Cindy was extremely helpful in helping me close out Unit #1093, just as she was in helping me to downsize by opening Unit#2538. She was so very patient and kind!

The on site manager provided a prompt and quick contract close activities. She was very nice and answered all of my questions.

They will increase rental price after few months. I am searching for a more honest storage facility!

I’m a return customer from 4 years ago. This time I rented a storage room online and had an effortless first check-in this morning. Cindy, the Manager, gave me a receipt and escorted me to my storage room. She guided me through the procedures for using my access code to enter and leave the facility to get to the storage unit. She made it all easy. I was thankful she knew the ins and outs of the online rental process and could answer my questions about it.

I have seen recent improvements which I appreciate. In years past, sometimes the bathroom would be a mess or certain amenities would not be working, or the security panel to enterOutside the gate would not receive my input. A significant issue was that the price kept going up. When everything is in repair, it’s a very nice facility, and if prices can be held down in those repairs maintain, I’d be very happy to come back.

Liked the no contact online process. Had to call customer service for assistance with billing. They resolved everything quickly and professionally. When I got to the storage unit, it was clean and had a new lock waiting. There were dollies at each entrance and you can pull up to the loading bay to load up a cart and take it to your unit.Cindy at the front desk was very kind and helpful after I had to go to the front desk to replace the lock I had managed to setup, lock, and mess up the code to reopen it ( my fault). She tried to help me troubleshoot it then replaced the lock when we were unable to get it open. Thank you Cindy.

Water damage on my indoor climate controlled unit. Claims process was ridiculous. Also. they had taken out the ceiling tiles across different areas of the ceiling soo... they clearly knew there was an issue. Front desk staff is very friendly though. They outsource their claims process, so I cant blame them for that.

I AM STUNNED! Here I thought they had great customer service, but they completely screwed me over. I moved out at the beginning of September. I had autopay set-up, and I informed them I would move out the 1st or 2nd of September. I was told to cancel my autopay so I wouldnt be charged. It then went ONE day past the due date, they NEVER called me or warned me and I just received a phone call from a collection agency to collect $233 FOR THE ONE DAY!Like I said, STUNNED! DO NOT RENT HERE! You have been warned.I will be following-up with my own legal action.

I had rented from Extra Space Storage in Reston for about 3 years. When we first met the owners on site, we were greeted by such a warm, friendly couple who were so helpful to us and got us all set up. The unit they gave us was so convenient to get to, and right inside the building door is a large dolly to transport boxes and items from the outside to the indoor unit. If we forgot our code, we could reach them for assistance. It was a good experience and I would highly recommend this storage place.

Staff was great. The facility is very nice and clean. I gave it 1 star because the unit we rented does not have a light. They told me I should go to Walmart and buy a stick on light. :(

Yup yup. Place is consistently tip top, clean, quiet, dry. Nice lady up front when we signed up. Dealt with my wife and I, well mostly just my, stupid jokes and helped us get the precise unit we needed and literally hunted down in a series of phone calls across other places. Would recommend :)

I just moved to the area and has to place my furniture in storage until my house was move in ready. My husband reserved the wrong size unit on line, and when I arrived at the location with the movers, prayed everything would fit. Right away Jay knew it wouldn’t, he made the corrections needed and I was able to get moved in without paying the movers for extra time. I’m exhausted but really appreciate all the help and kindness I was showed at the facility. It’s a great experience working with professionals who understand time/money constraints, it makes high stress activities, like moving much easier.

This is a fantastic facility! Super reasonable rates, very clean, and Walter and Trina are quite possibly the nicest people my husband and I have ever met. They made everything simple for us, access was never a problem, and the location just cant be beat. Will 100% use them if were ever in need of a storage facility in the future.
