Love the place its always my go to for manga, the prices I think are fair. And theres a section for everyone. Action, romance, comedy, horror, yaoi and dont worry the cashiers will not judge you or treat you differently for what you buy. I personally bought some yaoi, 3 Yaoi mangas to be exact and my cashier was friendly and sweet. Love to go anytime, I could go anytime! Always have positive visits! ❤

Except for Jacob, this store is racially biased in customer service. This company needs to learn that the customers with higher spending capacity are the ones that they misjudge, mistreat and withhold the same common courtesies that are extended to others they perceive to have more money.Be very careful, Barnes and Nobles staff of Redwood City.If sales decline, your store shuts down and thus the place you practice your ignorance.

Nice quiet book store in an isolated corner of a shopping center in Redwood City with a nice inventory. Accessible from Jefferson and James Avenue . Driveway on El Camino Real is a right in and right out only. Handicap accessible with handicap parking fronting entrance to store. Pretty of surface parking available. Friendly service. Nicely stocked Nook area with bargain books. Store was not crowded.

It is smaller than the other one I have been too. But have all the options I am looking for in one compact floor. Love it

Very inviting bookstore. I noticed the double doors open for ventilation, hand sanitizing gel on a table near the entrance, and plexiglass shields at the pay counter. Everything is well organized and the staff is easily found when you need help finding a book.I recently, purchased a rice cooker and found many instant pot books, but none for a rice cooker. I looked up recipe books on my phone and found one I thought I would like. B&N didnt have it and they ordered it for me and called when it came in. Very helpful. I couldve ordered it on Amazon, but I wanted to give my business to a local store. Great store :)

Just left going to a bookstore and feeling the paper in the books I dont want to have to order online want to help our community. Barnes & Noble is very helpful and have a great selection wouldnt hesitate to go there. And the rest rooms are nice too.

Was here today. They have removed all the chairs, so it was very difficult to shop. Normally I browse a stack of magazines and pick a few to buy. It is too hard to do that standing the entire time, so I ended up leaving without buying anything today. Disappointed.

I love this bookstore and need to come more often. The books are well organized and the staff is easy to find and helpful. I enjoy browsing their bargain section where you can find childrens books, cookbooks, non fiction and just a bit of everything heavily discounted.Throughout the store you can find books with 20% off stickers and if you are a member, some offered an additional 10% off. Nice. This particular store is just the right size, not too big, not too small. Its so nice to hold a real book and turn the pages for a change from digital literature.

Its always nice to be able to peek at a book in person before you purchase it, which is not as easy with all the online sales of books as of late. Not much more to expect from the store though. They do offer a much wider selection of board games and trinkets now. Maybe a good place for stocking stuffer ideas during the Christmas season.

Ordered a Book reader online that seemed dead on arrival. Took it to the store and the manager was patient and courteous while verifying that it was not working and then replaced it with a working one. Very professional service. Nice store. Clean and fill of great books and other stuff.

I went in to find a specific title. An employee asked if I needed help and was able to direct me to the desired book. I was in the store fewer than 5 minutes and I had the book I was looking for.After finding the book, I looked around and found some awesome reusable bags that I decided to purchase as gifts. All in all, the trip to Barnes and Noble was a success.Great customer service and very nice store.

Brick and mortar makes zero sense unfortunately. I tried to buy a book today and it was 15.99 in store, and on their own website it was on sale for 9.07. The associate said I could buy online and pick up in store if I wanted to come back later after it processed. Tried that and it said it wasnt available for instore pickup. Bought it online for 3.10 and 4.99 shipping from somewhere else. The associate was nice and the store clean but no $$ in the til because they wouldnt honor their own online price...okay...

Ive been to several Barnes and Noble bookstores and I found the sales people here to be so much more friendly and helpful. They help you find what you are looking for. If unavailable they will help you order it. Thumbs up. Keep up the good job. I dont even live in this area, but I would make the trip here for the good customer service.

The employees here are wonderful, which is why I like coming here. I like the very broad magazine selection and like to try reading new magazines. The biggest drawback is that it does not have an in-store Starbucks. There is a Starbucks in the shopping centre, but it is very small and you can never find a place to sit.

Wonderful place to take a breather and just read. The customer service is always handy in finding exactly what you are looking for and if its not available they can check stores nearby or online!

One of the few book stores around. That said, there were problems. Computer magazines were in the section entitled entertainment, there was no Cafe. The one employee I could find failed even ask me if he could help me.

If you care about books, it is a great find chock full of what you would want with benches and seats to let you browse.If you are looking for one of the Barnes and Nobles that have the built in coffee shop with tables and chairs so you can pick up a stack of books to peruse over a cup of delight, this one doesnt ha e that.Grab your books but the coffee has to come from elsewhere.

Its small compared to other ones Ive been too and has no seats available but that doesnt mean it is going to stop me from reading books. Staff is helpful and they have a good selection of rare books and manga.

Wide selection, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, and comfortable. I was also able to return a book here with no problems which is unique. They dont have a cafe which sort of sucks, but that means its much quieter than other barnes and nobels which is nice.

What is there to say, it is a Barnes and Noble. Seems to attract a lot of readers, people sitting in the chairs near the windows facing the street-reading. Dont know if they buy anything, but I see the same people sitting there over multiple visits.
