Worst customer service in history of places. Order your toys on Amazon. Same items half price. And they back there products up. Unlike these guys who dont want to help you get parts for an item you purchased from them.

Scooter City ATV Outlet, while it could take 3 days or so to get it done, the service is excellent and worth the time and money. There are many more good points, but Im not going to list everything. If Im asked about scooters sales and service, I always recommend Scooter City ATV Outlet.

Good prices but no masks worn by any of the employees and Ive bought three items from them on two different occasions and its almost like I was a slight inconvenience both times thats just the feeling I got but maybe Im wrong and overly sensitive it does happen from time to time ya know.

The staff at this store are very customer service driven, friendly and helpful, unlike most retail these days. I purchased 4 vehicles over the Xmas season and brought them in for the 10/hr service and one of them needed a warranty part replacement. This store is very efficiently ran. Not to least say, affordable!

New to the area. This shop sells the most affordable off road toys in Reno Northern Nevada, one of the staff said for over 15 years, they are the Target of Powersports. Picked up a 200 Go Kart and 200 ATV UT style, Good quality for the price, perfect for the easy leisure rider.

I bought a icebear q6 150cc trike runs great just need to get different seat and the cable to open the seat needs to be adjusted but other then that I got the trike quickly.

Purchased 4 quads over the holidays. My famiy is very very satisfied with the purchase and the great service we have received from the staff at the store. A store like this allows you to have the opportunity to ejoy off roading without mortgaging your home as if you purchased from the big brand stores. Perfect for my families leisure expectations.

My first experience with scooter City I bought a brand new TaoTao I got to the light there at Mill Street and I had a flat tire. I just went ahead and fixed it myself I was kind of annoyed later down the road I got another scooter from somewhere else and I wanted to change the brake pads look them up online they were $10 although they would take 2 to 4 weeks I called scooter City they said 20 bucks I said thats not bad for having 7-Eleven service it 7-Eleven prices when I got there they acted like he had never done a brake job on a scooter before and treated me like I didnt know what I was talking about tried to charge me $40 when I said I dont think so you just told me $20 on the phone he said no 40 bucks so I started to leave I was outside in the parking lot somebody stuck their head out and said what about 30 and I told him now youre insulting yourself I cant believe a company would throw away income thats a guarantee and treat people so badly I would do anything not to go to scooter City again

Bought 2 scooters from them. Good prices on the scooter, a bit high on the parts and services though, but when you need something fixed or a part that you cant wait for from buying online, theyre the place to go. Price of parts is the only real downside, hence the four stars instead of five. Some of the guys there can seem like jerks sometimes, but given the work they do, its understandable to be a bit stressed and all. Dont let it get to you too much, everyone has been at that point in some point in their lives. Lol.

Initial purchase of scoot was fine. Has run well for 5K miles. However, I will be looking elsewhere for parts. I can understand and accept markup, it is a business, after all. But the markup on consumables like lights and belts should usually be less than 3 digit percentage.I have purchased these items RETAIL at ½ to ⅔ less than what Scooter City charges. Not very encouraging for future visits..

Been buying off brand ATVs and Go Karts from this store for awhile as the kids keep growing. They have a nice selection of affordable kids youth and adult atvs and gokarts, best prices in reno. The people that work there are knowledgable and friendly. Best store in reno to buy Taotao brand, they also sale other chinese brands, we juste bought a 125cc Apollo X18 dirt bikes, amazed of the quality.

I been shopping for ATVs for my family to use for liesure, shopped around Reno, did nott want to finance myself to the hilt with the hefty price tag from the main stream dealers. This shop sells clones of the other brands, Tao Brand, Apollo Brand, for under 10k I purchased a small off road gokart, and 5 quads,. Very happy with the quality and performance for the price. You cant beat it, the staff was very knowledgeable on the Chinese ATV,s marekt. Apparently they have been in Reno for over 15 years, def. a nice storre. btw, they repair and service all the toys they sell

I bought my scooter about half a year ago from here and come here for every oil change. They always take great care of me and help me keep my bike - my main mode of transportation - in top shape.While Im no mechanic or expert, their service rates and prices for parts seem fair, and theyre always good about showing me maintenance issues rather than just telling me about them with no proof and trying to intimidate me into spending more money.

STOP!!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNTIL YOUVE DONE RESEARCH! On an initial opinion of the personality of the gentlemen who work the store, they are cocky and somewhat abrasive. I felt like the closest comparison I could make was a couple of wise guys from a New York used car dealership. Thats opinion only.On to hard facts. I went in twice to this store for price checking research. My first time was to see what a TaoTao50 cost. It was several hundred dollars cheaper at the time on Amazon even after shipping. I went today for a replacement part. The cost was $50 higher than every last supplier on Amazon for the same part. Installation is ridiculous as well as the price of labor is $75-$80 an hour!!! An oil change is $50!!!!! Unless youre hemorrhaging so much money you would never notice a drop in youre balance dont buy anything here!!!! There is even a price difference between online and in store. How this place is even in business is a mystery to me. There was a guy buying the same scooter I have at the time I was there. He appeared to be having trouble getting it started. You would think that for the extra price these people could take the time to at least tune it up to work properly but I guess that would cut into their $75/hr labor scam.Honestly I am considering reporting this business to the BBB. Save yourself a bunch of money and headaches and look elsewhere before supporting this business.

These guys treated my brother and I good back in mid 2016 on a tao tao scooter!They even upgraded the stock Chinese flamethrower spark plug out to a ngk before we even left there shop!!!Great people to deal with.FYI to all the people who had bad experiences I get it. Please keep in mind these are dirt chep Chinese bikes,scooters,atvs etc.These are not Hondas,Yamahas,husqvarnas,ktms etc!!! They are Chinese and reflect so! On the other hand if your some what mechanically inclined youll never have a major issue!!! Based on some of these reviews Ive read common sense doesnt appear to be so common in this day and age.Myself I didnt mind given the price point and the service was decent!Im not friends with the owner or any of his staff.Its true if your an idoit and think you will get big manufacturer quality for this price point, I have some real nice ocean front property to sell you in las vegas lol.Be real with what you are buying and keep in mind this man has to make a damn living. Workers comp,unemployment insurance,rent,utilities etc all add the hell up quick.

NEVER TAKE YOUR SCOOTER HERE.Dont make the same mistake I did. Check Yelp.My three issues:1. DISHONEST: I was told that the scooter would be repaired in a week. After several phone calls, and being told they were almost finished or its being worked on today it was finished a month later.2. MISCOMMUNICATION?: After being given an original estimate of $100.00. I was called and told two weeks later it would be $200.00. Final pick-up price: 309.20.3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: When I brought these issues to the assistant manager, I was told that this was my fault. I should have called more often, and that I was clearly mis-remembering conversations, even though I was never told the cost would be anywhere near 300.00Please dont make my mistake. Avoid this shop if possible.

The guy helping me used his middle finger to point out what I was interested in I mentioned him that this was rude in a very polite manner after he said I apologize for offending you and did it again I laughed and said you did it again he then put his hands on me and told me to leave the store and then threaten to call the police that is the most psychotic response Ive ever experienced from a store clerk. Danny actually called the police after I was like incredibly polite and telling him that his gesture was rude

Fast and friendly service at a fair price. If you do a bit of research and know what needs to be done, couldnt be an easier shop to deal with. Took in a scooter for a stubborn stripped bolt and a oil change service and it was ready the same day. Scooter runs completely brand new afterwards. The staff was very helpful and gave tips about local laws and how to maintain properly. Ive been here before and this was the best service and experience ive had. I will continue to come to this shop and recommend it to friends and family.

I bought a 125 pit bike and an atv 125 from this guys About a month or so. and the pit bike is the one given me more problems than the atv. Broken bolt, sputtering engine, loose bolts. The atv has a raddle in the rearshaft/chain. Not sure. The biggest problem is dealing with the people who work there it seems like as soon as you make your purchase and are out the door the friendliness goes out as well. They try to make it seem like its the riders fault. And dont really want to fix without paying. Long story short spend the extra money and go with the professionals its not worth it trust me.

My scooter was defective from the moment I drove it off the lot. They did nothing to repair it. I had nothing but problems with the scooter itself. The blowout price is not an actual sale; theyre priced the same all the time. Repairs are expensive.Bottom line: youd be out of your damn mind to buy a scooter here.

NO DEALS, NO BREAKS, NO EMPATHY, WORST SERVICE IN NEVADA IN ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS. Rediculous mark up combined with zero customer service and zero professionalism. Bought a scooter, lock, helmet, roller baring upgrade and pair of gloves. All together I spent over $1500 dollars. The battery was dead in two days (I sell automotive electronics, I didnt leave the ignition on, Im not stupid). When I tried to kick start it, the return spring snapped off internally.I didnt have a trailer or truck to bring it down so I removed the crank case cover(as directed by the guy at the store over the phone) and brought it to them to fix it.They told me because I removed the crank case cover that the repair couldnt be done under warranty event though it was brand new, and only took them two minutes to reset the spring. They actually charged me labor for that! A week later it wont start, turned out the carburator was bad. They replaced it (for a fee). Once that was fixed it ran well for about two months. They want 85 an hour to diag it after 30 days, no breaks, no deals, no empathy.

They suck, their rude, if your Mexican they are really rude! My decal came off my tao tao, and they supper glued it back on. Supper glue all down the side of my bike. I didnt have it more that two weeks. They said they would replace the whole panel if I brought it in for my next oil change, and only if I brought it in to them. Greg is very rude. He is all about the money, and he could care less about his customers. He never honors the original warranty on the bike. He skips right to how he can rip off his new victim. If you want the best customer service, the best work, the best company. Go to Poor Boys. Located on 4th Street down town Reno. You will get all this, and more. Most of all you will walk out of there with a smile on your face, and money still in your wallet. We bought 4 tao tao scooters from them. I will NEVER go to them again! They sell their parts for way more than if you wouldve just ordered the parts your self on line. I tell everyone about what they have done to us. I recommend go else where to do in of your scooter needs. All these people who are giving them 5 stars are either friends of theirs, or are straight up lying.

I purchased a Tao Tao 50 scooter from EmRockATV a few months ago. I have experienced nothing but amazing and helpful service from the staff. Red has usually been my mechanic and he’s always professional, courteous and upfront with any sort of pricing or repair issues. Greg is always helpful and nice as well. I believe the other staff member is named Mark; he hasn’t worked with me directly but he’s always friendly as well.I am surprised to see so many other negative comments about this establishment. EmRockATV was always upfront with me about the full cost of their devices and components. Has the Tao Tao 50 scooter I purchased always worked perfectly? No, but I’ve always received quick service when I’ve had problems. And I never felt like I was being “tricked” or “coerced” into paying more; like some of the other reviewers have noted.In short, the guys down at EmRockATV will take care of you. Bought a replacement tire for the back wheel on the Tautau 50 that they sold me and it was too small, it slipped off the rim almost immediately after it was installed. These guys are so shady. Why would you sale me a tire that was too small??
