Always great to be able to test drive the instruments.Rainy day but this store in RTC has easy access from the parking lot on the top floor. You can almost always park by the entrance door
Still love going there. Even when I dont need anything. Running low on a few items and out of stock on others, but that seems to be the new norm.
I recently visited guitar center in redmond to purchase a guitar. A huge shout out to Jason for amazing customer service! He helped me inspect the guitar and answer all of my questions very patiently. I am really happy with the purchase. Thanks Jason!! :)
Staff needs a bit of loving and some education. Out of 4 people I spoke with one had a clue. My friend was buying a guitar worth 2.5k
Friendly folk. Had what I needed for my gig. Happy me :*)
My son takes drum lessons in there. We love the teacher.
Helpful guys, refreshing vs other GCs Ive been to.
Cold, rude. Never again. No one helped. They wouldn’t let me go until I buy a warranty for my guitar.
After walking up to the door and the gate being closed 20 minutes before closing, I walked around to the back and go straight to Pro Audio because I knew what I came for. Not one person came to speak or ask if I needed help. I played with a few keyboards and then heard an announcement. Clearly the few employees on the floor were just in a rush to go home. I stoped at the register and even made eye contact with an employee that then turned back around and carried on the conversation he was having with another employee. I wanted to buy some things so I just took pictures and will be taking my money to somewhere with more enthusiastic employees. It won’t be a surprise that this among other Guitar Center locations will be out of business soon.
Staff isnt very helpful. Seam tobwant to make the sale rather than make the customer happy. With that being said. The equipment and store cleanliness is on point.
Cool, friendly people. Helpful, knowledgeable. The store has pretty much everything.
Tyler in Repairs is STOKE. Got a problem with my Japanese custom strat that drove me insane for quite sometime, and finally had to get it fixed before big day TOMORROW. Tyler had it fixed it in 9 minutes flat.
Got everything I needed, not very crowded, and one of the members spent a while really helping me pick a good set of headphones
Really great people. There is a guy there who always helps me with my guitar, helping me find different sounds on my amp, and always delivers great sounds and advice.
Great store that does exactly what a brick and mortar location should! Bought a Fender Deluxe Reverb there, Jason was both knowledgeable and helpful with making the decision. Needed to follow up with him about a missing footswitch - had it shipped out with zero hassle and a great attitude. Only suggestion for the store would be to hire more people as knowledgeable in guitars/amps as Jason, its a Guitar Center after all... :)
Great sales team, Noah is an exemplary and knowledgeable team member.
Art, Jason and James are incredibly knowledgable and extremely nice and helpfulPlus Taylor and Todd the guitar techs amazing peopleSamuel BETNONA
Made an exchange here today and I was given great customer service with no hassle and just a minute of waiting. Love this store’s layout too!
Huge shoutout to June for being the coolest, kindest and most patient guitar teacher ever! Thanks June, for introducing me to the awesome world of guitar! Leigha is also very friendly and super helpful to get all your lessons assigned! 5 star rating all the way! :D
I realized I paid about twice as much as I should have for a headphone adapter as soon as I got home. The staff was friendly at least, but I really cant recommend going here for anything you can get somewhere else.
Great store with knowledgeable and supportive staff. I bought my first guitar here and took lessons. Very satisfied what the the overall experience
Super friendly staff here and helpful
Variety of guitars and piano. Great for music lessons
Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I left the store satisfied. Couldnt be happier with my purchase.
They helped me carry a keyboard to my car in the snow. They were very helpful.
Nasser and the rest of team are really awesome and helpful. Got an amazing Majesty with their help. Thank you!
Cool place, not really anything for orchestral players but it is a guitar center so thats to be expected, plus theres a Music & Arts down the street so whatever youre looking for would hopefully be covered by one of those two. I love visiting this place and trying out the ukes!
Good service!
I called the Kirkland Guitar Center on June 8, 2020 and said I wanted to buy a guitar but had a few questions. The man told me he didnt have time to talk to me about any products in his store because he was too busy. Im happy to pay a little more for someone who can take 90 seconds to answer some questions before I spend several hundred dollars.
Very nice staff who helped me pick a guitar for my daughter. We have no experience with guitars at all and they were excellent.
Weve had a great experience with Guitar Center. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons there. They have very educated / experienced instructors. The staff is friendly and responsive. No complaints.
Little lacking in actual inventory knowledge, but for the most part a solid GC.
I had the best experience shopping for my first guitar today at this location. This staff was extremely helpful, patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would like to mention, more specifically, Grace. She was more than happy to help someone like me who has no knowledge about guitars, purchase one that was affordable yet with a beautiful sound. Along with helping me buy accessories for it and a two year warranty all again, for a great price. Thank you Grace and the two other employees that also helped for being amazing. I will be sure to come back!
This is the best guitar center I have ever been to. Being a guitar player for 20+ years, I have had a fair share of visits to guitar centers everywhere in the states. The staff here is always super friendly and put absolutely no pressure for you to buy anything. On the contrary they always look for ways to find you the beat possible options and/or prices, or look elsewhere in their stores for an item not available in this location.
Bought a Gretsch resonator and Ukelale today from the Redmond store. Outstanding customer service from everyone onhand! All questions were answered knowledgeably and thoroughly. Art and Evan went above and beyond! Give em both a raise!2 thumbs up!Ill be in for future purchases and/or service.
Friendly staff and knowledgeable as well. A large selection of guitars so take time to take a look and even test out a few. Definitely worth it to try them out. Also they provide lessons for various musical instruments what do they teach you how to read music and even play an instrument. They also have a wide variety of instructors that you can review and have your pick of.This place is up on the second floor and right across from the theater at the Redmond Town Center
Ive been to at least 10 guitar centers around the country and I feel like the Redmond store was a step above the rest. It was well staffed and the employees were all approachable and very willing to help. The store itself was clean and organized. I saw a lot customer interaction going on. I also felt that I was taken care of and attended to.
Art helped me choose my first guitar, and not only did he set me up with everything I needed, but he also got me really excited about it! His knowledge and passion came through and inspired me to start off with a much better instrument than I went in for.
Guys place to buy musical things
Did my first large scale rental here for band equipment, they have practically everything one could need. My main needs were PA related, but ended up even taking a complete drum kit! Their mics, mixers and stands are A+ rated, very high quality and reasonably priced (except for wireless which are at premium). All cables included, nice bonus! Plenty of inventory too, it seemed.Service is very thorough, though sparse at the wrong times (you may end up waiting a lot for something like this). What was great is the training received in the store and an open-ended call-in offer should you have trouble during your gig with anything rented.Perfect rooftop parking in the mall with a wide loading entrance, trolleys come straight out to your trunk. Cash not a recommended payment method on account of the steep deposit required (calculated on equipment value). Insurance options offered at the last minute are steep too, be prepared to fork out 30+% extra if meaningful and you plan on being careless. Get a quote by phone or email.A fun place just to even browse for hours, this will be my go-to center for band/music rental equipment.
Awesome Location! Great large sound rooms and huge selection of everything. Great customer service.
Very helpful staff and a nice selection.
Generally good place. They worked on my guitar and did tune up and turned out good for fair price. Have bought a few other things there and staff is fairly helpful. Glad they are in Redmond. I also like that you can try out guitars in sound rooms. Nice bonus.
Phenomenal Team of Honest People. Had my First Guitar rebuilt with new pickups & switches for a great price and the work Ethan did was fantastic. Am here often for pre-gig/ recording needs and the entire staff is super helpful about helping me find products to fit my needs.
Knowledgeable staff and great selection. I only took off a star because I purchased an instrument and paid for them to ship it to me, but a month later they still had not. When I called, they had no reason for their mistake other than that they had simply forgotten.
The wait times are horrible. In November on a weekday, I set up our lessons and was at the store over 2 hours. Lessons could not be set up over the phone. My 8 year old son with ADHD had about six lessons which he went to with his dad. A day before the next lesson Guitar Center called and said my son had to take a mandatory 6 month break because of his inability to focus during the lesson and a behavior issue (that was resolved in the lesson and the lesson was completed). My son had just started getting excited about lessons and practiced every day this week. If you have a kid with ADHD, Guitar Center will not have any conversations with you about how your child learns, how to help them learn, or the best way to proceed. They will terminate you. I really thought teaching was about talking to families and working with them. I hope other families to avoid the heart break of having to tell their kid they cant go to guitar lessons. This isnt a place that will work with you or understands kids.
I have bean to many guitar stores but guitar center is the best personally. I well walk into the store with a lot of questions and 100 percent of the time I leave with them all answered. If you are looking to buy a guitar or you just want to be pointed in the righ direction go check out guitar center.
I just went in the Redmond store knowing exactly what I wanted, intending to spend $450 and could not get any decent help, they could not find a guitar for me that had no dents, they could not sign the whammy bar for any of the guitars that I had selected and, I had to ask for cord to plug it into an amp, couldnt find anybody who could answer a question about the tremolo on the guitar and I ultimately left and will not be spending my money there. This was supposed to be a simple in-and-out, transaction, leave and be happy. Absolutely did not happen. I try to do local, I really do. Ill be giving Sweetwater a phone call.
Came in to buy drumsticks for the little one and ended up buying extra shakers (we fancy well start a family band!). The store has lots of musical instruments and parts. A section for kiddie sized instruments was a hit with my toddler. The store has several acoustic rooms for testing guitars and drums. Friendly and helpful staff and inviting store environment. Will be back to get the kiddie drum set next.
Nice store. Associates are friendly and helpful.
Had a great trip inside the store. Was looking for stringed instruments for the kiddo, who might want drums instead after playing some of the electric kits they had on sale. Staff was friendly, but finding people to answer questions was a bit tough. Overall, good store, decent staff and about average pricing. If you need something today, this is a great store to check out.
Little dude ran around with me. Seemed child friendly.
Great selection of musical instruments. You can sit and try them out and the sales people are nice and ready to help you out. Lessons, rentals, repairs - they have it all!
When it comes to music stores I always end up going to Guitar Center. As a drummer I enjoy going over to see and try the latest drum kits. In the Alderwood Guitar Center they have good demos on electronic drum kits. Redmond is good but it is a smaller store and there are less demos available. Whenever I go I always end up buying something.
Very late adopter to the world of music and guitars and to me this place is like a toy shop at Christmas. Been here 3 times for my guitar needs. Family also added drums and electric piano. Very friendly sales staff who are knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions at any time.
Very nice staff, helped us to choose a guitar for a kid.
I enjoyed how you could get up and personal with the instruments. The employees are also really helpful and experienced. The store looks fantastic on the inside, it really shows off the instruments. They sell instruments, books about them, and accessories to those instruments. Overall my go to place for my instrument needs
Loved the instruments and it had instructors for almost every instrument. The people were very helpful and hospitable. I had a great experience.
These guys schmoozed me into buying a defunct subwoofer they wouldnt take back. It had been used in a dusty outdoor environment and - due to dust, but no other wear whatsoever - they refused to honor their return policy. Good thing I bought a service plan with it... Never again, though.
I came in here on a rather quiet day with my electric to try out some new amplifiers and had about 2 thousand or so to spend. I wasnt dressed particularly nicely, as it was my only day off, and figured there was no reason to be dressed up to go look at musical equipment. Not only did I receive no help, I was judged and profiled by one of the older staff at this location. The guy probably knows who he is. Gray hair and glasses. Out of consideration, I asked whether it would be okay if I carried my instrument (and case) into the acoustic department in the back of the building. The guy asks me to look at him, and he stares into my face while saying Im studying your face right now, and if you swap that guitar out for anything on the wall, Im going to remember you. I responded with, Well, thats a little accusatory. Then he told me of how somebody had been in that week and done the same thing, and that it was precautionary, and not personal or accusatory, to which, I disagree! You definitely dont say that to every customer that comes into your establishment with their own instrument. Thanks for profiling me based on... not sure what. Im no thief, and Im actually quite well off. YOU are not friendly, unhelpful, rude, AND accusatory. What a way to lose business. Ive since decided never to support guitar center in any sense of the word. Ill be supporting local businesses and shopping online from now on, and recommend that you do too.
One stop shop for all your mucial instrument needs. A huge store in the Redmond Town Centre, which has a plethora of musical instruments. You can simply visit here even if you are getting bored at home and spend sometime in the store trying out all sorts of instruments. The store cashier also offered me a couple guitar picks while I was leaving.
Great collection of guitars and keyboards. Ive bought a keyboard, an acoustic, and an electric guitar from them. One of the staff misled me to believe that there was no discount on a particular model. Thankfully, I checked online on their site and found that the model was on 15% off. Showed that to them and got the discount.
Walked in ready to buy. Couldnt budge on price on anything...no deals, nothing. Headed over to Don Bennetts in Bellevue, spent over $2000 - great job Chris - thanks for GREAT customer service!!
We went in and I guess they were busy. We waited and waited for someone to help us but never got it. I also noticed the guitars were very dirty and tons of finger prints. The store seemed empty to me and I honestly wanted to purchase a guitar to start learning how to play.
Staff is super helpful and friendly. Ive been to a bunch of guitar centers, and this location has one of the best staff out of all of them
Ive been shopping at Guitar Center since 1984 (Santa Ana, CA).The Redmond store is one of my favorites by far - especially after moving from OC, CA 2.5 years ago - Lake Forest store was close, but I always drove to the Fountain Valley store instead.Nice to have a great music store nearby my new home in the PNW.Good stock, great guitar rooms, SUPER helpful staff!!!Very nice to see such an active lessons area - excellent community store!!!
We never buy anything here, but my 3 year old loves to go in and try out all the instruments. The staff has always been courteous and weve never felt unwelcome bringing our toddler in to expose him to music. I only wish they started lessons at younger than 5 years old!
Guitar Center is Guitar Center. They have fair prices but nothing special. Staff is a mix of knowledgeable and not. It always seems to me that there arent enough people working the floor when I visit here.
Guitar center was a bit overwhelming for a total novice like me! But that speaks more to my lack of experience and knowledge than it speaks to the store :) the store was clean, well organized, and fun to look through. The only staff member who I spoke with was my cashier, and she was very nice, encouraging and professional!
Smaller than some of the guitar centers but has so much to offer. Great Customer Service.
I was in a bind needing equipment for the next day but had some pretty rough challenges and these folks, particularly Nassser, really helpped me out. There was quite a bit of problem solving involved regarding buying vs renting equipment and we ran through several options before I got out with a stand and mic that were perfect. Thanks a bunch!
Ask for Jake, awesome customer service. Nice location. Good selection. Definitely worth checking out
Everyone is super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The selection is very large and caters to all kinds of arts. Great if youre an experienced player or just starting out.
Artur solved an issue with a microphone stand faster than Google. Best customer service at the mall today!
Very large and filled store with a very helpful staff. The only thing negative I have to say is the location. It can be a bit hard if you dont know the mall layout well
Guitar and especially bass selection could be better, but the used gear is great. The acoustic room is perfectly sized for 4-5 people and very well insulated. The staff is great -extremely helpful, not pushy, fairly knowledgeable (unless you ask something completely obscure).Definitely the GC of youre searching for electronica-type musical parts.
Didnt purchase today... But been a while and I was pleased to find the same friendly staff and good quality instruments GC is famous for, thank you Guitar Center!
They had some very nice used gear that we purchased and good pricing on their accessories. Staff was very friendly throughout process.
I love different musical so Greater best my husband Colin buy Guitar for me I never play guitar First time my dad is play guitar young musical I was baby listening to my dad playing guitar I grew up play piano grew up I am hearing aids listen play piano I am not happy guitar I try save my money buy piano
Huge store, with a small, sad selection of beginner gear. Anything worth playing is locked up and even those are a handful of generic instruments. Not worth going if you are a serious musician actually searching for gear. They have really gone downhill in the last few years.
Greatest place to purchase any stringed instrument, drums, pianos, any and all types of mixing and keyboards. Always great service. Only four stars becouse the two guitars and amp I purchased showed noticable wear from being floor models. Not sure why I dont get boxed items with any literature or paper work. Also I had to return the next day to have the bass guitar fixed and the cord to plug in the amp.
Guitar of all ranges, & musical instruments, books on music & eminent musicians available under supervision of well behaved staffs.
Well, kudos to their guitar tech, who is really an awesome fella. For the rest... well, it’s guitar center, you know :)
The only thing that bothered me was I had my 4 month old baby with me, and an employee (very much noticed) was blaring his guitar when playing or teaching a customer. which I get were at a music place but he had the volume very very high. And I had to keep to the other side of the store near the pianos, until he was finished before I could really go look at guitars.
Very spacious interior and plenty of instruments to try and test. Staff are friendly and there is a great selection of musical instruments, books, and accessories.
This guitar center is nice, awesome acoustic rooms to test out some sounds.
Service a bit thin there, could use more staff, especially ones knowledgable about gear they sell instead of trying to be hip. But overall, cool place to hang out and try various instruments.
I signed up for a free “Women’s Beginner Guitar Class” about a month ago and rallied the troops at home so I could attend over the dinner/traffic hour. I received a Guitar Center confirmation email with the note to call and cancel if I couldn’t make it.Anyhow, I showed up to discover there was no class. Registration desk blamed “corporate” for screwing it up. Took my name and contact info to offer some lessons at another time or some store credit.Never heard back from them.I don’t want to drive all the way there again to discover that the lesson isn’t going to happen, and I don’t want to give the store any money, discount or not.I am embarking on a year of learning and purchasing instruments but will do it more reliably.
Very Poor Customer Service. I have to literally Wait and roam all store twice to get help. The management has to increase Staff but most of them are trained good to answer queries.
My boyfriend is very happy with Guitar Center, now he plays the guitar for me all the time.
It definitely has a wide range of products, but customer service was okay. Not much to say about it. 3 stars
Fantastic customer service!
Was planning on getting a new guitar. Salesman was very informative and helpful. Good number of options.
I knew what I was looking for when I went in. The friendly staff helped me find it, and got me checked out, quickly.
Wonderful staff and an excellent selection that suits the need of beginners and experts. They have teachers who specialize in helping children develop music appreciation.
Music lessons at reasonable prices, big selection of musical instruments, and very friendly staff.
Nice supply of musical instruments, my son tried out a couple of things, after a couple of visits we made a decent size investment. Had to replace a Williams Alegro, the process was seamless and quick. Nice and knowledgeable sales team.
Great place, as always. Knowledgeable personnel and great prid3ucts.
Outstanding customer service from Grace and Josh, Josh helped me pick out the perfect acoustic guitar, Ive been playing for 10 years and he knew the exact sound I wanted to get from an acoustic guitar and picked one I wouldnt have expected and I havent put it down since, thank you both!
