It was my first visit there for our birthday (both friend and me). The food was delicious and the sunset was so beautiful from our seats.

The food is super nice. Interior actually not bad. The shop is managed by Japanese.I arrived at 6:15pm and I was the first one at dinner time. The server is nice and offered me a table near the window. The scene is good with magic hour. The food is nice. Sashimi is fresh. The customers are mainly Japanese. Highly recommended.

Dont eat here!Theyre frauds. Absolutely disgusted by each and every single employee I came in contact with. They charged me triple for items I didnt even order,and when I wanted to ask about it, they gave me the nastiest most suspicious attitude and behavior. Im reporting this place, nobody should eat at a place like this. Absolutely pathetic,this business should be ashamed of itself.Quite frankly they were super cowardly in their attempt to communicate with me which blew my mind,just talk like a human. You have nothing to hide RIGHT?

My daughter, boyfriend and I went today. Out of the several times weve visited Redondo Pier weve either come before they were opened or they were already closed, we were super excited today that we were able to make it while they were open. Today would have been my daughters first time trying sushi except she couldnt finish the California roll and spat out the whole thing into the napkin. I am so happy that she did because my boyfriend and I ended up with food poisoning about an hour after we left the restaurant. I didnt have as many rolls as him I only had the California and Spider Roll which means it was something in one of those two rolls that made us sick since those were the only ones that we shared. This was the only food we had today so we know that it was this place that got us queasy. They get one star for the service and the atmosphere, the whole reason you come to a restaurant is the food and besides the food poisoning its just not the best sushi, the rolls were incredibly loose and they fell apart when you try to pick them up. I dont feel like my bar for sushi is super high Ive never been to Japan to have authentic sushi and my idea of amazing sushi is Crazy Rockin Sushi. So really they just had to not give me food poisoning to be considered good sushi. I currently have gurgle guts that I will have to live with for the next day or so and my boyfriend is at home throwing up. I really wanted to like everything here, the sushi looks really good until you tried to pick it up or eat it.Maybe we just caught them on a really bad day. We definitely wont be back not when theres better sushi for way less money not set in a tourist trap.

Very nice place by the water with good views. Decent service, dont expect the tables food to arrive at the same time. Food can take quite some time to come out, but its worth the wait. Definately do desserts.

Very confusing figuring out how to order from them right now. The main shop door is closed. There is a sign that says for outdoor or to go orders use side beach door but there was no such door. We entered the other door for Dine in and hunted down a waitress. We couldnt Dine in because it was reservations only and the to go order was going to take an hour or more to make unless it was something easy (but really I think she meant pre-made) like a California roll. The chef was to overwhelmed to make anything else. So maybe next time if we get to order and taste the food Ill give it a better rating.

Walking along the pier and saw this place, food looked pretty good though the window, will have to stop by and check it out next time Im there.

There ice cream was delicious. The soft serve is not watered down like other nearby shops. Definitely stop by if you like soft serve. The gelato strawberry ice cream read also delicious.

Actual Japanese staff speaking authentic language, and very genuine, courteous service. Great experience, just like you were visiting the country. Beautiful romantic ocean scenery, great little gem

I arrived for a friend’s birthday dinner and the service was really great. We had a best time for her celebration with sushi chef and all servers together. Owner (Hisa) took great care of us and was totally understandable and accommodated us for absolutely everything. I loved him and all staffs!!Absolutely, JAPANESE Food was awesome. Everything was fresh. Cant wait to come back soooon!!!!

This place it is awesome!!!We go all the time and we take our friend there, the food is So good, fresh, pretty yummy. I love the sake sampler it has 4 different types ( smooth, unfiltered, medium and dry )Yesterday was my husbands birthday, So we went there. My wife and I loved this place! Not your typical Asian menu items and we liked how they offered great sushi along with entrées and apps. This was a very pleasant surprise especially given the touristy pier it sits on.

I thought that the food at Oriental Breeze was surprisingly tasty and well-crafted for an izakaya that is not very well-known in the area. The prices seemed to be a bit high and in the tourist-range, as the Chilean sea bass small plate costs $15 and the small chirashi bowl was $22. Service was close to non-existent, as servers failed to greet us at the entrance and we actually seated ourselves. Our waters never refilled our waters and it took a very long time to receive the check. Im not sure if I will repeat (not because of their food or service, but because of its out of the way location), although its a place I would recommend people to try once if they happen to be in the Redondo Beach area.

Ive been living on and off in Japan for the last 8 years, and of the Izakaya/Japanese restaurants around the Redondo and Hermosa area, this is one of the most authentic locations.Besides the Te-maki (sushi rolls) that are generic to Western ideas of Japanese Sushi, any of the dishes off the menu are traditional and really delicious.I highly advise trying any of their grilled fish or tofu dishes!

The grilled squid was soooo good. There was a decent amount of diners also. The apple juice was quite interesting since its made by Martinetllis (never tried them before). Recommend the grilled squid!

My gf and I randomly walked in around 6:30pm on a Saturday when the place was still empty, and almost instantly fell in love: comfy couches with pillows, some tables are semi-secluded with bamboo screens making it more intimate, gorgeous views... Then the food rolled in. We started with spring rolls: amazingly fresh with a fantastic sauce. I had to fight my girlfriend for the last drops of that sauce. Tempura: carrot, shrimp, mushroom, sweet potato, jalapeño, all super yummy. I am a big fan of mushrooms (the regular ones, not the funny ones) and tempura - yet never had this. Hope they have it next time I am there.Volcano: 4 white fish and crab meat cakes with ginger soy sauce and garlic flakes and I am sure something else, on a hot pan. Rich, decadent, and so tasty it makes you scrub the hot plate clean.Unobtrusive yet attentive service.I should also mention a few small pieces of pickled veggies and mushrooms they put on the table as a free appetizer, that were also fantastic, and a sundae for a desert, equally good, and not too heavy.Overall, an incredible meal in an authentic place, with gorgeous views. My girlfriend and I usually split things, and all of the above, plus 1 medium beer, a set of 2 of two maguro (tuna) sushi and a decaf coffee, cost us $43 before tips. Not exactly pennies, but one of the best values and experiences around town. Highly recommend.

A Japanese restaurant on Redondo Beach.I went there several times because I can eat fresh seafood, and I definitely recommend eating the Dungeness Crab on the west coast of the United States.

The clerk is cute! I think there are many Japanese customers, but it is a polite shop. Seafood and salads are delicious, but crab dishes are also delicious. If I shared it with a few people and ate it, I could eat as many kinds as I could be satisfied with, and the grilled rice balls seemed to be delicious.

Its a shop that comes twice a month (*´꒳`*)♪Japanese restaurant at Pier of Redondo Beach.Its very delicious♪♪The clerk is also friendly and gentle ☺︎♪It was very moving when I saw the sunset from the store!There are various variations of food, and I think the taste and place that Japanese people feel at ease. There is also a counter seat. It is a place where you can relax♪If you make a reservation, the shop can open the window seat ♪ He told me ☺︎I think that you also have your own taste, so why not drop by once? ?
