I dont think Ive experienced customer service like this anywhere else. The staff was so friendly and encouraging. My go-to store is usually Sallys, but Im making the switch to this Ulta.

Catherine was great. This is my first experience with buying makeup from a cosmetics store. The first 7 trips were kind of irritating because of their Covid rules and they didn’t color match, so we couldn’t get my color right. Catherine understood my frustration and personally helped me find exactly what I was looking for. In the 5 Ulta Beauty stores I’ve been to in the Seattle area, this one definitely stands out and their employees are honestly there to help!

I just had Brandi do my hair and I have never had my hair come out this good. She was super friendly and gentle. Ill be coming back just for her!!! The whole staff was friendly and it was a great experience overall!! Thanks so much guys! Literal miracle workers

I was glad to be able to select perfumes for the ladies in my family without being accosted by salespeople. It was great. They were still very available to help and check for stock when needed. It was also nice that they had all of their products open and on display so customers could see everything since theres this no touch rule now. Many other makeup stores have their products closed so you cant even see the product so kudos to Ulta for being on top of your game! Great job guys.

I walked in here thinking it was Ross bc I got turned around. But the staff wasnt weird about it when I just immediately walked out so thats a plus.

I was having a huge problem trying to find the right foundation for my wedding. I really appreciated the time and attention Katelyn took in order to give help me find what I needed. She gave such good advice and when I was able to try it on at home it looked flawless. I feel so much better about how Im going to look on my big day now! Much thanks!

Love, love, love Andrea in the salon. She has been my stylist/cosmetologist for YEARS and refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. She is super skilled, fun to talk with, and knows her craft like a boss. Her preferred use of color is bold, bright and unconventional, BUT she handles natural colors with just as much ease. Highly advise scheduling your next appointment with her.

Had my haircut done here recently, and left so frustrated. My worth haircut ever!!! I mean, I really don’t know what to do right now with this. When you tell haircut stylist just to cut your damage ends, but in the end you have just something else on your had with different layers, what is more they don’t even the same length. I tried to be nice al the time, we talked a lot, I left some tip, hoping I have a good haircut. But when I come back home, and straight my hair I literally cry!!! I need to do one more haircut now and cut my hair shorter! Never ever come back! Lady was late more then 20 minutes for my appointment, and nobody care that was is time after work! Charged $65 and never tell me the price before! So terrible experience!!!

I love Ulta, however, the people working at the Redmond store are never helpful and act as though they don’t want to be bothered helping you. The manager I spoke to Candice was also very short and rude. I recommend going to Ulta’s other locations if you need any assistance or customer service.

Simply visited this location for some stying gel. The lady at the front desk took so much time to ring my one item. During our encounter the associate pushed me multiple times to sign up for reward points, (I buy this hair gel once every 4-5 months) each time I clearly said no, no thank you, nope, etc. then before finally wrapping things up the associate says I can’t return anything without an account. I called the store after returning home I called the store explaining, that’s what receipts and the physical card are for. The matter of fact is I was never interested in returning my gel until the associate became pushy and felt as though I was being treated like a criminal, before I even checked out! Who knew working at a make up place would be so hard for some people. I’ll just buy my gel cheaper, online from the source. No need for a middle man.

Id say 80% of the people who work here are genuinely nice people. A few are obviously faking it but everyone has a bad day once in a while

I had been doing all my shopping online since the pandemic started, no issues. I came into the store to return a powder that was the wrong shade. I double checked with the person helping me that the card would work online. She assured me it would, when I tired to use it online I could not. Turns out she gave me store credit instead of a gift card. Which is specifically what I did not want due to the pandemic. Of course the only way to fix this their error is to go back into the store. I will hang on to the card until it is safe to shop in person again, Sephora now has my business.

I shop here all the time. They always have great deals. They have so much more than makeup. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program! If you shop the sales and use a rewards program you can save so much money. I always buy gifts from here, it helps add up my points. After holidays you can really score and during their huge promotions like 21 days of beauty. This happens twice a year. There are different deals every day and hot deals every day of the sale. If you like their own brand as well, they always have really good sales on their stuff. Always wait for buy 2 get 2 free though. And the mid-range It brushes for Ulta are great, dont waste your money on the black ones. They are nice and soft, but the fluffy brushes are not as dense as they should be. That brand also has great brush sets that are pretty inexpensive.

Try to avoid this place as I always spend far too much money! Cant help but browse the entire store. Very happy they now carry the full The Ordinary line of skin care.

It is the place to go for youre beauty supply needs. Even for us old guys.

Its fantastic Redmond has an ULTA Beauty store. When I am looking for high quality skincare products, including Korean Beauty products, I come to ULTA. The prices are great compared to buying directly from the official product brand. I always find a product I want to get (and sometimes a little extra).

My mom got replacement appointment here as her Thursday appointment at the crossroads branch got cancelled at the last minute. Again, they called at the last minute to cancel the appointment. This is UNACCEPTABLE! My cousin is getting married today, and my mom was banking on being able to get her hair done on the day to look good at the ceremony.

They have a wide variety of products. The team is very happy to help you find what you are looking for. The downside is they keep bugging you while youre shopping. Cant stand that. Leave me alone, and if I have a question Ill find you. Geez!!

This is just the best place for whatever you need. I live Ulta. Check out Andrew for a great hair cut and color. He mixed colors to match my hair.

I went here only because a friend gave me a gift card. Worst experience. The stylist was condescending and did not accommodate any of my requests. I said I’d come back, but the manager insisted I was serviced by a different stylist. I did have decent service. I therefore returned to make an appointment a month later. A few minutes before my appointment time the salon calls to tell me the stylist had to delay the appointment for upto 30minutes. I’m a mother and I put family on hold to get a style and was a bit shocked at how this salon takes my time for granted. They were unapologetic and I doubt I ever want to return. Fortunately I got a better stylist in the area take me at the same time. My review: don’t waste your time at this Ulta.

Love the collection of high end and drugstore makeup. The fact that they have numerous gift with purchases makes me want to buy more items from here vs some other beauty store. Ulta brand of cosmetics is pretty good too. One thing I dont like was that their birthday gifts are not as great as Sephora and for that reason I have skipped them more than once.

Love the brow bar here! Constance is the best-shes always so friendly and makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend her!

I love these retail stores, but my last visit was disappointing. After settling up with the cashier, I checked my recipe and found that I pay the extra 15$. I understand that it wasnt the cashier mistake, but I think I at least deserved an apology for my inconvenience. Of course, I received my money back, but its still a little tense.

They had a very large selection with everything you could possibly imagine. The workers were amazing and eager to help. I was helped by Ezzy(I don’t know if I spelled that right) who helped me match my tone and find a foundation and had a lot of tips and information for my skin type and what to use on it.

I like Ulta much better than Sephora. Its just low-key and easier to navigate. The associates are put together and helpful, and I left with products I love. Evening spending a lot of money should have been scary, but it wasnt.

This Ulta is right across from my work! Usually very convenient to pick up a couple products that I need. The night that I went to this location was terrible. First of all, no greeting as I walked in, there were 3 ladies standing by the door just talking to each other, no acknowledgment. Was a busy Sunday night and there was only 1 checker. There were about 8 other people in line behind me! She was slow and seemed like she was stalling honestly, asking lots of questions to the customer at the counter. Another woman finally comes up to help check and, very slowly logs into her computer and then waits a minute before announcing that shes open. No smiles from the employees, no good byes Just a terrible set of employees in general. Hope other days are better, usually a decent store.

For the last year Ive gone to the same girl for my eyebrows. Shes always been able to fit me in, etc., but not lately. I got there 20 minutes or so before she was about to be off, and instead of making an exception for a loyal customer who works every day of the week, she said I cant. Whether this is her or its Ulta, Im not sure, but this is just more incentive for me to give my business to the same people that do my nails! I was trying to support Ulta, I wont anymore.

Worst retail store ever. There are too many people working and one person at the register. I waited for 5 minutes in line than an incredibly rude woman marched in front of me to the counter and told me I was standing at the exit and she was not moving (nothing was marked). Another employee came to the register and 4 women were yelling about who was first the employee says well dont yell at me I just got here. It was my first time at ulta and I will never set foot in there again, horrible experience.

Im leaving review for this place particularly not Ulta in general. I usually go to different Ulta stores and my regular check is $200-$300+. I went to this store 4 times, spend over $1000, never received a single little tester. I like to try new products and every time was dissapointed. My friend advised me to sign up for Sephora testers for $10 a month. I loved it, its so convenient, now I completely switched to Sephora.

DO Not go here at salon if you are a new customer.They do not value your time and reschedule you a no. Of times. I made an appointment for hair coloring which was suppose to last for 1.5 hours. First I was rescheduled and when I reached at new scheduled time, I was actually 8 minutes late and they told me that they can not take me anymore because I was late. What a waste of time 😒 Basically they gave my appointment to someone else and when I asked to talk with the manager, she said since I was a new customer, they could not wait any longer for me. Go someplace else where they would appreciate new customers . I had high respect for the stylists but not if you are not welcomed. Not going here for salon anymore!!

Good place for cosmetics, but be smart to sue the coupons all the time and ask the attendant. They dont apply coupons on their own, you need to have soft or hard copy of it, which is annoying as a customer

Today I went to Ulta ( May 15, 2018 ) and one of their employee from the Benefit and his name was Kevin helped me a lot!! Like ALOT! I recommend consulting with him with your make up because honestly he is so honest & would not just let you buy some makeup that doesn’t match you not like other employee who just say “ this look good on you” when in reality I look orange with the foundation shade that I choose, I went to Kevin afterwards and I really liked how he cares about your look not just for you to buy random makeup. I would also recommend him to do your eyebrows because damn, he snatch it!!! I would totally come back because of the great experience I had with him, unlike other employee!! So.... not helpful.

This place is my kriptanight. I would like them to stay in stock of there products a little better than they do now. I am sure it is to people putting stuff back in the wrong spot so when you go to order your low and outs you are not realizing the product is in the wrong spaces. Zoneing the store really helps this issue.

Horrific customer service. One person working the floor and one on register. I wandered the store for 15 minutes trying to find help! I did receive a greeting at the door so thats the one star rating. There were about 15 other people in the store though. Only having one person working the floor is insane. I came in to get help with a formal look. Guess Ill be shopping elsewhere.

I love the store and your proudcts but the customer service is horrible nobody greeted me when I came in the store, and nobody came up to me and ask if I needed any help, and you need more cashiers at your registers for fast faste services especially around the hoildays.

This is my first review ever because ive never felt more betrayed or angered by someone that claimed to be professional. Please NEVER EVER EVER EVER go to the salon for makeup. I got my makeup done professionally for prom, and they took so long (3 hours) that i missed the pre-party and food for my prom, AND i still had to go home, take all the makeup off, and do it myself. it was a total waste of money and a terrible use of time. They tried to cover up their makeup mistakes by just adding more cakey foundation on top of everything, and at the end of it, i looked orange and super cakey and fake. she forgot to do my eyebrows, my under-eye eyeliner, countouring, blush, highlight, and mascara (all things i asked for at the beginning). she knew she was rushed on time, so she just announced that she was done, when CLEARLY things were not nearly close to finished. when she did my fake lashes, she glued my eyes shut, and forced my to try to open them, and then they started stinging because the glue was not dry, and had seeped into my eyes. When doing eyeshadow, she spend over 45 minutes, literally, just trying to use the right colors and ended up messing it up anyways because she made it go all the way up to my brows. Overall, very terrible, unreliable, unprofessional place to get makeup done. I would definitely NOT recommend. The girl that did mine was named brittany. At the beginning of the appointment, i told her i was nervous because i heard that sometimes, these types of things go very wrong, and she assured me with very high confidence, that she was amazing at makeup and that i would not be leaving there unhappy. she was 100% wrong.The professional hair, on the other hand is amazing. I would highly highly recommend Brandi for hair. I was so pleasantly surprised when she was finished. She kept in mind what i asked for, and often asked if i liked the way it was looking and if i wanted something to be changed. It was even better then i was hoping it could be.

Racist customer service. Black and Latino people, stay away. They will follow you, make you feel uncomfortable, and give you an unpleasant experience. I refuse to come here ever again.

There was a great benefit today for breast cancer and my appointment was later, time didnt matter she made sure I was entirely happy before leaving even though it was well after closing time.I havent had my hair cut in a few years cause a bad experience but she made me comfortable and made sure to be clear with what I wanted before scissors even touched my hair.
