I encountered a very friendly atmosphere with a staff that was attentive yet not pushy. They welcomed me and made sure they acknowledged my presence in their locale. The staff guided me to the location that would fulfill my needs and they were very accommodating while listening to my needs and requests.I would frequent this location if I was in search of art materials and a pleasant experience all around.

Literally the best art store in Reno! You wont find another place with the same customer service, employee knowledge, or selection of art supplies. And to make things better! They have an amazing selection of non-art related gifts that are perfect for someone you dont know what to get.The framing department is also amazing! They will help you get your artwork looking its best. I just had a piece framed and they took their time with me to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted.10/10 Highly recommend! 😁

Being in self-isolation, I found that my paitinging supplies were ill-suited for the volume of work I was doing. I placed an order for a paint brush kit through the everything store online. After waiting 5 days, my order was cancelled by the company.That gave me a perfect opportunity to use local business! I sent a list of the brushes I had ordered to NFA, and where the specific brushes were not available, asked for a recommendation.The brushes I got are far superior to what I ordered, and I was able to complete my collection, add in some spares, AND got stretched canvas for CHEAPER (like way cheaper) than the online place.I should have called them first! They were so helpful and quick, they saved me money, and you can tell they LOVE the joy of creating! Highly recommended for professional and novice (like me) painters alike!

Good variety of products. Knowledgeable staff. Anle to answer questions and inquiries quickly and expertly. A bit crowded and cramped but easily traversed. Can become busy and full which causes wait times to be extended but staff does show eagerness to resolve problems and provide answers and help which reduces any stress greatly. Quiet and easy going.

Fun art shop. I have been shopping here since 2006. Once they moved, I started shopping here weekly. The owner keeps pricing competitive. I have taken the time to compare prices on items I use - online and at other stores; most of the pricing here is better, plus no waiting for online order to be shipped. Should you want something they do not stock, they will order it for you. Plus, there is an art gallery downstairs.

I cant believe with my 13 year old being an artist that weve never been in there before. While we stumped them on a few things, they were still super helpful, friendly and had lots of great stuff. Add Embroidery and Ill love you guys even more... lol.

Without a doubt, the best art supply store in Reno, good prices, great staff, outstanding select and services such as printing your art work, framing etc. They also hold art classes. A locally owned business that has been in Reno NV for over 20 years. Way better than the chain stores in south Reno. It is in midtown so there are a lot of cool shops, restaurant, coffee, and bars nearby as well.

Ive been very pleased with my experiences at Nevada Fine Arts. They are very considerate and patient, I always feel my needs and wants are put first. All of my framing has been of the highest quality, and their expertise shows. I would recommend this local business to anyone. They will save you money, and their service is unbeatable.

I went to NV Fine Art for a matte or 5 for some picture framing I was doing. I knew NV Fine Art was going to be expensive but worth it because they have a phenomenal selection.I was correct! They had a great matte selection and they were huge! The other place I went to only went up to 18x20, my largest was 32x24. So yay, they had what I needed but YAY again - they cut the matte down for me for only $1 per cut! I cant fathom the travesty that would haev resulted if I attempted to cut them down myself, yikes.The customer service was freaking above and beyond - there was a slight mix up with the cuts and I wound up having to choose a new color for one of them, oops, but the guy helping me made sure I was 100% happy, and I am!

This is the best place in town for professional art supplies and framing by far. The staff is super attentive and friendly, they have all sorts of artist classes and things going on.

A small shop but well stocked if you need canvasses, paper, paint, pens and pencils, or framing and the like. Very friendly and helpful.

Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Supplies are more expensive than online, but that is to be expected for a small business and youre paying for convince and expertise. The give a discount to TMCC and UNR students, and they have a punch card system that can save you a few bucks here and then. Supplies are limited at times, but they will special order things if you need them.

This art store has so much stuff I just want to roll around in it and freak out. I would like to touch every pencil and every tube of paint. There are lots of things that cause me too drool excessively. Be very careful that you do not spend all of your money here, it is very easy to do.
