What a showroom with wonderful furniture. The best place to find just what youre home is looking for. Warm, Cozy and inviting not just the store but the staff as well.
Sorry but I cant give a good review. Tried to shop local so phoned to order a specific fabric to match chairs we have. The lady I spoke to, who was working from home, said she would check pricing and get back to me the next day. She didnt. I phoned again and left a message, I never did get a return call. I have no idea why. So I took my business elsewhere. It shouldnt be so hard to shop local, but sadly they made it impossible.

Very attentive staff, Trisha is awesome. When you are looking for that perfect piece to compliment what you already what you have they are able to walk through the options with you. This will take time and several visits Im sure but our experience so far has been superb and Trisha is helping is very well. Love the feel of the local furniture store. I love supporting local businesses when they are good and this is a perfect example. This is not a large box store. And who really wants to go and be hounded at one of those. MyHome is a pleasant surprise amongst a bunch of cookie cutter furniture stores. Love this place, dont count out the small size.
Ordered new furniture for my living room. The quality is amazing and I know the furniture will last me much longer than others. A great long term investment!
Tamara was amazing. We needed help with a dining room table and chairs. We ended up buying additional sofa chairs, an area rug and coffee table. She showed us so many options. Fantastic service. I highly recommend MYHome to anyone looking for furniture. Go in and see Tamara. You wont be disappointed.

I made several inquiries about pricing on a new living room set for my apartment and none of my emails or phone calls were returned. I was really excited to get more information on the products I found on their website (they do have nice things!) but nobody is getting back to me after several attempts :(
Nice store, lots of unique pieces and selection, customer service was good and they offered lots of useful decorating/style ideas. I very much like that they are a locally owned company and they have lots of Canadian made products. We have bought couches and 2 bedrooms sets now - the price is slightly more than I found with the cheap generic big box stores, but its very easy to see that its higher quality made furniture.
I ordered a light on Black Friday from MYHome in Kanata Centrum. When I placed the order I was told it would be a week maybe two, I paid the deposit and left the store. Jump forward to four weeks and I still hadn’t heard from the sales associate, so I decided I’d call just to find out the status of the lamp. I was told by the women on the phone that “thank goodness I called because she forgot my name to go with my lamp, and that it had been in for weeks”. When I went in to collect the lamp I asked the women (who I assume is the manager) what would have happened if I had not called. I was told by this associate that this wouldn’t happened, and that I would have called eventually, as she proceeded to roll her eyes at me.No apologies for the confusion. Overall made me think twice about purchasing more furniture from them.
Ottawa has limited furniture offerings of quality and craftsmanship. MY Home comes through always when looking for pieces to make your room something special. While pricey, most pieces one would buy here should be viewed as investments. While in the past, there have been issues with delays, my pieces arrived on time and staff was prompt with all queries. Delivery options were flexible and the white glove service was good.This store does not offer mass produced furniture goods, so delivery times can exceed a few months. That said, it is worth the wait!I am pleased with my new purchase and MY Home will be a must visit when I look for future pieces for my home.
Buyer BEWARE. We experienced violations under the Consumer’s Protection Act. This is NOT a reputable or ethical establishment. We purchased a furniture warranty that MyHome knew couldn’t be honoured or registered as there was a longstanding issue between them and the carrier. The owner agreed to swap unsatisfactory chairs we purchased at no additional cost. Upon delivery of chairs, we were slapped with a significant bill. In addition to all this, customer service after the sale was terrible, no return calls or emails despite repeated attempts. We were patient and respectful with this business, but the warranty and chair issue was the last straw. Their communication with us was willfully deceitful and constituted fraudulent misrepresentation under the The Consumer Protection Act. We eventually resolved these issues with the owner. Our hope was that My Home would learn from this experience and change their practices. Based on recent reviews, that has not happened. We will NEVER do business with them again!
They have beautiful furniture but terrible customer service. I was told 8-12 weeks for a top quality leather chair I ordered. I ordered it at the end of December and we are now almost the end of April and I still have no chair. I called and left a message to be called back and my call was not returned. I called a week later and spoke to someone who looked into it and emailed me back to say their supplier was backed up and its looking like it will be more like 20 weeks vs. the 8-12 I was told at the time of purchase. Had I not called twice, I would not have been given an update. I can buy the same chair at Ormes.
Beware of extortionate prices! We’re shopping for a specific couch that MYHomes quoted us $15,000 for. We ended up finding the exact same couch at another retailer in the city for $5860 instead!! Needless to say, we won’t be returning or recommending MYHomes to any of our family and friends.

Most tables and chairs are made out of particle board (think ikea tables & chairs) with very little exception. If this is ok to you then you may really like the store as they do look quite nice. We are in the market for a high quality, sturdy, long lasting table so we chose leave the store.The staff were really friendly, the store was clean, nice and modern.I also cant speak for any of their other furniture, so this is an incomplete review.
A very frustrating and dissapointed experience for a nice furniture store, we wait over 4 months to get our furniture. As others have said bad costumer service with no return phone calls and no updates of you purchase at all. They said it will take 8 weeks but in reality it was 16 weeks!

Wondering? I made a return on October 13th - I had a purchase of 64.41$ that I did on Ocotber 11th. The lady at the cash at a hard time to process my visa return. I did not ask for the bill at the end of the transaction. It is now October 16th and the refund still does not reflect on my statement. Just wondering when I will get my refund?
Had a very frustrating experience trying to get MYHome to honour a warranty. Received the couch in August, reported staining in November. NINE MONTHS and many emails, telephone calls, and a couple of service visits to my home later, I finally got word that the replacement cushions are in. Will never purchase furniture from this place again.
Poor customer service. The order was delayed multiple times without the store ever contacting me. Twice when I called the store to find out the status of my order, no one returned my calls. A couple of times when I do speak to someone, the person was rude and impatient. I was told they dont know what is happening with my order and the owner is not in.
