I had to hold myself steady and not start jumping for joy when I found this place! Organized, tidy, wonderful store! Extra kudos because this is the only place Ive been able to find custard powder and a few other items. My mooncakes (Taiwan style and Singapore style) cannot be made without the fresh, quality ingredients they offer here, including nice pandan leaves! Pure joy!Definitely worth a stop if you crave any Vietnamese food items so you can prepare a feast or just experiment. Love this store!

Very good about this particular market at all. Each product is faced and ordered to the max. Its a very big shop. I love the pastries they sell. Also available: Tidy, neat and self-check out.

Fake! They do not carry real products. I came in looking for real Vietnamese coffee. One would think with “Viet” in the title they would carry Vietnamese products. Their supposed “Vietnamese style” coffee has artificial flavors in it. If you want true Asian products, look elsewhere.

Store was decent and didnt stink of meat and fish. Fresh produce was what I came for and I found it. However, the taro was all sprouted, so I got some to plant in pots and make house plants rather than food. Prices were on par with other Asian groceries. selection was lower in the store overall though. I could not find my favorite instant noodles brand, indomie, and had to go elsewhere for that.

Im lucky enough to live less than 10 minutes from this place which provides all of the ingredients I love cooking with: fresh produce, seafood, meats, tofu and seasonings. I go there two to three times a week! Prices are awesome which is an added bonus of course..

Found all the hard to find Asian ingredients I needed and the prices were great. The produce and seafood dept was top notch. Meats were nicely organized inside closed glass fridge. I found it clean and convenient.

Customer service was okay. My experience with this market that the produce on weekend is fresher than week days.

I LOVE grabbing food at the deli! They have POKE, in single serving containers, for around $6. Its perfect, for after workouts.

First, I am new to Renton, second, I love this store, and last, their deli, and the super friendly girls working there, are my new best friends. First, I ordered a pork sandwich from a large overhead menu. Not only was it wonderful, it was really, really good to eat. Have I said it tasted great yet? While she was making it, I saw their deli menu of items they will cook for you right then and there. I ordered Spam fried rice. Wow, first off, Im a big eater and the delicious sandwich was plenty for my lunch, but I still had the huge contsiner of fried rice to eat. So, no matter how I tried not to open and try it, I did. Man, I ate it all, every last grain. It was perfect.As they say, try it, youll love it too.They have everything, even live swimming sturgeon, live crab, and whole baby pigs. This is a great store, Renton is lucky.

One of the few large Asian grocery stores in the area. Prices are better than most. Selection is decent, could be better.

Yes its great that they have whats needed but the men employes are really disgusting I live right next to the store so Ive gone about 3 times and I seen them smoke cigarettes and tall on the phone and not change gloves 🤢🤢 while handling seafood and meat

This my fav store in town I goes there 3 to 4 times a week I love their seafood vegetables n fruits re fresh everything in this store its just gud n affordable they very cheap so my fav things to get is their frying fish very delicious

New location is bigger and looks much nicer. All the products were organized well, produce was well-stocked and fresh, and the new deli addition is great.

Huge variety. Catfish tasted weird. Wish things were priced better.

There is a post circulating on Facebook regarding raw peanuts bags that sold at Viet wah in Renton, Wa. advertised as “product of USA” while the label underneath says “in China” (which was ripped off or being covered with the new label). Too bad I couldn’t post that snap shot and post it here as there is no such feature in this google reviews option

Great place to find most asian spices..but becareful with their products some of them are already expired for more than a year..always check and recheck..

Lovin the new store, liked it much more than the old location. Everythings newer, brighter, and bigger. Still has the things I shop for with the addition of a new Deli...that sells BOBA TEA!! Convenient parking and service was very nice too.

Used to be across the street, but on this side, bigger and better parking, in my opinion. Good variety, been shopping in Viet Wah for ages, specially for my South East Asian Groceries.

If I can give them negative stars I would. Cashiers are so rude and they treated you like criminal. Never go back again.

Can get fresh Asian items close 2home

The price is more expensive in this store compared to other stores in Seattle International District. Buyer beware a 2 pounds prepackaged bean sprouts @$1.49 per pound so 2 pounds would be $2.98 on the checkout but when it checkout the cashier weighs the bag and it turns end up pays more than $3.50 a bag. So I come back for the second times but the same 2 pounds prepackaged bean sprouts again this time it costs $3.25 a bag. At Seattle International District just 0.99 cent a pound.

Dont buy meat it smells.
