So let me just start off by saying I bought this car from Dolan Lexus on 8/15 with 65K miles on it. I was leaving work on 8/21 and backed it into a poll that I was unable to see due to extremely tinted back windows and no rear view camera. Furthermore my insurance wanted me to get it done at one of there shops and said they could’ve fixed it for around 2200$ I also got it quoted at 3 other shops which quoted me around 4800-5800 . Paramount auto body was the shop I decided to go with because one they were supposed to have rental car while my car was being worked on free of charge (when you call and they put you on hold listen to there voice recording) and two because I heard they do good work and much better than the insurance company body shop. Here is where my problem is, the day I dropped off my car they made me sign a waiver stating if there was more damage they would have to send a supplement to the insurance company for additional charges. One week later I get a EMAIL stating they’re requesting an additional 3800$ to the 5800$ they already asked for because they can’t fix the quarter panel and need a brand new one. At this point the insurance company TOTALED my brand new car. I had called back and said no I would rather drive my car to a different shop and get it fixed but apparently paramount had already taken my quarter panel apart and I was unable to drive it off unless it was towed. My insurance company told me paramount already charged me close to 3 thousand dollars to take my quarter panel off so if I were to take it to another shop i would be looking close to the same cost. Read the reviews from other people who got put in this same postion I would not recommend this place to anyone. I paid 20k for a car that got totaled for a little tiny damage on the bumper and quarter panel I have attached a picture.Turns out they offer “Loaner Cars” not rental cars and by the time I was aware there was a difference they had no loaner cars available so I had to pay for rental!
So I am driving a rented RV from Seattle. The stink inside the RV just about killed us over Dinner Pass. I called this business and talked to Alysia. She said the earliest she could get me in for service would be Feb. I asked her for advice. She was such a sweetheart. she said some folks try putting ice down the hole and driving around some more hilly areas. I so appreciated her. Her bosses should give her a raise. Shes a keeper!
Super fun ads. Awaiting estimate that started one week ago. Looks like a nice shop. Hoping to get repairs soon.
I hit a pole with my new Airstream trailer. It creased the rear bumper. I removed the bumper and brought it to Paramount to see if they could remove the crease in their hydraulic press. I talked directly with Steve the owner. He wasnt sure what they could do but was willing to give it a try. Steve called me back in 30 minutes and had it done. I worked perfect. Saved $750 on a new bumper and it looks almost new. Thanks Steve!
Wouldnt help us at all, said they were to busy.. kinda rude..
The best customer service in town. They pulled my Jeep up to me and it was completely washed, inside and out. Great people!
We got rear ended in our Class C motorhome. While the repairs took longer than expected, they did a phenomenal job and it looks brand new. Highly recommend them for RV collision repair.
Great. !!! Good positive experience. This shop has integrity and cares about their customers. I will recommend them to any and everybody.
Great service and very knowledgeable. Friendly and helpful.
Went in to introduce myself. I worked for the original owner
We brought our 5th wheel here after getting it lifted at Kro-Built down the street. They gave us an estimate of $6500 for the damage to the right rear and bumper sections. My insurance had pre-approved the quote. I tried calling them numerous times while they had it to try and get updates before finally getting through to Peggy, who is very overwhelmed. I was told they had to order one more part (a seal) and that it just needed some clean up. This was 5 weeks in. I finally received a call to come get it. I also received an email from my insurance company that a new claim had been submitted. I called my insurance and apparently Paramount had asked for another $5100. I asked for a copy of the quote. In the quote had right rear tail lamp listed. In the original quote it had the same thing. So, they were double charging. When I asked the owner about that, he said that the original was to remove and reinstall the tail light and the 2nd was to replace it (it wasn’t even damaged). Mind you, we had been charged over 63 hours of labor @ $139 an hour to fix my 5th wheel. When I asked him why he’s charging me to remove the tail light and reinstall it when I’m already paying $139 an hour in labor x63, he said who told you that? I said you just said that in the office…to which point he started flipping through the papers and ignored the question. They also charged me for things like license plate lights when my license plate doesn’t even have a light on it. My wife had asked him why the cost had almost doubled from the original quote. He said that happens in almost every instance. (ok, this is the biggest part of my entire feedback…”THE COST IS DOUBLE THE QUOTE ALMOST EVERY TIME”. His words, not mine). My wife said that we were never contacted and they just did it without asking…that our rates were going to skyrocket. His response was that it doesn’t matter how much as long as there’s a claim that our rates would go up. Be aware when going here and dealing with insurance claims that these people are shysters and will screw you and your insurance company over. Part of the quote was to fix the bumper and trim. They did not replace the left trim which is bent up and warped. I showed him and he had the audacity to ask me if that was part of the repair. I said, it was fixed on the right side, but not the left, why is that? He said they could resubmit to our insurance and get that fixed. I was outta there.
Ive been waiting a month, for them to get back to me. Ive not been happy with the customer service.
Although they were very pleasant and professional, they did more damage than good. When we brought our RV home the auto steps didnt work, the onboard generator would not start, and the house battery was dead. Our RV is now in a different shop trying to fix this stuff so we dont know what else has become a problem if anything. Paramount didnt offer to fix any of it they gave us some possible problems over the phone. Never again will we go back..
Very friendly and very nice to give you information.
They did great! Winterized and diagnosed some issues, their pricing was affordable.
We were travelling through Nevada when we had a blow out on our tent trailer that required body work repairs. We are old and new to trailer camping as a way to escape the covid. We also blew the head gasket on our car and had to rent a car and stay in hotels and were so distressed when our simple efforts to escape the covid put us in more contact with people than we had since March! These guys were absolutely the best! Their professionalism, attention to detail, compassion, and dependability were so amazing. We could not have been in better hands and highly recommend them to anyone with car or trailer problems. Steve, Norm, Peggy, Carol and all the others that worked on our problem -- Thanks to you in a big way! We finally made it home to Portland, Oregon!
Hands down an outstanding experience. We had damage to our travel trailer and we are newbies. Extremely professional, transparent on the work, great ideas on how to solve problems.
Great service, they were very good at keeping in touch with me about how things were going with my RV.
On vacation 3 weeks ago and ac and heater went out went to paramount and bought a new thermostat, still need more went to the repair dept.and talked to Norm, he said I should take it out (basement type) as he was booked for 2 weeks. The directions he gave me were great and he had it fixed fast and I didt feel like I was ripped of.We will go back as needed even if I have to drive 4 hours to get there.
After a rear impact accident, I chose to bring my Jeep here. Tim and Susan were amazing in their customer service and knowledge. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the hard work and professionalism in bringing my car back to its original state. Highly recommended!
Most professional, caring, and reliable shop in town!
A rare occurrence to find an honest mechanic but these guys are it! The owner Steve has gone above and beyond to make things right and provide the highest level of service and technical expertise. Don the mechanic has been great. Peggie at the office has been really professional and caring. Overall cant ask for much more from an RV service center. Ive been taking my RV to them for the last few years and going to continue to do so!! When Im on the road its good to know that my RV is running perfectly having been serviced by Paramount. Thanks for treating it as your own.
Havent had an experience with their Auto Body Shop as of yet but their RV Techs are very knowledgeable and courteous. We had our Motorhome in for a fridge exhaust recall and fixed it right away while we waited. Would highly recommended.
Let me just say that Paramount is absolutely the best! They helped me tremendously with my insurance claim and the work to my vehicle was amazing.
Paramount did body work on my motorhome. The most important thing for Steve was to do excellent work. The job came out beautiful. Communication was good and they did the work on schedule.
Tim was very professional and informative while doing my estimate. Lisa was wonderful! She is so friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. What an asset she is to this company. My car looks like new again; great workmanship. All around an outstanding experience. Thank you Paramount!
The team at Paramount did an amazing job with the orange Jimmy on the pictures here. That is my Jimmy by the way. Just amazing work!!! Pleasure to do business with this team!
I want to tell you how happy we are with the excellent service we received yesterday. The day before leaving home for our winter South, we had an incident with our trailer steps. Now, how to get them replaced when we dont want to stay too long in any place on our route??We pulled in to Paramount near 11:30 am. We were very lucky and happy to find new steps and a new grab-bar in stock in their parts department. The nice lady doing the Bookings was tearing out her hair, wondering how on earth she could fit us in ... I heard her mutter that she is currently booking into November and that she has people who have been waiting a month ... . The technician commented to her that he could knock it off after lunch .Thanks VERY MUCH to both of them for their efforts on our behalf and their work to fit us in. The job is complete and we are able to continue on our way South to Mexico for the winter! And, our apologies to others who have had their own wait-times extended due to Paramount stepping up to do our emergency repairs.
I was so impressed with Paramount’s customer service. I thought that was a thing from the past. It’s so nice to be treated as a valued customer and would highly recommend checking them out.
Hands down the best RV repair facility I have ever been to, and unfortunately, Ive been to a lot. From start to finish, the people here are knowledgable, effective, helpful, and truly friendly. The office staff is informative, professional, and efficient. The repair techs are pros. Theyre the kind of people who get to the bottom of a problem and fix it right, and fix it for good, which I find is rare these days. They are experts in what they do. And theyre also super friendly and helpful to boot.We were in the middle of a cross country trip when we needed the repairs, and they couldnt have been more accommodating. They made a stressful situation easy. Everyone kept us up to date on the repair process from start to finish and went above and beyond to help us in unrelated issues more than once. I cant say enough good things about them.
We hit an 8 foot clearance bar in the Las Vegas Airport and took out our air conditioner and fan on our conversion van leaving holes in the roof. Paramount was able to schedule us into their shop, acquire the parts, and have us back on the road again in 48 hours. They recognized that we could not drive cross country with our RV in its damaged condition, they got us back on the road fully repaired. The job was done efficiently, correctly and timely for a reasonable price. They were friendly, cheerful and were very helpful. I would highly recommend Paramount Auto Body and RV Center.
No warranty work
My travel trailer hot water heater was not working, and after calling repair shop in Reno, I call Paramount and was treated nicely. I scheduled a time to bring my trailer in to have it repaired. On the day I dropped it off, I was treated warmly and even met the technician that would be working on my trailer. After a few days I got a call that it was ready, and as I picked it up and paid my bill (which was a lot cheaper than I planned) I left with my trailer with a smile on my face hoping that it was fixed. I got home, hooked it all up and YES, I had hot water. I am so happy I called Paramount!
Very friendly and helpful staff, and they were able to take care of my water pump problem right away. Don the Service guy was very helpful, and was able to answer several unrelated questions, including helping me to find the right part to order for my awning. Thanks for all the help, guys!
Paramount works for the vehicle owner and not for any insurance company. Repairs are done right without cutting corners or using inferior parts or products.
There are no words for how awesome these guys are . I had the opportunity of working with one of the owners Steve. My family and I are traveling from Texas and we got in an accident and jack knifed our fifth wheel in South Lake Tahoe causing serious damage . I called every rv body shop from south lake to Reno and no one wanted to help me. Then I finally got a number from a family member to paramount in Reno, I called and the office and the office manager Peggy took down everything and told me she would have one of the owners get right back with me. Not even an hour later I got a call from Steve one of the owners. Steve informed me that RV shops are pretty busy during this time but he could squeeze me in the very next day. The following day I brought my fifth wheel in and met with Steve. He took the time to go over everything with me . He was very professional and honest which for us our experience outside of Texas integrity is hard to come by these days. These guys went above and beyond from the office to outside in the shop these guys kill it . Anyone who writes a bad review is just arrogant and plain stupid, not much we can do about that percentage of people in the US.Thanks YA’lllllll!!
Excellent people quality work
We were on vacation and had a couple of questions to ask about our RV so we stopped at Paramount. We were quickly helped and received our answers. At that time we also noticed our vent was broken. Even though we did not have an appointment for a repair, the service person that helped answer the questions we had went ahead and quickly fixed the vent. Now thats Customer Service!
We purchased a 2010 Carriage Cameo in the Spring of 2018. We had issues with one of the slides from Day 1. It wouldnt go out, wouldnt come back in, etc. Paramount was recommended to us by our neighbor so we took it there. They put a new motor in the slide and it seemed to work okay for a couple of weeks while parked on our property. When we went to pull the slide in, it wouldnt move so we called Paramount about it as we were about ready to leave on a trip. Jeff and another technician came out to look it over. They worked for several hours and got the slide in safely. Since we were in a time crunch we had to take the unit and just not use that slideout on our trip. We were told to bring the 5th wheel back in after we returned home. We were not charged for that “home visit.” We brought the unit back at a later date and Paramount worked on it diligently. They had it for about 2 months trying to troubleshoot what was going on with the slide. They kept rebuilding things, replacing pins etc. but the gears kept breaking and the slide would not come back in each time this happened. It was finally determined that the parts company who sent the new motor (that actually matched up with our unit) was sending a motor that had too much torque which was what kept breaking the gear, pins etc. The point is Paramount spent a LOT of time trying to figure this out and they didn’t give up! They had our original motor so they retrieved it and totally rebuilt it and put it in the slide with other improvements that they made (basically, it’s now probably over-built!) Everything works beautifully now. It took a little while but it was well worth the wait. The kicker of this entire story is that they didn’t charge us one cent. We know there were countless hours of labor involved as we would drive by now and then and could see them working on it. Paramount stood by their original repair that failed and we had paid for; they made it right. The owners Steve and Tim are amazingly honest and conscientious; they were even honest about things that they never really had to bring up. Peggy, CSR in the office was very helpful in this whole process as well. Jeff, the primary mechanic/service tech on the job was always ready to answer our questions and keep us updated. Yesterday, my husband went to finally pick up the RV. He has an injury and is on crutches; I myself, broke my back and am in a big brace so right now it’s tough for us to do anything physical. Paramount cleaned the inside of our unit and washed the outside of the RV for us because they felt they caused us a lot of inconvenience! It’s a shame there are not more companies these days that abide by these standards. We were unaware they did auto body repair so next time we need that, we’ll be taking the problem to them. Now we can roll down the road next week, feel safe and have peace of mind. Thanks to everyone at Paramount! On a 1 – 10 scale, we’d have to give them at least a “12”.Mark and Marlene C.
We were on our way to Burning Man and our RV had a water leak. We were very concerned that it was going to take a lot of time and cost a lot of money. Much to our surprise we were greeted by super friendly staff AND they diagnosed the problem immediately. They fixed our problem in minutes and the cost was a third of what we guessed it would be!
They do excellent repairs. My moterhome goes in this month.
Paramount Auto Body always does top quality work they always make your car look like it came off the showroom floor after an accident I would recommend them to anyone
Mark & Tim really helped me a TON with a botched repair job from a well known repair shop in Reno and a insurance company out to stick it to me. The people at Paramount didnt accept anything other than what was right, despite being pressured by the insurance company. Paramount fought for (and won) a new frame to be installed vs. the repair that the other place tried to slip past me.Apparently body filler is an acceptable way to repair a bent frame-Just ask the idiots over at Bondo-Is-Amazing auto body. If you see a stagecoach on the sign, youll know youre in the right place. If you find yourself there and happen to be in good hands as well, run. Run now.My 2013 Nissan Xterra is as good as new, a good thing since it had just over 9k miles on it when I was hit. Really cant say enough about the people and quality of work at Paramount. No smoke blown, just get it done right type of people.
They fixed my RV better than new friendly staff all around.
As the saying goes, burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me.We rented a camper trailer from Paramount 2 years in a row. Year one- we rented a newer Aljo trailer with solar panels to charge the batteries during the day. We were headed down to the Mammoth area so it was cold at night and in the morning. The batteries did not work all weekend. We didnt have light or a heater. We were miserable and cold all night until the sun could warm the trailer. When we returned they apologized and said the panels were not hooked up properly. They did not make it right other than to tell us that if we rented again they would include the generator for free.Year two- We decided to give them another try as the staff was pleasant and they were going to send us out with a generator this time. The generator was old and HUGE, it filled up the back of our full size SUV, whatever at least we would have power. We rented the Bullet trailer, very nice trailer. Went back to the same campground, set up the trailer and found out that the sewage tank was full TO THE TOP with the previous renters raw sewage. We couldnt use the bathroom. Had to pack up the trailer the next morning and drive 30 miles to the nearest dump station. We lost half the day, the fuel to tow 60 miles round trip and had to dump/smell someones sewage. That night the batteries went dead in the night while we were sleeping. When we returned the unit we were told that the solar panels could not charge the batteries during the day because the batteries were old and would accept a charge. NO POWER OR HEAT again as we could not run the giant and extremely loud generator all night, there were others in the campground. For all of our troubles...... refunded 1 nights charge of $153. Not even the cost of my fuel for the 60 mile round trip to the dump station or the dumping fee or the lost vacation time at the dump station. One night...Do not work with this company, they have very bad business practices. There are other companies in Reno that rent camper trailers.
Whenever we’ve needed cosmetic repairs for our 2016 Roadtrek SS Agile, the work had been very satisfactory! That’s why we’d continued to come to Paramount over the last few years!Regarding why we’ve given them one star: We talked to Paramount first with our complaint, but never heard back from them; therefore, we thought we should share our experiences with others to give them a “heads-up”. When you call to schedule an appointment regarding needed repairs (especially mechanical, electrical, etc.), make sure the work that you’re requesting can actually be done at the facility! We had called twice in the past, where our request for a service was met with the scheduler not knowing what we were talking about, but scheduled an appointment anyway, leaving us feeling that the service department would be able to do the work. A few weeks ago we scheduled an appointment to repair the VoltStart. On our appointment day, we travelled 1-1/2 hours from our home in South Lake Tahoe with two cars (as suggested by the scheduler), in case we needed to leave the Roadtrek for a few days. When we arrived we were told that they were unable to repair the VoltStart. (Also, the two people we talked to hadn’t even heard of the term, VoltStart.) It was a bit upsetting that we had to use up a half day and fuel to a service center that was unable to perform the service. So…just as a warning to those of you scheduling an appointment: Make sure the work that you’re requesting can be performed before you show up at their facility. Ask the scheduler/office manager to ask the Roadtrek mechanic if the service can actually be done there before making the appointment.Sincerely, Pam and Gene Matteucci
Dont let their TV Commercials fool you. They are not Honest.
The most helpful people I every dealt with . Got part in minutes was a great experience 😎
Thank you Peggy and Paramount RV! During my stay at the Tahoe-Donner Campground in Truckee, CA with full hook ups, the Dometic awning LED lighting strip failed on my 2016 Coach House 261XL. My next destination was to be primitive camping in and around Sun Valley and Ketchum, ID. Needless to say, the option of flipping the switch to On to activate the LED lighting is a valuable option....if it works. Prior to visiting Paramount RV, I discovered that it was only the Dometic LED lighting strip that was faulty. I called and spoke to Peggy and she was so nice and accommodating to schedule an appointment for me early the following week on my way to Sun Valley. Peggy really did me a big favor to squeeze me in on short notice. I told her the Dometic LED part that I needed and she transferred me to Matt in their parts department and he gladly ordered the part I needed with no money up front. The day before my appointment I called to confirm my appointment with Peggy with hope that the LED part had arrived in time. Peggy said yes, its here and we will see you at 8:00am for my appointment. I promised her that I would not be late and I arrived at there super nice shop at about 7:15am.At that time I was greeted by a great guy named Don T. As it turned out Don was the technician that performed the work as true professional with (weeks...just kidding!) years of experience and a true gentleman and super nice guy. I highly recommend Paramount RV! Thank you all at Paramount! p.s. Even if you are a do it your-selfer do yourself a favor and visit Paramount RV. Added bonus, super convenient location just off Interstate 80.
You get a good feeling and thorough quality work and service!
Great place for rv repain and parts.
Excellent work ! My car was rear ended and after the repairs it looks just like it did driving it off the lot when bought it. The staff is also very friendly & professional, Thank you Susan & Tim !
They dont do warranty work so dont waste your time asking. Pretty rude on the phone.
Absolutely awesome people and happy to help in a time of need
Five months ago I busted up my RV with a gas station cement block. Stopped into Paramount to start the ball rolling, five months later Ive got a forged $15,000.00 Check that the owner Steve forged, deposited and now is going to court with my insurance company. All of this stuff going on while Im waiting patiently for Paramount to call and tell me to bring my rig in. Run away from this horrible corrupt place that hasnt any problem forging your insurance checks disappearing for two weeks deer hunting and than act very defensive when I ask whats up. They are obviously in serious cash flow problems so steer clear away.
Very helpful and friendly
Staff unwelcoming, not the friendliest place in town. I felt let down, really would like to support a local company.
Our car is beautiful!
Only phone interactions
Friendly people and they stand behind their work.
Great service!! Recommend to anyone!!!
We were headed home when we encountered a problem with the trailer brake and signal lights on our trailer. The guys at Paramount jumped on it and had us back on the road headed home in less than two hours. You cannot ask for better service. Id post a ten if I could.
Great place finding parking is a pain
Excellent staff, efficient, friendy
At least have the courtesy to email or call the customer back.
The place is Paramount
Very busy.
