Great store. Very clean. I was very surprised at all the difference beautiful home and garden decorations they had there. The employees were super nice and helpful. The helped me to find parts I needed and giving me different options and explaining why. This is definitely a place that still believes in superior customer service. I will definitely shop here again!!

Old fashioned hardware store experience is what youre likely to find. I have to say that my experience here has been hit or miss. Sometimes the staff are overly friendly and other times you can barely get them to acknowledge you. Prices are higher here than most places however the service is what used to sell Ace and when its there its really good however when its not there I would just rather go to Lowes.

My fathers favorite hardware store there is no telling how many toys he bought here over the years. Countless pocket knives,lanterns,grills, and much more. We would eat breakfast at the Sanitary Cafe then usually go to Saunders to have a look around. Very nice time spent here!🙂🙃😊

Well maintain and stocked Ace Hardware staffed by awesome folks. They carry neat things for your home you cant find anywhere else. Their firearm section is fantastic and they stock more stuff than any other gun store in Rockingham County! Check it out.

Saunders has a variety of home improvement items, paint and outside decorations. Even though its much smaller than Lowes Home Improvement you can still find a lot of your hardware needs and the customer service is more personable. There is always someone willing to answer your questions and make recommendations.

If you need something they will have it!

I love this hardware store. Takes you back to the good old days. They generally have what you need without the hassle of a big box store.

Ad on line says they sell wallpaper, but they dont.

Just went to pick up an order I purchased online and had shipped to the store, then looked around for a few minutes. Shelves are stocked with a variety of goodies, but not overwhelmingly so like at some of the bigger big box stores. Overall I enjoyed the visit and will return when the next need arises

They never answer the phone no matter how many times you call

Very pleasant and knowledgeable people who work there. They have a good selection of firearms and the people who work the gun counter are knowledgeable about their guns. Good variety of craftsmen tools also.

They have just about everything you would need. The staff has been helpful, and friendly every time Ive shopped here. Prices are slightly higher on some items but to me its worth it because you can get personal attention instead of being blown off or sent on a wild goose chase like Lowes or Depot.

I have only shopped here once and I tell you it was the best. I live in Eden and was trying to find a wick for my kerosene heater. No store in Eden had any in stock. So I drove to Reidsville tried Walmart and Lowes with no luck. I came to saunders ace hardware, and at first I couldnt find the exact same model number I was looking for. I was starting to get really frustrated. I went to ask a gentleman if he could help me, and no luck still. The guy told me he wasnt going to give up until I found what I was looking for. I kid you not, few minutes later almost all the staff was doing what they can to help find it. Some was looking through a book with part numbers, some was using the computer and another was using his phone to help me find it. Wasnt long after that we found a universal match. Thanks guys for all your help. They also have good prices on guns too. My buddy got a brand new 9mm Taurus for $175.

I have been in and out of saunders since I was a kid my dad always said that they would have what you need or would know how to get it for you. Some of the great things about saunders is 1. you can buy one nail or eighty. Whichever works best for you. 2. Location its right here in town. 3. Check out. Im walk with a cane and I cant stand in a long line or at registers that dont work. 4. Prices. They are just as good as the big stores. You may pay a penny or two more for this or that but trust me its worth it 💯. Last but not least 5. The awesome people. Super nice helpful and know their stuff and most of them will remember you when you come back. I really cant say enough good things about them.im super glad it didnt close for good.

Saunders is a local downtown hardware store. They have everything you could ever need and the guys are very friendly if you need help finding anything. The women...not so much. They always seem to have an attitude when youre at the register. Its not just me either. I watched them as they handled several other customers and they were borderline rude... Saunders still gets 5 stars because of their selection, store layout and cleanliness.
