Reno Rock did a great job helping me with my project. I over-ordered, and also had a small space for delivery. They worked with me for the best delivery option which wouldnt destroy existing landscaping, and also reduced my yardage hassle- free. Delivery was prompt, drivers were awesome, polite, and helpful, and they didnt damage one flower despite the tight delivery space.Very pleased with the customer service, communication from everyone, and pricing. If I ever need rock, I know where I am going. Highly recommend!

So according to their calculation I had to pay 80$ for the rock I wanted.However, a 0.5 cubic yard of that same rock is $100 bucks, and there is 100 gallons in a 0.5 cubic yard. So please do a simple math: 100$ for 100 gallons (20 buckets) which is 5$ per bucket VS. 80$ for 20 gallons (4 buckets) which is 20$ per bucket.So I paid (have the receipt and all) 4 times more (yes 400% more) for the same amount of rock had I ordered by 0.5 cubic yard increment.This is absurd. What if I simply want 4 buckets (20 gallons) just to top up my existing ones which I have purchased in 0.5 cubic yard increments from Reno Rock before?I would understand if you want to price your per bucket a little higher than per cubic yard but NOT 400% more :((( maybe just 10-20% more would be acceptable.Please please please fix your pricing. I paid 4 times more for the same amount of rock and the math is clear :((((( Please please please fix your pricing and then I will change my star rating to 5 and then I can purchase more rocks from you every time I need few/several buckets to fill portions of my yard (which will happen quite often). Please, your 400% more pricing simply doesnt make sense. Its very simple.

Great experience with Reno Rock. We visited their site on N. Virginia to pick out the river rock we liked. We ordered 7 yards of rock. Prices and delivery were competitive for the area. Reno Rock was supposed to deliver on Saturday, but we asked last minute if we could do Friday and they fit us into their schedule. Delivery was easy and very professional. Would use them again in the future.Also, the website shows a processing fee for using a credit card to pay. To avoid the fee, we gave the delivery driver a check. Somewhat inconvenient, but know that there are ways to not have to pay the credit service charge.

Just got my delivery. Ted was amazing! I asked him to back through my backyard fence (which the opening was maybe less than a foot larger than his truck) and he did it with ease! He was kind to my kids and honked the horn on the truck (my kids love that)! He was also willing to put half of the load in one location and the other half in a second location. Reno Rock keep this guy around!

Reno Rock was timely with a soil delivery order. They got back to us, sometimes within hours, while we were figuring out payment and delivery times. After delivery though, we discovered a decent amount of fresh manure (I mean WET type of fresh) in our Full Circle brand Kick soil. It began attracting flies to our garden beds. I checked with Full Circle first to make sure that there wasnt supposed to be manure included. They confirmed that it was not. So I reached out to Reno Rock because something has happened - either they forgot to clean out the truck bed ahead of time or they grabbed from the wrong pile - no response. Its been 3 weeks and 3 emails later and they are refusing to even respond to us. Not professional, team.

An large assortment of different rock for your landscape desires when planning your curb-appeal. Many of these show wonderful color changes when wet or when a water seal product is used to display the change everyday.The female staff in the store are friendly and quite helpful, though going in with some knowledge of the area (square footage/ inches depth) you wish will help them help you. Also take a larger enough tarp to cover the floor/ walls so you dont pay for material that will sift thru a tailgate onto the road going home and especially if you use a flatbed. Tarping a load of bark is a must, bottom, sides and top to ensure you get home with all you bought and it can lend to assisting in unloading by dragging the whole lot out at once, hence less cleanup. Also law enforcement tickets for losing material on the streets is a real nasty pinch in the pocket.

I had a great first experience with Reno Rock and am actually in the process of ordering another round of rocks from them. My first order I had within 8 hours of placing the order which was surprisingly quick considering other places in town gave me a week out delivery date. The payment method needs work because it doesn’t calculate correctly what is initially quoted but not a big deal and easily fixable. All of the “Karens” complaining about the customer service on here are honestly irritating because that’s not true. People feel so entitled to a company kissing your behinds the entire process and that’s not realistic. This company is professional, efficient, and effective.

This place used to be great. I used them for many jobs but they have taken a huge nose dive lately. Rocks are rocks but efficiency and especially customer service have tanked. Today I watched the lady up front refuse to put a mask on when a pregnant lady and her toddler walked in and asked her nicely if she could put one on. That really toasted my buns. I personally dont care about masks but after that I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Called and ordered 15 cubic yards of rock, lady on the phone asked if I wanted to pay cash, check to the driver or credit card. I choose credit, was told the total amount and said okay. To my surprise when I checked my card the amount charged was not what I was told or agreed to. The lady failed to notify me that there was a 3.99% service fee for using a credit card. If I had know I would have used a different method to pay. Additionally I had to ask the driver for a copy of the invoice, he had to text it to me. Lastly was never called by the driver like I was informed I would be. Not happy with the customer service.

Very disappointed that they sell the per bucket rocks 4 times more expensive than a bucket would cost if buying 0.5 cubic yard.Its very weird and simply wrong. I hope they fix that and I for one will again be their customer.You can confirm this yourself:Go ask for a bucket of 3/8 Salt and Pepper, they will say it will be $6.6 (which is $66 / 10, 66 being the price of a yard)Now each bucket is 5 gallons and each yard is exactly 201.97 Gallons. That is more than 40 buckets.Now the Math is clear --> $66 for 40 Buckets worth VS. $6.6 for 1 BucketThat makes the per bucket pricing 4 times higher.@RenoRockTransport: Guys, please do something about this. It doesnt make sense

She is ago I gave a five star review because he really helpful man has this place gone downhill. We drove in a few days ago looking at rock the girl was totally uneducated in anything, call on the phone I ask a question about some rock no we don’t have that in stock and I said do you think you can get it if I order some yards, she says no and that was it so I just hung up on her I’m like you Gotta be kidding me. I decided I’m going elsewhere and I did. They just lost about five or $6000 from us. You guys need to have some people who are educated in the sale of rocks and stones. Frustrating!!

They were very busy when I arrived it was a extremely hot day. The person assisting me (male) was able to assist my rock needs with compassion and knowledgeably. Thanks for sending your most UNFRIENDLY driver. 7/3/20 - 10:40 am. Reno Rock driver, never called in advance, showed up without a mask on when clearly the laborer directing him was wearing one, and the guy had the lousiest, unfriendly first impression with us both. When we changed our mind about the dumping spot, he visibly rolled his eyes at us. Too bad the drivers are not taught the value of customer retention. In the fastest growing city in Nevada we have other choices for spending our money.

Well I must say that the staff at the ordering desk was nice and helpful the delivery time was speedy but that is about where the good stuff ends.Was told one time span ended up missing a call two hours earlier than what I planned for so I had to wake up quickly get out to where I needed to be. Following that when we talked to the rep they said we could arrange for the driver to drag the lode so we did not have a huge pile... Well driver got out there and could not for the life of himself figure out how to drag the dirt here I am a computer programmer looking at this going I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO YOUR JOB! I remained clam and quiet but inside I was boiling over I spent hours trying to spread the rock by rake and now I will have to pay someone or rent a tractor myself to do the job. Not because of how much we ordered no I could have done it easily if I did not have to drag the dirt before I could spread it. That is if the dirt is not stolen before I can arrange for that to be taken care of like the truck, trailer, propane tanks, and several other things cause the property is not under 24 hour surveillance.This I feel was a bad representation but for as much as we paid I would have thought the dumping would have been simple. I will unfortunately have to look else where for landscaping needs in the future and suggest you shop around too and ask about driver qualifications. Who knows maybe their driver was just BSing me cause he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. The delivery fee was indeed a wasted 75$ cause its gonna to take more than that just to get it spread now.I am editing this cause maybe I am being too harsh I mean one star is a bit extreme however, professionalism is not just about treatment. Professionalism I feel is more about providing the service that is paid for and if that service is not provided as it is sold then what can be said.

My wife called on Saturday for a delivery of gravel. The office personel was very friendly and said that they could deliver it Monday morning. The driver called me at 7.45 am and said he was on the way. He not only showed up at 8.20 but dropped the rock right where I wanted it. Awesome price and awesome job!!! Thank you!

Went in on Saturday to order 10 yards of rock to be delivered Monday. When we arrived it was busy, we stood in line (6 feet apart). I was directed passed the lady at the counter and had my order recorded by a man at the desk in the office. The whole experience felt like a cattle line for the slaughter house, which given the fact they were busy and COVID-19 days, I put that thought in the back of my mind. I needed fabric along with my order, the guy stated the size I requested would be in Tuesday morning and they were currently out of stock, so we set up delivery for Tuesday. I then was sent to the counter to pay. As I was leaving I walked back into the office to find out what time it would be delivered Tuesday, Guy at desk said Ill put you down for a AM delivery. I called Tuesday Morning to verify the fabric had arrived to them and the driver would have the fabric.The first lady I spoke to was only there helping answer phones. She was as helpful as she could be and I was appreciative of that. She said that the other lady was on hold that had the answers and would call me back in a couple minutes. 40 mins later I called back. Now I was told that I was never charged for the fabric and also the size I needed didnt come in. I like solutions so I asked for a different size to at least get the job done. We settled on different size and I would pay driver. She said she would get a hold of the drive and make sure he came back to get the rolls of fabric. At 13:00 I called back, now talked to the guy behind the desk, (so much for AM delivery). I was very professional each time I spoke anyone. I asked him if there were any issues and would I receive my order today? He assured me I was next and the fabric would be included along with receipt. At 15:00, I called back and spoke with a lady about when I would receive my order and I explained to her all events leading up to this point. I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication (I NEVER received even a courtesy call, which would of satisfied my needs for a couple days). She put me on hold to reach out to the driver, when she came back she advised the drive was not answering and she would call me back in a bit. About 15 to 20 mins later she calls back (1st call I received from them ALL DAY) to advise that they do not have the rock I ordered, but assured me they would receive it at 7 AM tomorrow and get it at tome first thing.At this point I had just lost a full day waiting on this, even though they did not call Im sure someone with an operations manager, or supervisor title would know they were out of inventory and could have advised me of that during one of several conversations I had throughout the day with Reno Rock. The lady that processed the return of my money was pleasant.I dont like to point out problems without having a solution. So, SOLUTION - communication could have prevented everything from duplication of work to gaining a loyal customer and word of mouth advertising for years to come.Maybe your experience will be better. Reno Rock does have the cheapest prices of the 3 in Reno. Who knows maybe a forth will pop up one day in the future.

I showed up a half hour before closing on Christmas Eve. (I was prepared for some attitude). Instead I recieved excellent service from everyone there. Theyre friendly and dont mind answering alot of questions. They even brought up the front loader and weighed an 800 lb rock I was interested in. Im not sure what time it was when I left but it was well past closing.Thanks for all your help.Mike

I was sure that I was going to be hosed. I was ready to be mad on the internet and rage about not getting my delivery. At 830 Friday night dude called me and said he was en route. This was well beyond business hours, and not having it tomorrow would have cost me a lot of cash, but now I have my material and I am glad. I did say I would take the last delivery, as I would be at work for most of the day. So, thanks for getting it here and thanks to your driver for working a long shift.

Prices beat anywhere in town and the customer service was excellent. I over estimated how much soil I needed for my garden, and my truck simply couldnt handle the weight when an employee loaded 2 yards of triple mix in the bed of my 1500 gmc truck. I went to the office and asked if I could get a refund on 1 yard and it wasnt a problem at all. Even an employee helped me shovel out the extra yard from the bed of my truck. Great experience.

I ordered 6 cubic yards rock to be delivered. However it was delivered to the wrong house.A neighbor got my number from the invoice left in the mailbox called me to let me know the rock was delivered to her house. She also called reno rock stating that they delivered the rock to the wrong house. She was told they would call her back.I called reno rock and explained how my order was delivered to the wrong house. The lady on the phone said she would call me back. I waited an hour and a half and called back at 2:45p and spoke to 3 different people, all asking me if I could just work the rock from where it was at. I advised was not possible since I would be moving the rock by myself with buckets and dollys. The gentleman finally asked what I wanted. I stated that I wanted to have the rocked delivered to my house so I wouldnt have to haul it an extra 50ft. He advised me that some one would be there at 3:45p to move the rock. I waited from from 3:30 to 4:30 and called back checking when the rock would be moved. That same gentleman argued with me stating that he heard the girl who sits right next to him call and state they will be there tomorrow at 9:30. I explained to him that I did not receive a call and that he had said 3:45. He still argued about the phone call and read the number that was called.The number called was the neighbor. So not only as the purchaser was not informed of the changes. I never received an Im sorry for the error we will fix it. I had to call back several times. I understand error happens but you need to take ownership of it and a simple Im sorry works instead of cant you just work it from there. So hopefully my rock that I paid for will be moved to my house in the morningVery unhappy customer

This company is so irresponsible i went in on a saturday and put in an order for delivery for the same day i specifically asked the guy that help me Roger if they did have delivery for that day if not we were going to take it with us. Roger looked at the clock and said no we do have time, I had a project to start on Sunday hires people rented equiptment and the delivery never showed up. I called them 5 times and left messages no one ever got back to me. They never put in the order for delivery but they did take my money. On top of that the guy that helped me is talking to customer with a mouth full of tabaco its disgusting. Dont go here if you want your stuff delivered when you need it.

Will never use them again. Purchased a bunch of rock, soil, and Dg from them driver was extremely grumpy. Had to do 4 deliveries two of them were doing all the way to Carson. Driver was careless about dumping the rock and ended up blocking areas of my culdesac called them and sent pictures. There answer was they can’t do anything to fix we we can’t rent equipment from them to fix there error or we get 15% off our next purchase. They’ll call our HOA if any complaints are made. Poor way to do business.

The customer service was like I was interrupting him from doing nothing at all. The delivery driver was very nice and professional. He dropped off in a tight space. I needed the rock but the young customer service person was not worth being paid minimum wage.

I was on the freeway going west on 80 to south 580 when one of their trucks entered from 4th going west. I was next to him at the back when he decided to get over in my lane to the left. He looked and saw me there turned his blinker on for half a second before coming into my lane, I had to slam on my brakes to avoid being hit, hit my horn and he just continued. Then he started to get in the other lane and almost took the back end off a car in front of him. I called the business to let them knowknow . The girl answered rudely Reno rock please hold click . Didnt ask if I would mind .Then I heard to clicks and some guy answered as he was burbing in my ear, who are you holding for and I replied did you have to burb in my ear as your answering, then I got hung up on . So yes they are the worse in customer service. I wish I didnt have to give a star to leave this review because they definitely dont deserve any stars from anyone.

Really bad customer service... Didnt tell me where to go and where to give the paper to the operator. Do I just drive around until I find the bark Im looking for? Do I just sit there? Or do I look for operator in one of the buildings? Or does he drive to me up front and I follow him to the bark? Ooor do I find the bark and sit there and wait for operator to find me? All i asked the guy was where do i go and he just pointed in a direction in the office and turned away. So I drove my truck around until I found the bark. Sat there 10 min and saw someone else loading other customers rock and I was way before them. So walked up to office and said excuse me to other guy with my palms up and shrugging my shoulders and said can you please tell me whats going on? The other guys didnt tell me what to do or where to go. This guy said dont throw your arms up in th air at me. I said what? He said quit throwing your arms in air at me. I thought and said ok I apologize but can you please tell me where to go and do? He said he apologizes too and I walked back to my truck of coarse now saying wow! People talk with their hands all the time. Not a big deal. Not like I was pointing my finger at you. Thats wrong! Talking with your hands is a reaction when talking and getting agitated. Didnt mean anything about wanting to know how to get my bark. Thats it! The operator guy was nice saying hello how you doing and said I just need the yellow copy and lets get your truck in right position then loaded it twice and said bye thank you and have a great day. Thats who they need up front.

Unfortunately the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The woman who handles the accounting (is also an owner) is extremely rude and speaks through an assistant when any situation comes up that she does not want to be bothered with. Asking for a billing STATEMENT is completely out of the question at this company. At one point when I was actually able to speak with her (accounting), she told me (as the customer) that she does not have time to do statements and if I want one I need to call her every month to ask for it. Seeing how I am also in accounting at my company this seemed a little backwards as I would NEVER ask a customer to call and remind me to bill them or to pay their bill off of multiple invoices without a statement to look over. The excuse given was We are a small business with minimal staff and I just dont have time to do that Sounds like a really good way to lose business for such a simple fix. Sad to see so many small businesses losing out all because the customer service is awful.

Your company only gets one star because I cant give you a review without giving you one, without a doubt, the worst company to try and collect any money from, you hire companies to come do the work that you cant do, and refuse to pay what you owe, not the first time for your company, is that a requirement for getting hired on to your company, the ability to weasel your way out of payment?Yeah, in the middle of the job you you double the material, usually you get charged more.weird

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever worked with. I ordered 10yds of Base to be delivered on a Saturday. I had a back hoe with operator waiting for the delivery that never showed, They didnt even have the decency to make a phone call and tell me they were not coming. I started calling them at 9:30 in the am with no answer or call back.Use any other Rock company but this one!
