Hesperia to follow him after Sears close. We were really hoping to see him at this new location in Redlands since is closer to us but I guess the customer service here are just lazy that don’t want to their job and it was only one person inside not even busy.Doctor Jimmy 5 stars customer service at this new optical target location 0 stars. 👎🏼

What a great shopping experience. I was a little hesitant to buy glasses from a new location since I’ve been going to the same optical office for years. Just walking into the store and browsing I knew I was at the right place. They were very welcoming and have such a great selection of frames. The ladies at the Redlands location made my eyeglass shopping so easy. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very COVID safe. All items were accessible and neat. I definitely recommend target optical in Redlands

Beautiful new location! Went in to look at the glasses and the staff is so friendly and following covid guidelines to keep us all healthy. I might not be able to touch all the frames like I used to thanks to covid but the staff picked out some great pairs for me! Im love with my new glasses and the price buy one get the 2nd 40% off.
