In general I enjoy Ace stores, this is one of the better ones in the area. While they don’t have the largest selection it is adequate, keep in mind that Reedley isn’t a huge town and you’ll get why there aren’t ten different brands of every item once you notice the relative slow foot traffic outside. However they do keep all of the essentials in stock so you won’t leave empty handed and it’s the perfect place to make a run for some of those parts you forgot before starting work on your project. They also keep a good rotation of seasonal items so there’s plenty to browse through. This location gets bonus points for its staff though! They’re helpful and attentive but also know when to leave you alone and let you shop!

It was 3 minutes till closing and they let me go in and get some paint. Very nice of them. Always nice at this store and helpful.

Most definitely, this Ace is the Place. Found exactly what I needed, was assisted by someone who obviously knew what I needed for my project, and then I proceeded to come home and completed my job. Ill be coming back to this place, because I think they have what I really need.And the people are interested and friendly. They make one feel appreciated for shopping with them.

Ace has a wide variety of all the things I need to maintain my house, feed the birds and decorate for the holidays. The staff is very helpful and polite. Their two in-store cats add a special touch to the shopping experience! Great store!

This Reedley store is clean and organized. The only reason they arent getting 5 stars is because there wasnt an employee on the floor to help me find what I needed, AND they didnt let my kids use the bathroom. Other than that, no complaints ;)

I have recently purchased a historical house and Golden Valley Ace has been my go to for my moving in and renovation needs. Everyone is super helpful and I actually look forward to going in. I would chose this store over a big box store any day.

They have 2 cats here!!!! Yes real cats. Friendly people friendly staff. Quite clean. But not much of selection in some areas. They have cats!!! Im gonna give an excuse to buy something here just to pet the cats.

I like cats but I did catch one of the store cats taking a pee on some bags of bird seed. So whoever picks up that bag next is going to have a bad time.. Maybe just get more litter boxes for the store kitties? I was too embarrassed to tell the staff after they told me they were the bosses cats. Otherwise a really nice store, good customer service, and really cute cats who apparently hate birds.

Great service! Amazing staff and wonderful selection of great quality gear and supplies. Very rarely have I not found what I was looking for. Only thing I would note, there is 2 cats who are complete dolls and wont bother you, but if your allergic to cats it is best to not stay for longer than 30 min. At least thats when a friend started to feel off. Other than that it is the best place for all your hardware needs.

I did a remodel at this store two months ago it was one of the top five remodels I have done the family that owns the store was very cooperative and very helpful

Anytime I have ever come here the staff is so helpful whether it be to get paint, paint brushes, getting new batteries for our car keys. Martin helped us get our car key battery fixed and went above and beyond to not only put in the new battery but to make sure it was working after he did so. Horrible customer service! There is a sign in the front door that says masks are required. As I was paying I asked the cashier to put his mask on since the sign at the door says it’s “required.” The owner of the store approached me and stated it’s not a requirement and I can leave so I did, I also have a business account there and since the new owners have taken over I initially didn’t get my bill for 4 months and was charged 10% interest for late fees. I’m not sure why they switched from emails back to paper statements by mail but definitely had to pay a large fee for it.Your response shows how unprofessional your outfit is. Thanks for the confirmation and fraudulent interest charges. Things operated a lot better when the manger Margie was there. The owners obviously have no regards towards the community or their employees. #acerequiresnomask

Salesman hooked me up with a very convenient way to modify an existing swamp cooler that is insanely pushing double the cold air then it ever had....And they put my new watch battery in my watch for me....nice

The employees are friendly as you walk in the store they greet you with a smile. If theres something you are looking for there nore then happy to lead a helping hand. Just ask the staff if you cant find something they will help you find whatever is that you cant find, they know where everything is located. They are there to make you have a pleasant shopping experience. I would go back to Golden Valley Ace Hardware and highly recommend to family and friends.

A great place to find what you need for projects around the house. They have a decent size selection of power tools and paints. They had bikes out last time I was here picking up some screws for a small project, and even if they dont have what you need in stock they will check one of Ace Hardwares warehouses and order the item for you

Idiots, call to ask if a specific spray paint was in stock and was told yes there was, even asked if it was specifically the one I didnt want and was told no its not that one. Drove there and guess what? The one I specifically asked if it was not was all they had. Why is it the only help we have anywhere is incompetent? Hire people that have the ability and competence to follow simple tasks and pay them accordingly, not idiots that will work for nothing cause thats what they are worth.

The staff is amazing. I went in there because my dad needed some pipes for a sink and all I had to do was to ask and Liam was great, he was able to find every part that I needed and he put them all together. All my dad had to do was place it were he removed it from.

I went to the competitors store and had an awful experience, came to this store, My Boss and were greeted at the door then the Associate named Vince, was super friendly and helpful, took us directly to the item I was looking for, which was a newer flexible beneath the sink type extended drain (P-Trap) greatly appreciated and well shop here in the future and recommend this store to anyone and everyone.

Had a great experience yesterday. I had some trouble locating an item and I asked the cashier (Mike) for the location unlike most places he came out from behind and walked me to spot and showed me all of the options!

Excellent service !! The manager ? was well versed on where products were located. He didnt just point me in the direction, he took me there. Wish I would have gotten his name.

Good size Ace staff was freindly, helpful and gave good advice. Good overall selection of seasonal goods. Prices seem high for so items and fare for others. Parking is ample and somewhat safe I would hide my valuables and lock my door.

Ace is our go-to for most things. Why drive 20mins out of the way when we can just go down the road. Oh and they have chicks in the spring time!! And they do free UPS drop-off. The staff there is also always so nice and helpful. Especially their mice patrol =^..^=

Was not satisfied with the service, simply went for a cut for my chipped key and the employee didn’t manage to make the correct cut, was told it was “fixable”, and to come back the next day. Before I left the employee told me, “ It’s been a while since I used the manual cutter” . If you don’t have enough experience for key cutting then why do it. Could’ve used the automatic machine cutter. Went today to pick up the key, different employee said it was unfixable and there was nothing they can do since it wasn’t bought there and my key could’ve been “cheap”. Clearly employee doesn’t know what he’s talking about, key wasn’t cheap. I was hoping for a new key or some type of store credit. This is not right, not my fault that the employee doesn’t enough key cutting experience. Ace should have some certified key cutters.

This place is in Reedly, California. The guys cheated my husband on a tool, and lost a customer. The tool was listed as $9 :0O on the store wall. They charged him $23.00.. He noticed the price difference. But when asked about it, they said no, it, the tool, couldnt be exchanged or charged . They then took the $9 price tag off the wall where the tools were . My husband is aVeteran of the Air Force. He didnt serve his country so a store owner could rip him off.
