Definitely one of, if not, my favorite store in the midtown area. A great selection plants. All different shapes, sizes, colors. Skulls and other taxidermy items for sale as well. The staff here is very helpful when looking for plants and giving instructions on how to care for your plants when you purchase them. If you are looking for a new house plant to add, check this place out asap. Will gladly support them for many years to come.

Very cool store with a unique spin. Plants and taxidermy. The taxidermy is definitely not my thing or something I support, but for those interested in it they had a cool selection and it creates a very unique environment. The plant selection was fabulous and the overall layout of the store is very nicely done. They had a huge variety of a lot of things, including bonsai trees which was a nice surprise. The star dock is for the service. The ladies were friendly when their attention was directly on us, but otherwise it was an unprofessional environment. Three girls, including one of the owners were crowded in front around the register loudly talking about dating apps and and on their phones scrolls through tinder. I totally get it and related with what they were saying, and get that we were the only other people in the store (a young couple) but it still rang as unprofessional. When we did ask questions the owner didn’t seem quite as informed as one might expect, but she was perfectly friendly. Overall a very cool store and worth a visit.

Was a first timer yesterday and lalalaloved this store! It was so much fun to shop around, the customer service was amazing, all 4 employees were so nice and helpful. The taxidermy was not creepy like the other people have posted, it was amazing! Such an overall great experience!

Very cool store with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Taxidermy obsession is CREEPY AF though. Everywhere I turn, there was a dead animal staring back at me. Though I love the plants and the people who work there, I would never return and I prefer to spend money at stores that do not have owners who like to display dead animals. No thanks.

Holy cow! What an AWESOME place! Not the easiest spot to find (pretty sure we drove down an alley way at one point), but SO worth it! The taxidermy selection is interesting to check out, and this is an absolute haven for the plant-lovers like I am! Dare I say, their selection rivals Moana Nursery!Ill definitely be coming back here again. Easy 5/5 rating from me!

Very fun little shop with Succulents and Taxidermy. The atmosphere is great here, the interior design is very well done and gives a somewhat “Harry Potter”-esq vibe. The taxidermy can be a little off putting but they have a very wide array of interesting and uncommon succulents and plants. I was so happy that I came here yesterday because I’d been looking for a Bonsai tree and they have a few fun ones in the back! I am so excited about my new little Juniper, I was definitely not expecting them to have any but the owner told me that they carry them from time to time (every couple months she gets a few). I will definitely be coming back here for more of my plant-based needs.

Such an fascinating and wacky store! I was recommended this place by a local with no context and I was pleasantly surprised.They have a wide selections of taxidermy animal bits that ranged from affordable to“If I had the money I would.”This is a great place to pick up a taxidermy oddity for yourself or a love-one. You can also pick up some plants to if your into that.

This is one of the coolest hole-in-the-wall places in Reno. Super-well laid out, interesting items jammed into every corner. The prices waaay out of my price range, but I dont know much about taxidermy; they might be super cheap for what it is. Really cool to check out!

Absolutely the best atmosphere in this little shop! It is locally owned by two amazing and lovely ladies! It is a great place to find rare and unusual plants as well as a large selection of taxidermy and other natural oddities. If you’re looking for something in particular that they don’t have they will take your info and find it for you in your price range. Make sure you have plenty of time to look around a couple times you will find new things everywhere you look.

Natural Selection is a great curiosity and plant shop! You can find taxidermy gorgeous plants, pots, preserved insects, skeletons, and Peaches the dog sometimes. She is a great dog and brings happiness to the shop. Also a beautiful shop that is always welcoming.

I LOVEEEEEE this place omg. Most helpful and sweetest people work there and they are so knowledgeable on what my plants need or if I’m thinking about getting a new one. And they helped me with repotting some plants from home. Cutest stuff in there. One of my monthly stops for sure

Awesome organization and very very knowledgeable about the plants they sell. One of them just tried to warn me about purchasing a finicky plant, but i’ll show them! lol. The succulents, air plants, taxidermy, cobras, pufferfish, armadillo, and giraffes foot are all an interestingly affordable spectacle. You’ve got to check this place out because there’s none like it.

Marcy and Emily are super sweet and help to make sure their customers know just what theyre getting into with their purchases; be it plants and care instructions for them, or how to clean the bones they buyMarcy helped to re-pin a butterfly from its box to a frame for better display and I couldnt be happier with it!

Cool store, but too bad they are blatantly disrespecting mask policy. I walked in and two customers had no masks on and the red headed young lady behind the counter would continue to take off her mask/bandana. Very disrespectful to the other customers, including myself. I will not be coming back and will certainly recommend that fellow plant lovers take their business elsewhere.

Lovely first-time experience! The entire atmosphere is very inspiring and welcoming. The store has a huge selection and variety and everything is definitely curiosity provoking! The staff created a warm, accepting ambiance. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful for all my questions. The owner was incredibly helpful with tips and assistance for the new bonsais I purchased. If you need plants or dead things this is the place for you!!! The staff is amazingly friendly and they know almost everything you need to know about their products.

I loved the store and owners till they became anti-maskers. theres angry ant mask signs and they dont wear them, thereby putting customers at risk.

They sell all you need to custom build a terrarium. We made two, one table-top size, another one that is pill shaped and hangs from the ceiling. They have a potting bench, with many different types of decorations, so after you pick a couple plants and get those in, you customize it to look the way you want. The whole experience was pretty fun, and we would definitely recommend them.

Loved this little store! Filled to the brim with beautiful and intriguing flora and fauna. Skulls, succulents, taxidermy animals, and books abound! I wish my house could look just like this store. The woman attending the store was very welcoming and helpful. Also, the axolotls on the checkout counter were a real treat to see. I cant wait to go again!

Very cute store. I mean cute in a sense of you know that your looking for very well preserved animals, animal skeletons, plants, and other small oddities. The two ladies that run the store are very sweet and I always look forward to seeing them.

Nature at its best. Among the numerous plants are taxidermy, bones, and various animal parts. The owner, Emily, is amazing and knows a lot about a lot. Check it out. Midtown is amazing!

Awesome plants and containers. Feels like a museum where you are encouraged to touch. The displays of taxidermy were a little much foe me...but the bugs and bones were fascinating.
