Absolutely world-class service! Couldn’t be happier with the outcome of our whole-home window replacement service performed by Christian and team from Capital Glass! The team replaced between 20 and 30 full frames which included all new interior and exterior casing/trim finish work.The whole process from start to finish was handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. We recently purchased a fixer-upper house and the inside needed a ton of attention. Windows were the final major construction phase after getting in flooring, bathrooms, carpet etc. Christian’s team was incredibly mindful of our newly installed carpet and wore protective coverings over their shoes at all times.This was a multi-day job and the Capital Glass team cleaned up completely after every day to ensure our kids didn’t come across any random debris at night.Our existing windows were in terrible shape. Cracked panes, moisture marks, hardware that made them nearly impossible to open and close, outdated styling plus they were just plain gross. We initially tried to clean them thinking we could maybe get by without replacing them entirely but after living with them for a few months, it was obvious they needed replacement. Because the existing windows were fairly old, even after a full cleaning they remained a total eyesore. We knew this was going to be a big job that required finish work so we wanted to go with a glass company with the best reputation we could find.When Capital Glass started taking the old windows out, I couldn’t believe how poorly insulated the existing frames were. The internal surrounds were pretty much all completely disintegrated. Not only did this make for a poor seal, but it allowed moisture to creep in over time and drip down inside of the walls during heavy rains. There were spots on the old windows where there was literally an inch or two of just empty unsealed space upon removing the outer trim.Since we were replacing the full window frames (which includes removing the interior and exterior casing/trim), we wanted to take this opportunity to spruce up the finishing work from what was there initially. The outside trim we kept fairly straightforward but we wanted a radically different and upgraded interior look that matched how good the rest of the house was coming out. Finishing work can get complicated but the team from Capital Glass worked with us closely on the exterior and interior finishing designs.We started with sharing an example photo of what we thought would be the ‘perfect-case’ scenario for the interior trim with Christian and his team. From there, the team worked with us to hammer out the specifics for the design we wanted until we achieved the perfect result. This process was critical to us since we have to live with the result for the next many decades! The glass team understood this and even went so far as to include us in the type and style of the specific materials they were picking up for the job. We were really hoping for this level of inclusion on this process and I’m so glad we got it.All of our windows now look amazing and function perfectly. Win-win all around. Everyone remarks on how much better both the windows themselves and the finish work looks. The new windows can be easily opened with one hand and automatically lock when closed which is a great peace of mind especially with kids. We did privacy glass for all of the bathrooms which came out great. On top of that, our energy bill went WAY down after everything was replaced. Our HVAC system works on a ‘trickle’ system that makes very subtle changes to achieve the set temperature and because we’re not losing ambient heat/cooling from the windows anymore, the system functions at a very low operating capacity. They also replaced our existing double hang kitchen window with a humongous picture window which came out just awesome.Many thanks to Christian and his team of professionals, we so greatly appreciate all of your hard work. Needed a custom stained glass panel inserted between two glass panes on our front door. The work was done professionally, and the replacement of the existing panes with the new one went flawlessly. The installers, Christian and Andre, were familiar with the make of our door, and were able to reuse the existing screws, saving me some $$ in the process. Competent and professional work. The whole staff were extremely pleasant to work with and made what could of been a stressful situation seem like no big deal. I was on a time crunch to get my home window fixed and the staff did everything they could to expedite my repair without it affecting the cost. From the first call to completed repair was a little over a week. They came to my house and did the repair right there and, as a mom of 2 toddlers, that was well worth the money by itself!! I probably paid more than I could of going somewhere else but somewhere else doesn’t have their tech Christian or the office staff. Do yourself a favor and make Capital Glass the only place you call.

Capital Glass is an awesome company! We had the wind slam our front glass store-front door and almost break it. It did break the closer and knocked a bunch of pictures off the wall. I called Capital Glass and they were very pleasant on the phone and then to my surprise they were able to come out the same day and bring the parts they needed with them to make the repair.
