I came in to buy MTG cards to teach my kids to play. I spent $100 on pre-release packs and asked the cashier if we could have some each color to make decks with.Imay have well asked this man if I could have his favorite d20, cause he let me know that they would never do something like that. They have to buy the lands from customers who sell their cards to us.I have never been to game store that both pays cash for lands, and wont give some kids a few lands to learn the game.Ill bring you a duffel bag full of lands if you find better help.
Didnt purchase anything as it was just a store that caught my eye. It was full if so many amazing things. Dragon Ball Z Clue 😆. Metal and wood puzzles. Theame dice. They have just about everything to apeal to just about anyone.
To all dads out there get your kids the u gear hook up there amazing
The employees here love their job and it shows in their attitude and preformance. They have a wide variety of things and was fun to explore.
Love this store, the entertainment area is a good spot to check out the whats what.
Over priced mask nazis. Go support comic kingdom instead! The owner isnt a winey Dbag like that jack@ss
Huge selection of games, and very well organized. The staff was super friendly as well.
I went in there today and they have such a wide variety of games. The worker there helped me and my sister find the perfect game. She was so nice even though I asked a million questions. Favorite store in the mall now. Came out of there with 3 games.
The clerks were helpful and knowledgeable.
Easy to find and packed with all the favourites. Really a great place.
You will be racially profiled. I visited a year ago- called before I arrived asking if they buy cards. I was looking to liquidate a large portion of my collection. I guess I dont look how I sound on the phone..? I came in cards in hand and was looked up and down... ok? Whatever, I brushed it off. I ended up not selling my cards that day.Keep reading.Today I visited the store and was looked straight in the eye by two employees without being greeted or having my presence acknowledged. Maybe I dont look like someone who would play Magic?Take your money to Comic Kingdom down the street.
Huge selection of games, and the staff member was very nice!
Got great help in getting some new games. Thank you
This is a go to for Christmas every year! Clean well lit. The employees are courteous and polite. Theres a huge selection of board games and puzzles.
Great place, very nice employees. Buyers beware they are selling their Pokémon TCG booster boxes at over $70 in mark up, and their booster packs are at $5 from $4. Great place for everything besides collecting Pokémon cards.
Cool store. The Yugioh booster boxes are extremely overpriced but other than that it’s a nice store.
Great local game site with friendly staff and a huge selection of games and collectables.
I enjoy going to the store to play games and to meet new people. I have actually made some new friends playing games at this location. They have a very spacious area and its very clean and inviting. If youre looking to play games like D&D, Magic the Gathering, Pathfinder, YuGiOh! and others this place is the place to be..
Yes...nice personal touch and these folks know everything about Games!!
Got a super big selection. They unfortunately couldnt locate the game I wanted but they tore that place apart trying to accommodate me and it was appreciated.
Drive all the way out here to get magic cards. Love the selection and the arcade.
So much cool stuff in this store. Easy to spend hours looking at everything they have. There is every kind of game you could possibly conceive. All sorts of boardgames, puzzles, and every fun card games there is. Prices arent cheap but they are not super expensive either.
Nice little game store that had plenty of selection
Staff was very friendly and informative. Lots of brands, many different types of objects to purchase. My wife and I even rented a few games and played on there many available tables! Very clean and snacks/drinks available. I will for sure return again in the future.
Found this shop last week. Absolutely love it!! Best prices on buying magic singles up to 55% for cash and even more for store credit. Staff are very help full and kind. Well definitely be there a lot over the summer. 10+ guys great shop
So many games! Friendly service, we love it!
Organized, neat, clean, and full of a great selection of puzzles, games and miscellaneous novelties. I love this place. Remember to ask if you dont see what you are looking for they may be able to order it for you.
I enjoy this place so much, going in here for me is a relaxing escape from the fast pace digital world. Slowing down and spending time with family with one of the board games is definitely a positive experience. #getoffthevideogames
Just went in to ask questions about what I might need to start playing D&D. The guy there was probably the most pretentious person Ive encountered at any game store. He talked down to me and came off incredibly disrespectful. I would recommend taking a pass on this place for poor service.
This store is always cool to look at and now they have a big area to play card games and have tournaments. This store they sell everything from comic books to memorabilia. You can also go check which cards that they sell for card games such as magic the gathering. This is a definitely must stop to go look around.
Great puzzles selection good service
Best place I have found for Magic the Gathering trading cards. Have joined the occasional tournament and other patrons are always friendly and willing to play a game. Staff is helpful, and the online magic cards kiosk is a perfect deck building tool. Could use a second kiosk in store, but it can also be accessed online.
Huge inventory and the staff are super friendly & helpful. I usually come in for D&D stuff and they have a wide selection of sourcebooks, spell cards, and dice sets. They also carry all of the D&D-themed boxed tabletop games if thats your thing. The prices are all relatively comparable with what Ive seen online, which is impressive for a brick and mortar store! I definitely try to find excuses to stop by this store as much as possible.
They are very helpful. They will help you find a have even if you dont know the name of it. They will also order games that you want if their supplier carries it.
So many games and puzzles it is hard to choose! So much fun packed into a small, well organized store front. There is another store that has space to set up table top games and has vintage arcade games and pool tables to keep you busy while waiting for tables to open up.
Friendly with a fantastic selection
I freaking love this store!!! If you are into cute stuffies or role playing card games(think D&D) this is your place. They also have comics and pop dolls. Its a reason all its own to go to the mall.
One of the coolest selections of toys, games, and puzzles that you can get. I always stop by both locations in the mall when I go, and always end up buying something in each location.
Great place to find those specific gaming items you may need. Also has lots of tables available for your own groups to meet and play or tournaments for most popular tabletop games.
Good shop for boardgames, card games, and related merchandise. Weekly card tournaments and places to hang out and practice/causally play.
I have been frequenting games galore for years, theyre the best game (board, card, and tabletop) store in reno. They have the largest play area of any store in town and the fairest prices. Would recommend to any person interested.
Great place2 different stores. one filled with board games on every wall and a huge entertainment center with a tournament area and tons of video games. This place blew.me away
So many games. You can probably find every board game you could wish for. Great place to go to if you need more board games, puzzles or card games.
They have pretty much everything I could want.
Very compacted but so interesting. Never been to a store like it. Employees were helpful. Prices are the same as Amazon so its not like youre paying extra.
Games Galore is an excellent games store. They have a board game shop and a playing area- the playing area is easily the best Ive ever set foot in. Its spacious enough for several arcade machines and a pool table, while still having room to comfortably run over three events at once. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.I was particularly interested in their MTG environment- specifically, Commander. They host casual commander on tuesdays, and they have a very healthy Commander community- Id recommend it to anyone looking for a place to play.My only complaint, which is rather minor in my opinion, is that they only allow you to use store credit from trade-ins for other cards. I dont believe this complaint is significant enough to remove a star.
OMG what a selection of games. I have never seen so many games in one place. Service was incredible and staff was extremely knowledgeable.
Games for the whole family
Easily the best family game store in town. There are other gaming and hobby shops, dont get me wrong, but Games Galore selection is above average (So much so the store even gets a little crowded during their magic events). I have purchased several games from him, and card sleeves and accessories as well. The owner and his staff are all very friendly, and they are quite knowledgeable about their products. The age range is great. There puzzles and learning toys for kids, board games like Monopoly and Risk (Along with the many collectors versions), and games like D&D and Pathfinder for the hardcore table top gamer.Stop in, give these guys a look, and support your local business!EDIT: Things have changed, now they have two locations in the Mall right near each other, one for the traditional board gamer one one for the miniatures and card game players. No more overcrowding, plenty of space with vintage arcade, pool tables, and collectibles. Check it out!
If you are to just about any card game this is the store to come to and have some fun! Also a great store for gifts around the holidays.
Tired to buy a Planeswalker deck the other day, the employee told me I couldnt buy one because those are only for new players, which is apparently a lie. They do have a great selection of MTG cards though, and the singles are fairly priced. Ill probably go to comic kingdom from now on though save for game nights.
Lots of different toys and games
The girl was helpful, but not overly friendly.Bought expansion set for Catan. Definitely not the cheapest place to buy things. I like supporting local businesses, though. Since we are playing Catan tonight, there is no time to order the expansion set. 🤔My son bought the Bullet edition of BANG! We will probably be playing both games tonight.
This place is great, and the people who work there are helpful and knowledgeable.
I really like this place so this review is based on a single experience that really just rubbed me the wrong way.At the store, there are boxes of MTG cards organized by set. Commons are .10 and uncommons are .25 each. After spending a solid hour searching for cards I needed for my new deck, I found 3 uncommons and 8 commons. Total should have been $1.55. The owner then proceeded to look up each card and then tries to raise prices on everything I was purchasing.I felt this was very a shady bait and switch, especially since I had spent so much time searching through everything. After he changed the prices on everything, he offered to discount the commons. As a matter of principle, and despite the fact that I wanted the cards, I turned him down and walked out. I was actually planning to buy some deck protectors as well, but after trying to change the prices on me, he lost the next sale for himself, and quite honestly, I may just avoid supporting this place from now on.Really disappointed.
Very well stocked and plenty of choices! Highly recommended!
Was able to go in and get cards against Humanity. Only store I could find in the area that sells it. They had comparative pricing and they were helpful with my purchase.
I love this store. I can get such a variety of fun things from puzzles to D&D dice
Pretty great play space. Make sure you check out both stores in the mall.
I love this place. They have a decent selection of comics which is my main reason for visiting and everyone is friendly.
Awesome board game shop. Super helpful staff
Great gaming area and great staff but the prices on certain things seem a little steep sumtines. Other than that most of their stuff is reasonable and fun place to hang out
Tons of old school table top games. D&D books, dice, yo-yos and more.
Games stacked all over the place. More of the most popular games will be here, but some rarer kickstarter games have found their way into regular distribution and are here.
Great place huge selection. Remember there are two locations in the same mall.
The best place to go for all your gaming needs!
Omg I love this place so much! Its amazing.
Went to the new store location.Engaged the Manager in conversation about product. As soon as she seen we were just looking around she became irritated and dismissive to our questions about the product. She then became competley disengage from the conversation and ignored us for oneone buying a 1 dollar item.Horrible customer service. Find someone with good customer skills.
Very helpful sales lady but didnt have what I was looking for
Great dice selection, and friendly staff, God-- place to stop by for D&D miniatures and core rulebooks
Lots of fun great gaming environment. Very helpful staff
Cool place, recommended if you like nerd products.
Fun place for something new
First the negative. Seems to be 99% Warhammer, MtG and D&D. Only Citadel paints. No SAGA, Bolt Action, no ADLG or other CCG. No static grass for basing your miniature figures. Is great if you are into those 3 games, not so much if you are looking for other branches of the gaming hobby. Now the positive. The store was neat, clean, and organized. The staff was polite and helpful. There was also a large gaming area where you could set up your games if you needed a space. With snacks available, always a plus.++They had another another location in the same mall which seemed aimed at boardgames. Mostly the usual stuff, but they did have copies of Forbidden Desert and Mysterium (both very cool boardgames).
Had everything we were looking for, and so much more!
Great place for games of any kind!
One of the best selections of games and puzzles in town..
They are very helpful and can give suggestions on a variety of games.
Best thought out place for board games, rpg, tabletop, ccg and more. You can even get drinks and snacks on site.
Nice friendly no hassle game store located in a major mall. You may pay a few bucks more, but if its a game they have it
Awesome staff! They have great games and will always help find a new game that youve never played!
Awesome place to go for TCG sneak peeks and tournaments, plus an awesome selection of cards and game products. I only wish I lived closer to it so I could go there more often.
Really cool store and lots of cool DND stuff
Very nice place with a good selection and fun arcade games. Thank you!
Make you youve gathered some magic
Good game store but it sells games at an expensive price. Can find better deals online but nice to support a local store.
I bought an item and later found out it was used because of the condition it was in, they re-sell return items even when there in a somat ok condition.
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Hosts game tournaments and still willing to help newbies.
Busy place, very popular, nice, helpful people. A gift for Christmas.
They have just about everything and if they dont have it they are happy to order it for you
Awesome unique collection.
Friendly, helpful and lots of games.
Buy your cards here
Wonderful space, and neat gift items!
Bowling was really fun!
Good selection with nice and knowledgeable staff!
D&D stuff, board games, and a massive room with nerdy things. A nerds best dream!!!
Great selection, and they will special-order anything you ask for! I shop there quite a lot.
