If you enjoy really good quality meat and dont mind its high quality price, I completely recommend buying from this place.They sell a wide variety of animals like beef, lamb, bison, pork, turkey and crab but they also have sausage, brukhurst, pepperoni, jerky and meat steaks.They also offer custom meat service. When your livestock or game animals are ready to be enjoyed, the smokehouse will take care of it for you and prepare it how you want.

What a great find. The best local butcher Ive found yet. Excellent assortment of different fresh meats. Tons of smoked or processed meats too. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were fair. The whole place was clean throughout. I will be going here anytime I need high quality meats.

I love this place! I live in Portland and visit the Redmond/ Bend area three to four times a year. This is one of the places I never miss when in town. I love the pepperoni sticks, beef jerky and when they have it the smoked tuna is the best!

The prices are going to get you to keep coming back something different than the other butchers have and they have a monthly sale the first week of the month and something different every month and I love everything they sell

Do not order Filet Mignon. I ordered 2 filet mignon, which they cut and package behind the counter. Not until I got them out to cook did I see that it consisted o two 2oz of filet and 10 oz of gristle and fat (which I weighed our of interest). I paid $25.99 for more than 1/2 of the weight in fat and gristle. It was very disappointing since I had heard good things from friend who have been going for years, but had not purchased the Filet. Other items may be better. Unfortunately, to top off the experience, the small amount of filet was not all that great.It was a big disappointment.

We love this store. We love Jerky and most anything smoked...You have to make and take 5 minutes of your time to stop and try their snack pack mix... it consists of Jerry, pepperoni stick, summer sausage cheddar and white cheddar cheese...theyre cut into bite size pieces mixed together and vacuum packed in a variety of sizes...they also have a spicy snack mix with chili flakes mixed in... just cut the bag open, tilt and enjoy.....its the bomb. I promise..

We went in to buy prime rib for Christmas dinner. Both female workers were wearing their masks under their noses. The one other customer inside, whom they knew and were chatting with, was not wearing a mask at all. We waited several feet away from that customer and were never acknowledged. Then the employee whose mask was not covering her nose coughed while preparing the customers food. We decided we did not want to spend our money here.

I recently had half a beef cut and wrapped at at The smokehouse. I found that all of my top sirloin and my sirloin tip steaks were wrapped one per package and folded in half to make it look like there were two steaks in the package. in over forty years of having my meat cut and wrapped I have never come across this procedure. The instructions given were two steaks per package, evidently they cannot count that high. My ground beef instructions were one pound per package.I found that they vary between 1 and 1 and 1/2 pounds. This will be the first and last time I have any of my beef cut and wrapped by this company.

Sent my BF in to get some fillet mignon for our date night. We usually get our meat from a market on Bend but wanted to support local. We opened the package to find the worst cut of fillet I have ever seen. It was super fatty and tiny. The other cut was huge and fatty. I won’t be going back. After what the meat costs, I was furious. We won’t be going back.

Awesome selection of high quality meats available both frozen and fresh!!!! After 24 years of living in Central Oregon I can truly say you will not find meat like this anywhere else in town. The jerky is my favorite. They will custom cut and package your game kill or farm animal.

They were very helpful here, made it easy to pick up the half pig that we had ordered. Their stock is very large and very diverse, you dont have a hard time finding what you need!
