I bought a 2018 LSV 23 from a private party in Sacramento. Unfornately, I called larson marine and they told me a 410 monsoon would be enough power for Lake Tahoe. If your buying a boat in reno or lake tahoe area call Ulimate Marine Services and sales. They will recommend a 450+ motor. On top of it Larson Marine put the wrong prop on my boat 2247 acme and Bill and Bob at Ultimate Marine recommended 2773 prop. I spoke to both Bill and bob and they spent a ton of time with my on figuring out the correct prop for my boat. On top of it, bob the sales manager taught me a ton about my boat and is willing to come out on and show me how to use it as well. I would highly recommend Bill and Bob for any boat sales or service. Dont go larson marine. go to Ulimate Marine!!!

We had Ultimate Marine install a brand new engine last summer and were verbally assured it was under warranty. They refused to offer a written one (that should have clued me in to the way they operate). After a misunderstanding about the winterization, the owner told me that neither I, nor my boat is allowed on their property and they would not honor the warranty on the $8000 engine they installed for us.2019 summer shocker: the engine won’t get out of idle mode and all the other boat repair places are backed up for months.This could not have been a worse experience!By the way, I reported to Better Business Bureau and Ultimate Marine refused to respond to the complaint.DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. Very easy to schedule appointments for any level of maintenance. They have the largest premier indoor storage facility in the reno/sparks area also, have a very friendly staff that are easy to work with.
