I have not experienced a better, more professional boat repair experience in my 30 years of boating!! I have used them for two major issues with my boat. Last year, they removed my old generator from my 40 foot Maxum. They just replaced a transmission on the same vessel. Both projects were labor intensive with many intricate details. As the projects progressed, I could call Mike in Service or even Steve, the owner. They kept me well informed and comfortable with the progress. They are proactive and professional about dealing with issues as we all know happen frequently with boat repairs.If you have a boat and want to use a shipyard you can trust and rely on, look no further!!!

Having used this yard on more than a few occasions for over 10 years, I have come to realize that the experience is exactly like Forrest Gumps Mama would say... Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what youre gonna get. You can tell when someone does not like their job, or maybe theyre just having a bad day, but it seems to be the case at any given time, on any given day for any given representative. The other vibe is that leadership seems to have the success syndrome. They care little what you think because there is another guy in the line right behind you.From one sailor to another, be a wary customer.

They have always treated me fairly. I had an estimate for a haulout that was a year and a half old, and they honored the price. I didnt expect it. Their employees are competent and hard working.Steve went way out of his way to help out on getting a new prop. I am throughly happy with them.

Called to see if someone could give me a rough estimate on replacing my cutlass. Nasty man answered and told me that I would have to bring it in and haul it out before he could tell me anything, then he hung up on me. Three other shipyards in the area were more than happy to give me a rough estimate. Were not going to let a shipyard haul us out only to inflate the costs and hold us hostage.

Pricing was inline with other yards. I brought my boat in for DIY. The staff was friendly.

If your boat needs to be pulled, have the hull cleaned before you bring it in. It will save you $100-200 in labor and fees.
