Today my son (age 13 and desperately shy) and I went to Ulta for the first time in person. It’s was an amazing experience. Greeted with big smiles right upon entry by the cashiers and within 2 minutes in the store we were welcomed again and offered assistance, which we accepted. Zoe was so cute, so sweet and so so helpful. She was understanding and non judgmental for my lack of knowledge in teen boys facial hygiene products. She toured us around the store ad showed us a bunch of new products . We got the best charcoal peeling facial mask for under $5! I was shocked ! Also a foot scrub for under $10, also amazing! My son said that was the best customer service he’s seen in a long time! Love that store

Ulta salon has done it again! Absolutely love my daughters hair! It is a great flare of a subtle purple! Fantastic!

Found everything I needed! Clean place, well organized. One star off as I was there a LONG time before anyone acknowledged me and I had a handful of items to purchase. It wasnt busy in there.

I ordered online for carbide pickup and my order was ready next day. I pulled up right in front and called. The lovely clerk came right out with my order and passed it through the passenger window. Great experience. Quick and easy.

Hopefully someone steps up and decides to fix this problem at this exact location . A worker with blonde hair seems to make us colored / mixed customers uncomfortable while shopping in the store. A post was made on Facebook about her accusing customers of stealing( they did not steal at all ). Her excuse was “well you look like someone who has stolen” but that doesn’t give her the right to stereotype colored woman . About 5 other Facebook users that has visited this location has stepped up and opened up about this same exact employee making us customers feel uncomfortable while shopping . This absolutely is not okay . This is why I will be shopping online from now on .

I went to get my first brow wax since covid. The lady (Jennifer?) did a terrible job. I know the brows are sisters not twins but they should at least look enough alike to be in the same family. I had stray hairs that needed to be plucked. Asked her to even then out multiple times then gave up because she clearly wasn’t able to do it. Worst part? She blew her nose and touched my face and DID NOT sanitize her hands or wash them. Disgusting. Where is the dermalogica girl? She was great! I called customer service they said someone from the store would contact me. It’s been 2 1/2 weeks. Poor management. I just want my eyebrows fixed. Not a refund just the service I paid for to be performed.

I love ULTA and the staff are pretty great. The stock of perfume be kinda low sometimes but for anything else I can usually always find. Not overbearing and happily to assist when needed. Frequent shopper here and will continue to be a customer at this location

The possibilities are beautiful, this store offers an array of products and services all that we use on a daily basis at affordable prices. And I love the guest experience they provide. When I first went in i felt overwhelmed with all the options they had but their beauty advisors made the experience fast and they shown me several different items that met my beauty needs.

Where do I begin? They definitely need additional training on matching foundation to the correct skin tone. As you can see I was giving a foundation shade that was like four shades darker than me. She also tried it on in the store and told me once I started to blend it out it would look so much better. I went in because I wanted to get a concealer and foundation from a brand I’ve heard a bunch of good things about called Juvias place. I spent $38 on both the concealer and foundation. I asked the young lady for assistance in making sure my foundation shade was accurate and she seem to talk like she knew what she was doing but based on this foundation shade, that’s totally wrong. As a matter of fact she and I tried three or four different foundation shades to test before she told me this one was my color and recommended I buy Nairobi 410.I live in a city opposite of Renton so it’s gonna be inconvenient to have to take this back and I don’t really have faith in having an accurate shade pick for me by people who are supposed to be qualified to do so. Definitely somebody needs training in foundation matching. Aside from that, the store has a ton of different make up brands and You can find just about any kind of make up items here, eyebrow pencils eyebrow products eyeliners foundations shadows. Just cannot trust them matching the color accurately

Admittedly, makeup and skincare are not my thing, but my wife swears by the store and Ive been to there a few times with her. Im slowly learning the art for my young daughter. That being said the service here is nice and the range if services are surprising to me. I just learned that they do haircuts!

My friend took me to the salon here. The staff was very nice and the overall quality of service was good, but I am not thrilled due to the fact that I received color as part of my appointment and:- There is a weird gap where you can see some of my natural hair between the roots and the rest of it, despite dye being applied all over.- I asked the hairdresser to use mainly turquoise along with some pink/violet and picked out the colors, and I feel like she did the inverse.While overall I am happy with the cut and color I received, I feel like the two points above are definitely drawbacks that would prevent me from coming back for additional hair services.Beyond that the store is nice and the staff are nice and they have a good selection of makeup/hair/skin care and accessories including nice non-gendered items, as well as beard grooming supplies which is hard to find.

Every experience here is hit or miss depending on who’s working. I enjoy the products available and convenience of location, but service is generally left wanting. Today the girls who checked me out were more interested in gossiping about other staff than engaging a customer or attempting to be present. That’s fine, I’m there for products.But in awkwardly emptying my basket while an associate blankly stared at me, I left my phone on the counter. When I came back to retrieve it, another associate let me know indeed l had left my phone...but then asked me to describe it. (I was just there less than 5 minutes ago and she admitted I left my phone..but okay, sure! Probably a policy) So I described it as having a sparkly case. That’s pretty distinct to me..but apparently I needed to describe my wall paper which I did..but I guess she wanted me to describe my lock screen? Anyway, as I turn to leave she passive aggressively says “Youre welcome” ? It would be mediocre service that demands praise.All in all, don’t leave your phone and most likely no one in this store will engage you at all. Happy shopping!

Friendly staff...definitely big on sales here...it is a retail store so I get it. But for someone who doesnt normally wear makeup and would like some help in choosing things, it is a bit overwhelming. I found that the only person I could get help from was the makeup artists...but the items they want to recommend are things that cost $40 for one item....which adds up fast. It would be great if they had a some quick guides in the store to help us newbies.

I only go for Chi hair oil. I encountered a demo person as I walked in & even though she didnt work there she was really nice and knew exactly where I could find my hair oil. The cashiers were fast and friendly.

Went here to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time ever and Stacy did them for me. She is amazing! My brows look SO good and nice, Stacy really knows what shes doing. Stacy is also really sweet and has a great attitude. Ill be back soon!

They have a great hair salon here. They did my hair for my wedding last year and it was perfect. They also have a great selection of make-up and hair products.

While the staff is nice and some parts of the store are well-stocked and ordered, theres no getting around the fact that the premium or prestige brands section is often somewhat disordered (a sign of possible understaffing) and often out of various products Ive been interested in over the past couple years. Theres also no getting around the hundreds of reports online from consumers and current and former employees that Ulta as a company may have a quiet practice of reselling used returned items like makeups and skincare products after tidying them up. While its been denied by the company and some of the reports are from employees who say they/their store refuse(es) to follow that policy, theres no way to tell if that practice is still ongoing, or if the store youre going to is following it. So Ive been slowly phasing myself over to using Sephora for all my needs. Its a pain to get there at the mall, but the staff are well-educated on products and skincare and they generally have good stock and a fantastic website. So, sad to say but I rarely go to Ulta any more.

I love Ulta Beauty! They are the only ones I go to to trim my hair. Great store. The employees are very helpful.

Where do I even begin with this location.First of all, don’t make any online orders because half the time you go in they don’t actually have it in stock. I made a few orders so far and two of them they didn’t even have the product when it said it was in stock online.Second of all.......... the first order I had made was canceled and I was immediately refunded my money. The second order I had made and they didn’t have the product in stock, I actually went into the store because I was sick of waiting for my order to be processed (4 hours after making the order) and guess what.. they didn’t have it in stock. So I picked up my other order and asked the lady if she can cancel the order right there so I can get my refund. Welp, she told me I had to call customer service to get my refund and I was like “why can’t you cancel my order so I can get my refund?” She chose to ignore my question and proceed to telling me I had to call customer service and it all didn’t make any sense at all as to why she couldn’t simply cancel the order right there so I could get my refund if they did it the day prior.She proceeded to speak to me in a demeaning manor and I left the store and called customer service and got my refund. Honestly, I feel like the “manager” or lead just didn’t feel like doing her job. Because I spoke with a friend of mine that works for Ulta and she said she could have canceled and refunded me without having to call. Get better workers, I wish I knew her name so I could report her.I can’t remember her name but this lady had a full on mustache on her upper lip and she’s working management at ulta? Lol I wouldn’t take any beauty advice from her in a million years with how whack her make up looked and the mustache on her face. It’s called wax or bait hun. Lol

This Ulta is subpar to other the other Ultas Ive been to. I couldnt find one person to help me, normally Im offered too much help. Ulta needs to find that just right customer service balance in their stores. I went there looking for a product I bought at a different Ulta, and they dont carry that brand at this one.

They are always so rude! I try to refrain from going to this location!

If I could give this zero stars I would. I booked an appointment online for an 8:00 haircut with Nicole. I have short very fine hair so I didnt think it would be an issue. Fast forward and Im there about 30 minutes early so I shop a little bit, and I sit down to wait about 15 minutes before Im supposed to get a haircut. Then its 8:20 and shes still working on someones hair. So I ask when shes going to be done and she says she doesnt know and asks if I want to re-schedule. That would have been nice to ask me thirty minutes ago before I wasted half my evening waiting to get this haircut. I dont write reviews and I think Im a pretty understanding person, I know its hard in a salon, but that was so unbelievably unacceptable. Ill never schedule a haircut there ever again. At least not with Nicole.

My appointment was with Cory Phair she was awesome! I had a deep conditioning, haircut and style. I was very pleased with her product knowledge as well as her technique. I will definitely be a regular of hers.

So I’ll be honest and say that when I walked into the store I wasn’t thinking it was going to go very well. I had been dealing with their online and phone (the 800 number, not the store) customer service reps and found them to be rude and unhelpful. That was not the case at the Renton Ulta. Everyone who helped me was great and Mo especially made me feel better. They even apologized for something that wasn’t their fault (it was the customer service desks fault-who chose to do nothing to fix it). So yay for in-store employees at Ulta!

Everyone was friendly here! I love the customer service and I felt like I was important and valued here. I will come back to this store again!

Sabrina was amazing she helped match my skin to my foundation and she even said that the cheaper foundation looked better which surprised me becuase usually stores want more money but this goes to show it isnt true

Pros:Everything is neat and organized.Helpful employees.Noone breathing down your neck while shopping.Always have the latest items.Cons:Everytime I come in the shades of cosmetics or lipsticks are out of stock and no employee knows when theyre getting more.The start of the line for the register is in a weird spot. Cashiers often over look you for someone who just walks up to the counter, instead of going to the back of the line.

It’s a well-stocked location and the staff on the floor are always helpful. The problem is checking out. Each time I’ve checked out using my Ulta-Mate Rewards account, the cashier has managed to put my points towards another account. This is a problem if I ever want to return something as I’d need the account holder there to make the return aka whoever’s account the cashier chose. I’ve had to email Ulta each time to get my points credited to the right account aka mine. It’s happened 3 times so far. Always check your receipt and verify your Ulta-Mate Rewards # is accurate at this location or someone else will receive your points & you won’t be able to return anything.

The workers here are awesome very helpful and knowledge with all makeup. Definitely coming back to this location!!!!

Of the two tester tables I went to use, were both missing a supply- one a tissue box was empty and the other didnt have sponges. Had to use a qtip where I would have preferred to use a sponge. No line at check out.

It was good. I came in got what I wanted and go checked out quick.

Im a bit sad to have to rate Ulta as a 3 star... But Im going to because of the one makeup associate who helped me... I wanted a single natural toned eye shadow for work. No purples, blues and definitely NO GLITTER. ... When my wife and I went, for the first 20 minutes we couldnt seem to track anyone down to help. My wife finally got the attention of one of the makeup associates on the floor... She asked what I needed and told her exactly what I needed. The first two shades were packed with glitter that fell below my eye and the other two shades she suggested were purple and a extremely dark grey! I was not pleased. I looked in the mirror after the glitter explosion and it was everywhere. Hair, checks, lips, under my eye mostly, on my coat. She laughed it off and litterally ran off to help someone else. I complained, as I did she suddenly freed up and stood by to hear what I had to say. The other two staff that heard what happened kind of shrugged it off and gave me free face exfoliatint whipe for later. Woo... The experience has re-justified my HATE for glitter makeup. I still have glitter popping up...

Its my day off, ok? Maybe Im not dressed super well and Im wearing minimal makeup. Maybe on your days off you also like to dress down and relax. Being hassled by 4 people and one person twice drove me out of the store. If I needed help, I could easily find 3 of you. The store is dead. Respect the bubble. I would have spent more time, and potentially more money had I not been followed around for the last hour. Its irritating. Theres a line between help and annoyance. Also, lets talk about the barrage of questions at the register. Stop pushing these poor people to ask for all the information in the world. Phone number, email, would you like to donate, you qualify for their Mastercard. Stahhhp. Its too much. Ill be taking my business elsewhere and also referring my clients to other personal grooming and beauty product establishments. I just looked up from my phone and who do I see? The same woman who asked me twice staring at me on my car. This is absolutely ridiculous!
