THE BAD, UGLY, AND GOODDont waste your time here. There is a reason the Stone House cafe across the street had a 2 hour wait and this place was empty. The food was sub par. For 15 bucks at what seemed to be a decent place the Napa Burger is a garbage frozen patty regular burger. And they want five bucks more to make it a decent frozen patty burger.Wife had regular tuna melt that was just boring. She was not impressed.The fries were good, clean oil, Id hope since no one was in there. Bloody Mary was ok, bartender put effort into making it, but not my mix.I should have waited the 2 hours. Serious restaurant fail on owner/manager. Will never go back.If you charge top dollar dont cheap out on food quality.

(2.5) Went to this location for lunch yesterday and got their Napa Grilled Cheese… the cheese wasn’t even melted all the way to the point where I could see the distinct slices of cheese. Not only that but two of the slices were the equivalent of craft American singles. I would expect better from this establishment. When I returned the plate having not even touched the food they didn’t comp the whole meal - their waitstaff, while nice, did not know their own menu or pricing and the manager must have been stingy to feel the need to put their staff in that position. I will not be back.

I have to say something... this place is amazing! I would assume the young gentlemen that has greeted me at the door my last few visits is the manager since he’s always here and never rests, but he’s the highlight of this location without a doubt! He’s been so welcoming, informative and friendly every time I’ve been here, this has become my go-to Happy Hour spot. Great wine selection of course, and the salmon risotto is the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

We normally order from the other location, but since we were told that the Plumgate location always has tomato bisque soup, we switched it up and ordered from this location. Wish we wouldnt have. Ordered four full meals for pick up, and each one had something wrong. Specifically told the person taking our order that we wanted two of the meals to come with the tomato soup, and we only got one, the other was something else, I think it may have been clam chowder. Both small containers of soup were tossed. The tomato was not as good as we have had from the other location, and we did not want clam chowder, so wasted soup. The other two meals were ordered with salad, asked for blue cheese for one, ranch for the other. Got two blue cheese, which by the way is not good!! Both salads were eaten dry. The short rib was just that SHORT, tiny!!!!! Asked for carrots to be substituted with spinach or broccoli, got more though over cooked, cold asparagus. Chicken dinner was listed as coming with carrots and broccoli, got cold asparagus. (If you are not going to serve what is listed on the menu, please inform your customer when they are ordering) Also both sauces listed for the two chicken meals were not what the menu, both were covered in a very bland white alfredo type of sauce. Just a very expensive, disappointing dining experience. We will not be back to this location.

Wow! We just stumbled in because they had a decent happy hour. We left fans !!!! Sergio was so knowledgeable about wines and tastes. I discovered I am a sweet lover not a dry. “Our new place” my husband said !

We ate here with a medium sized work group for a special event. The wait staff was very friendly and seated us right away. Even though they had a party of 24 eating at the same time, our drinks and meals came out well within an expected time period - hot and delicious. Our food ranged from the Ahi sandwich to the chilli, to the quiche and it was all wonderful. We enjoyed Napa Sonoma very much and highly recommend this eatery to others.

Ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with side salad. Sandwich was dry and chewy (chicken was well cooked). Ranch for salad was very thick and not much flavor.

I always enjoy Napa Sonoma. The food is good along with the wine. The menu is limited for me but they always make adjustments which is nice.

What a fun experience. All sorts of beautiful containers to choose from. Patrick and the whole staff were awesome. Definitely be going back for some more candle making and wine. Great place to go for any special occasion.

Love this place! Food is great, a wine shop I side as well with a great selection. I love the staff and management, they treat you like family. Great weekend brunch and happy hour..bottomless mimosas!

One of the most-fave wine bar in Reno thats why we gave it a try!Have to call in advance for reservation because this restaurant is always full (maybe because of the comparable prices!) Food is kinda-OK, except for the burger (yum!) staff are very hospitable and friendly.

Love the ambiance and service. Great food and the happy hour is unbeatable! Me and my wife frequent this place. The staff recognizes us and makes us feel welcome like family. Wine selection is robust too!

We had an amazing time at Napa Sonoma. They were very friendly, very attentive. The drinks came quickly and the food arrived soon after. We got there special chicken, arugula, tomato, garlic aioli on brioche bun. The sandwich and fries were awesome. Highly recommend this exceptional restaurant. 😋❤

I literally just took my first bite of the blackend chicken sandwich and its so good I had to put it down to post this! we just moved to town and were trying all the different restaurants I highly recommend this sandwich I cant wait to try more on the menu!

Went here with my boyfriend and it was just okay. The cheese plate was not great, the ahi tuna salad was WAY too salty, and the shrimp appetizer was so spicy you almost couldn’t eat it (and we LOVE spicy!)The service was good and they were helpful when we voiced our concerns (they gave us a new ahi salad with the dressing on the side).The ambiance could also use a bit of a lift.Overall good service, but the food and ambiance was just okay!

The tuna melts we picked up yesterday were the best I’ve ever had.I’ve frequented NSP over the years, and would probably have posted a 4 for food and service.But their tuna melt is a 5, in my book. The chicken nachos and So Cal wrap were also well received.The prime rib was fine, but it’s not meant to be done as a pick up order. Oh, and the potato was under baked.Overall, well done during covid. Plus! We could get a couple of bottles of wine, to go!!!!!

Casual, fairly priced. Food good, not amazing, just solid and tasty. Sweet service. Has a well hidden patio. Good place to eat casually and catch up with friends.

First experience, received a gift card for Christmas. Was excited to try the food. Menu sounded fabulous. Ordered the Americana Sliders for take out. Meat, bacon and cheese was good. Salad was wilted, slimy with darkened old greens, cherry tomatoes were soft, wrinkly, old tasting, red wine vinaigrette was sour and tasteless. Didnt get a fork or napkin. Not impressed. Wont be recommending to anyone.

This place was great!! We went for a girls cocktail hour after work. Great drinks and amazing tuna tartare!!! I highly recommend trying it. It is now my favorite and cant wait to go back and order that. It will forever be my go to here.

I buy gift baskets for my clients here. Very happy with this place. The quality of the gift baskets is excellent. There are always unique, high quality, seasonally changing items to pick from for the baskets. Simon and Carol have been very helpful with these.The restaurant and bar is nice too. Food is excellent. Parker always has an interested story from behind the bar. Highly recommend!

We had our rehearsal dinner here for my daughters wedding. Very hard to work with and get in contact with. They did not return calls or emails in a timely manner. The day of the staff seemed confused as to the plan and not very happy to be there. The menu was picked out before hand but not followed. We had 3 options, one of them meatless and when it came to the table it had chicken on it. Plus the sides were different than on our printed menu. Worst of all a “room fee” was tacked onto bill that was never disclosed during any emails or phone conversations. The food was good but service was subpar and really upset with hidden fee. Would not recommend for any event.

While there is decent variety on the menu I still felt that selection was somewhat limited. That said everything we have ever ordered here has been fantastic and when you consider that they have a fully stocked wine bar you can probably understand why we keep coming back. Highly recommend the fondue!

Cozy place w great food..the service is amazing, servers knowledgeable about wine choices​.. had a celebration brunch in Dec16.. Tess did an amazing job making sure everything was just perfect!! Id give her a raise!!

Good clean fun. The kids love it and there is a bar for the adults. What more can a guy ask for?

Best place in town to have a good wine experience.

The food is okay, as well as the service. Last visit a few of us ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was overly drowned in hollandaise sauce. We were also rushed through our meal because a big party was coming in soon after us. It would have been nice to know that when our party made the reservation a week before. Maybe we could have gone somewhere else and come back another time instead and ultimately had a better experience here.

Someone else picked up togo, I got the shrimp saltimbocca. For $13 I got three shrimp, four cherry tomatoes, a bland, weird polenta and a cup of some fondue I also didn’t find appealing. My girlfriend got the chicken pot pie, which came as a cup of chicken soup and a round fried tortilla type bread, $12. For $25 I could think of about 15 other places we could’ve ordered from that would’ve filled us up. Gave an extra star because the shrimp were actually good, just seems like there should’ve been twice as many.

We went for Valentines dinner, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, the environment sucked. The big screen TV was NOT romantic, or in keeping with the linen table clothes. The next time I want a sports bar atmosphere, that could be a choice, but for an expensive, couple dinner, I will choose someplace without a big screen TV.

If I could give less than 1 star, I definitely would. I ordered beef short ribs, what I got was roast beef with horribly burnt vegetables. If that wasnt bad enough, one of the male bartenders used my fork, pushed through the meat and said because of the marbling, it was short ribs. Then he proceeded to go to the kitchen and brought out roast beef used for sandwiches, stating I dont know what Im talking about. OMG are you kidding! Who talks to customers like that and still has a job! Ive never been so disrespected as a customer. Ive eaten dinner there before and it wasnt great, but this takes it to a whole new level. I will never eat there again or suggest it to anyone. Btw, the owner was there and walked away. Clearly this behavior was condoned or he would have apologized. The restaurant surly got an earful tonight. Save your money.

French dip was great, the chicken pot pie was wayyy too salty abd was more like soup than pie.

One of our favorite places to meet friends and share a glass of wine and appetizers. Staff is always friendly and prices are comparable.
