Great coffee shop and coffee roaster located in downtown Redwood city serving a variety of snacks, coffee drinks, and roasted coffee. Definitely recommended to visit for a while or just to pick up roasted fresh coffee.[The Store]The shop here is beautifully designed and impeccably clean. We loved the artwork, layout of the building, and the outside appearance. They have plenty of places to sit both inside and outside on the street. If youre looking to just spend an afternoon working or reading and people watching, this is a great spot.[The Coffee]We came here to buy some freshly roasted coffee and we were not disappointed. The coffee was roasted only 3 days ago. They have a variety of different beans from different areas including Colombia, Africa, and others. We tried the coffee this morning and it was excellent! Expect to pay around 18 dollars for a bag of coffee.[The Service]Excellent service here. The gentlemen that served us was super knowledgable, friendly, and attentive! We didnt wait in line and we had no complaints. Just a great experience.

We live half an hour away but on many weekends we like to spend the night in Redwood City. Broaway Street is full of restaurants and several coffee shops, there is one that we love: Coffeebar. It has wooden tables inside and a good wifi, on the street very european metal tables and a great menu, there is even mate, try the energy bites, rich and healthy. I recommend the avocados 🥑 toast with eggs 🥚 So yummy 🤤 I always choose to have matcha and my husband varies between lattes and mochas. The only thing that I would change is that it closes early at 5 I would still want another matcha. I recommend this place for a nice quiet break.

Absolutely gorgeous space! Very tasteful modern, fresh clean… The list goes on! Being a decaf drinker, I was very pleased with the flavor and quality! The Paleo muffin was a revelation in its own right with a really fun mix of ingredients! You would never know that it’s not a normal muffin, so to speak. Plenty of outdoor seating and the staff was friendly and accommodating for all my questions! Solid A! Their food items look amazing, too. What’s not to like? ;-)

Lovely coffee shop in downtown RWC with lovely outdoor seatings. There are lots of tables in a shaded area on the sidewalk and the vibe is really relaxing and open, love it! More seats inside as well if you prefer a quieter environment.I had a cappuccino and a banana chocolate muffin. The coffee was just ok but I appreciate that the barista waited until I came back from the bathroom to pour the milk for my coffee so it was served hot. The banana chocolate muffin was pretty good.

Coffee is good but wasn’t outstanding. The physical space is nicely done (open/modern). The food is terrible; see pics of the “breakfast panini” gross like rubber.

What an amazing place for a GREAT cup of coffee. They are so accommodating...asked for a decaf latte with a mix of almond and oat milk...no problem. Delicious!

I got the lavendar latte which is decaf and not based in espresso, but I’ve had 100x better at other places. Even so, they have fantastic customer service, fun interior decor with high ceilings, and a wide array of menu items like avocado toast and apple chai and espressos!

The staff here are amazing! They’re so nice and welcoming and make such good coffee. I’ll drive out be of my way to come here for the atmosphere and drinks.

Large tables to work at inside. Open-space design, not too loud. Outside patio is shaded by trees. Fast-enough wifi. The energy bites make a yummy snack. Great place to work for the afternoon.

Some days they let you bring your dogs in to place your order some days they don’t. I went in today as I had been told it’s okay just to place the order and they wouldn’t take my order because I had a dog. This wouldn’t be so upsetting if this had never been an issue in the past and I had even asked prior to coming in. I wouldn’t have written this review If the girl would have been kind and been like “oh I’m sorry we’re cracking down because of the health department but let me take your order and bring it out for you but you know for next time” … instead she wouldn’t take my order and I was alone and had to take my dog back out side to tie up if I wanted to come back in to order coffee

Incredibly welcoming staff with great coffee! The espresso-based drinks are offered in more sizes than traditionally made. This cafe was built on the old Young’s stationary and then Young’s Ice-cream building and they’ve kept the stained glass to a nice effect. They open earlier than nearly every cafe in Redwood City with decent coffee and close later as well. The matcha latte is my favorite drink here!One area of improvement that really separates some cafes apart is the drip coffee : I’ve been told that only medium/dark roasts are offered here.

We get inconsistent quality of latte depending on the barista. there is one barista that makes it always nice, but if you wanna go early, they use cashiers to fix your coffee until main barista arrives. I would leave a 5star review if I would consistently get their best latte.

Hands down the best coffee in RWC! Their decaf is even incredible. I started buying their bags of coffee to brew at home And if you need a guilt-free sweet, their energy bites are delicious!

Drinks were excellent. Food was very good. Service was nice. Space is very large and welcoming. Great place to work on a laptop as the tables are all nice sizes. Some outdoor seating too. Great hours (they open at 6 AM for early risers like me). Only downside is that the prices are too high.

Similar to Starbucks, same imitation expresso, paid $3.25 for what they call a double expresso. If a Cuban bakery ever is opened here this place and Starbucks would go out if business, try Pilon or Bustelo expresso then you will know what real expresso is.

Service is efficient and friendly and the coffee is top quality. Bonus for the outdoor seating to bring your dog along.

I love working and hanging out in this place. I enjoy watching the videos they play on the screen. The athletes are inspirational. The downsides are its really loud there and there are only two outlets. Otherwise the coffee and hot chocolates are good.

Nice place with a good ambience. Outside seating can be bit chilly especially when it’s windy and winter time. Coffee menu is not elaborate and nothing exceptional. Food options are decent and quality is good. Overall a good place for a casual coffee with family or friends.

My overall experience was good. The store is clean and neat, the internet speed connection is good, the staff is cool and fast. The cappuccino coffee is nothing special for the price you paid on the medium cup, and I can say the same about the lagrima coffee, its just a sad lágrima.

Place is lively. Solid atmosphere and the food is great. I got the Paleo Bowl with chicken. It came out superb 👌 Highly recommended. Oh and the coffee is pretty solid as well 🤘☕

Coffee was great and the space was nice as well! However, the wifi was not working and there didnt seem to be any attempts to fix it. Additionally, most of their food menu was unavailable, as they were out of bread. Seems like they could use some improvements in logistics, and would easily be 5 stars if they could fix those two issues.

Of the coffee houses in downtown Redwood City, Coffeebars coffee is tied for first place. Its location, ambiance, friendly staff, and food selection make it my favorite. Having said that, some baristas are definitely better than others, so milage may vary when it comes to espresso drinks.

Lovely space with friendly staff and reeeallly good coffee. Interior is spacious and super beautiful, yet vibe is unpretentious and chill. Was stoked to see a diverse crowd working, reading, writing, hanging with friends and kids, on dates, having brunch...fun to hang out here! Top-notch, perfectly made cappuccino, and Im picky.

I’ve been to the one in Reno Nevada a hundred times. The one here is absolutely horrible. We waited 30 minutes, and received a horrible attitude from every person at the store. This guy with a man bun was so stoned he was practically drooling, he got our order wrong and couldn’t pour a cup of coffee to save his life. The avo toast we got came out cold, the oatmeal came out DRY and looked like (garbage). The woman making esspresso was giving us a super hard time. We had an appointment to make, and had to leave before everything even came out. Extremely disappointed.

The only reason this place gets four stars instead of five is because the only dairy milk option they have is whole milk. Other than that, food, coffee and service were all wonderful!
