These guys are your ideal used car salesmen. They will tell you what ever they can to make you happy and get you to go sit down and run all the paper work and nothing will align with what they told you before. Tried to work with them twice because of a vehicle they had on their lot was exactly what we were looking for. Emailed back and forth got all the details from them, they gave us 2 different mileages, neither of which matched the pictures of the odometer (not the only false information/advertising they gave us). Then gave us the price which seemed like a hell of a deal, so I called to double check all the numbers from the emails (because of the previous miscommunication) and they verified everything. So we drive into town and test drive the vehicle and we’re ready to buy it. Get everything filled out to get approved and then magically the vehicle price goes up almost $3,000. Obviously the salesperson says it’s not his fault someone gave him the wrong info. You’d think they’d try to make it right by maybe meeting in the middle of the 12 different prices they told us but the exact opposite. Manager said they had no room to go down on the vehicles price no matter what happened with his salesman. Pretty much be ready for the ol wraparound with these guys. But hey they’ll give a fair price for trade in value if the managers dad wants the vehicle. 👌

Mike and Audrey were great with my truck. Mike handled the paperwork like a pro(quick and efficient). Audrey is new but learns quick. The two of them help me with a truck S&T Ford in Madras werent able to. Would not recommend S&T in Madras.

Best place youll go to. We were greated and helped as soon as our car door shut. We werent sure what we wanted. But everyone has a dream car.. We found out we got approved for a Subaru crosstrek XV. Everyones worries are how much payments are and car insurance. We were helped through the entire process, from beginning to the time we took our car home. Never thought Id have keys to my dream car. My wife and I bought a truck for $17,000+and have had nothing but problems with it in the 3 months Ive owned it. I got the warranty thankfully, but its been an so many problems and in the first 3 months of owning it. First it was an exhaust leak and wiring issues and then transmission going out. Now I know I should have had it checked out but when they told me they were trying to rebuild their their reputation I gave them a chance. Price should match the quality, especially when they tell you is a great vehicle. People work to hard to be swindled. We trusted them to sell us a good car like they said, but they didnt. Instead they just keep refering me to the warranty. What about the people who dont get the warranty? Is it just tough luck? I dont think taking back your product and freeing them of an ongoing problem that you sold them is to much to ask for. Please, you work to hard for your money to gamble on this place. There are so many better options out there

I went in to look at a truck and Kevin helped me. He made the experience of buying my first car from a dealer as easy as possible he was so helpful and patient cause being the first time I bought something he walked me trough it. Everything went perfect I would recommend Approved auto for anyone. Some reviews talk about how something was wrong with there vehicle and they would do nothing to help, I am guessing that was old management. Approved auto was recommended by a lady at my son school. So I decided to start there. Originally I told myself I was going to shop around. I ended up driving home a beautiful vehicle. Sales personal were so easy to talk to, and i really knew I was being heard. The whole experience was over the top. Stated the second we walked on the sales floor. My children were with me, they were given hot cocoa and balloons. It felt like I knew these guys for years, but yet they didnt push me. Horrible customer service. Was told one thing and then get another. Was looking for a car and they tried charging me $6000 for a rig they had posted online for $5000. So I decided not that one and kept looking. Then they tried selling me into something I didn’t want. After submitting my credit info I asked what kind of price range should I be looking at so I would know and never once got an answer. when asked about a down payment I said it depends on the car and I would prefer 0 down if possible. Yuridi responded to me with “$35 and you can get a bus pass with 0 down” I have the screen shots of our conversation to verify also. and that is not how any customer should be treated no matter the situation. Will never buy a car from them ever. Also will let anyone I know looking for a car of the experience I had and send them elsewhere

I bought a suv from here and i just love it. I havent had a single issue with it since the moment i drove it off the lot. The guys here did everything they could to get me the best deal possible and a low monthly payment thats just perfect for my budget. They did most of the work for me over the phone for 2 days before i ever even walked into their office. They for sure go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I give them 100+ stars not just 5.

They tried selling me a car for $14,000. Talked them down to $11,000. They took my trade in for $7,000. So one would think I owe $4,000 and I did. Stupid me, the total came to $7,000 after everything said and done right? Nope, with the trade in, its still a $14,000 car. I kept asking what model the car was and they couldnt tell me. The engine size difference is what screwed me and that is the information they with held upon request. Along with smooth talking with numbers. So long story short, I essentially paid $14,000 for a car that blue books at $4700. EFF this place and will never go back!!

Waist of my time!!!! Was told they had a car in my price and to ride to bend to get it and drive it back. We get back on a cash deal, look out the window and there showing the car to someone else and now the price went up $2000 dollars. I am done with these people not the first time. Like most people I have heard horror stories about buying a car off a used car lot. Approved auto had the Jeep I was looking for so I took a deep breath and went in. I was surprised at how laid back everyone was (no high pressure sales) Mike worked hard to help get me the best deal and the best financing. I own a auto shop so I took the Jeep down to my shop for a very detailed inspection, everything checked out great, to hidden check engine lights, no oil leaks. They were very truthful ( I know doesnt seem possible- an honest used car lot) When it came to the finance part it was smooth, some of the other lots I had been to wanted sooooo much more info and a HUGE down payment. I was in and out (with my new Jeep) in a little over an hour!!! Thanks to all the guys at APPROVED AUTO for taking the stress out of buying a used car.

My car left me stranded and Darry and Tom came to my rescue! Tom worked hard to get me back on the road and Darry was very helpful discussing what repairs needed to be done.

I dont know what the old management was like, but the new management leaves something to be desired in my opinion. First time Ive ever written a review. Bill, (I think thats his name) for all his courtesy, seemed like he didnt know what he was doing and was highly stressed. Maybe for some their experience will be different but Im not going back there and will not refer any of my family or friends to that depressing/unkempt environment.

Bought a 06 jeep commander from them for 13000 and less than a year later the engine blew up. The salesman (Josh)wouldnt even help me out, he told me to drive it to bend with a blown engine or to have it towed on my expense. I than had it fixed for 2100 by my mechanic and then called them back and they wouldnt even talk to me he took my number to have the man (Josh) who sold me the jeep call me back 3 weeks later no call. I would not go to them and I would never send anybody to them very unprofessional.DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE

Amazing service and great staff

The end of June, 2017, we purchased a used 2008 Jeep Wrangler, Sahara, from the Redmond lot. The vehicle, looked good, cosmetically and had been taken care of on the interior. It would need new tires during the next 6 months, upon looking at them. After purchasing the vehicle, we were told that there were 2 outstanding recalls regarding the airbags that I should take care of. OK - no big deal. Made an appt with Smolich Motors to have the recall done, plus the warrant on the fuel burping issue Wranglers had. I could not get in for the work to be done until August 25th. Upon completion of the recall, Smolich motors advised me that there were several issues that needed to be taken car elf: 1) Right Rear Shock was blown, 2) Steering stabilizer was bad, 3) Front Right U Joint was bad, 4) Both rear axle seals were leaking, and 5) There was a problem with the AC / Heat control module on front panel. I took this information back to the Redmond dealer and expressed concern that these were issues that should have been found during initial inspection and safety checks prior to the vehicle being placed on the lot for sale. He contacted the Bend, Approved Auto, lot and arranged for me to meet there Monday morning to have the vehicle checked and a decision point on what would, or would not be repaired. Monday morning, I am in the Bend lot and no-one there knows why I am here. I talk with Rod Temple, who runs the service area, explained how I ended up there and showed him all the issues found on a safety inspection. Rod took the time to contact his manager, looking to see what could be done. He advised that his manager would have to go up a level to see about getting work done and that I should hear back prior to end of business. That afternoon, I received a call from Rod stating that Approved Auto would fix all the items at no cost to me. Needless to say, I was very pleased. Arrangements were made and I picked up the vehicle today. Both rear shocks were replaced, Axle seals and bearings were replaced, steering stabilizer was replaced, u joint replaced, rear axle bearings replaced, and the battery was replaced. I really appreciate Approved Autos support and backing up what was found wrong on the vehicle. At the same time, I would think and hope that vehicles are checked more in depth prior to being released to the public so no-one has t go through the time and patience of eating things fixed as they should be. Approved Auto, owned by Subaru of Bend, has satisfied me as a customer. The only reason I do not rate 5 stars is that most of this should have been found early on, but 4 stars for standing up and fixing what was wrong. Also, thanks to Ron Temple for working with me and keeping me apprised of events as they progressed. Thanks to Approved Auto and Subaru of Bend.

I trusted them on purchasing a truck from them and I know its a used truck but wasnt expecting to spend 13g on a 03 duramax then drive off and have to spend 5g more for motor work after taking it to their shop and I also spent $1.000 on tires as soon as I left the lot. So I spent a total of 19 on a 03 chevy duramax xtra cab (before interest) so they get 2 thumbs down from me!
