I made the rookie mistake of going to Troys first, and all i got after a month of waiting was sorry were not skilled enough to bore your engine block. A co worker directed me to the professionals at Eckmans. Brian and Buzz are the best at taking care of their customers and their repair needs, they produce quality work at a fair price and will get you taken care of in a very timely manner. Do it right the first time and go to Eckmans.

Brian is always very friendly and helpful. He and his employees are one of the best engine builders in the region.

I have been bringing these guys junk, and they have made it new again for 10 years now and the only thing that has changed is the cat died and he was replaced with a new fat cat. Brian and his crew are fantastic and easy to work with. Always gives me all the info I need to get repairs done right. Whenever we send work to his shop the turnaround is always timely. Very fair with his pricing. Would recommend Brian to anybody!

Brought in an old cast iron exhaust manifold that needed to be pieced back together and the fine folks at Eckman welded it up real nice. Thats tough to do! The end price was lower than expected too. Brian, Buzz and the whole staff were wonderful to work with in every way.

Weve used Eckmans Machine shop for a long time. The level of knowledge and experience within the shop cannot be found anywhere else. We also have really enjoyed the help on many occasions when something technicical with a motor came up Brian or Buzz were very glad to help out. The pricing is perfect for the service they offer and the honesty is amazing. Great people and great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for basic machine work or even full on engine rebuild.

Very nice and helpful they knew what they were talking about

Brian is not a fair person. Had to fight with him when my cummins motor was being built. finely got it done then 3000 miles later it develops an oil leak with a part that he installed and it was incorrectly installed to boot and he says he is not going to warranty it. this place is a rip off. I would recommend a real builder like Troys machine or even Jerrys machine over this place.

Very fair price, done quickly, and offered good advice.

Ive been restoring an old GMC truck. If anyone knows these trucks they are very difficult to find original parts for. Brian, Buzz and the rest of the guys put in tons of extra time helping me track down the right parts along with making sure the engine was fully built to last another 100 years. I really enjoyed when I picked the engine up how they took the time to explain to me what items were under warranty and which items would not be. For any of the items not under warranyt, like oil leaks they helped me understand why and explained what procedures they would take to ensure the leaks wouldnt develop in the future. Had my engine running now for well over a year and zero problems. And I know from research my engine is made to naturally leak. I was also very happy with their estimate.They were right on the money when qouting me out and when I picked up the engine and paid for it. Thanks Eckmans for educating me and helping me build my dream truck. Look forward to bringing another project in down the road.
