I cant be more thankful for the experience I had while communicating with Brick in the Yard Mold Supply. Not sure who I was speaking with via email, but the genuine responses and time spent helping me out as a first-time buyer for my project, couldnt have been more helpful. I had a ton of silly newbie questions, all of which were fielded happily, with attention & detail, and with the best interest of the customer. I will 100% be returning for any future project needs. Fantastic supplier of mold making, casting and makeup/special effects materials. I have ordered from their online store several times and have had zero problems. Their instructional videos on YouTube are the best I have ever come across, they are definitely worth watching. So in accordance with the prophecy I will continue to buy my mold making supplies from them.

Customer service- Not so great. Called and the guy seemed annoyed by every single question I asked. His answer to everything was just buy some and see. As for the product, Ive been using resins for years. I wanted to try some new stuff so I got some of their easy flow 60. Very below average resin. The shore hardness is not 65D. Its much softer and far more floppy than other 65D resins out there. It also traps WAY more air bubbles than other resins with the same viscosity. Its definitely not worth the price they charge thats for sure, and it is most definitely inferior to other resins out there with the same price tag. To sum it up it seems like a generic poor mans resin but with the same price tag of the high end stuff. Add that with the poor customer service and I dont think Ill be shopping here again.

Mitch was wonderful! As one of the owners he was patient and attentive to my questions. They had exactly what I needed, and they even have some of the other products that I will be needed in the future. I am excited to of found this place after relocating from Atlanta GA.

This is a good supply store, although very overpriced. The staff is very rude, disinterested and condescending. If you decide to go to this supplier, be sure to know exactly what you need because they are not interested in helping. Most of the staff will ignore you or will seem extremely annoyed to help you. Even the owner shows a districting lack of interest in his customers and their questions. There is no where to go with complaints so be sure to get ready for some of the worst service available in Dallas and to spend by the hundreds in supplies.

Best customer service of any supply store around. We have been ordering from BITY for years and have always had a great experience, until recently we needed an order filled immediately and they went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed, even working after hours to do so. Couldnt be more appreciative for their devotion to customers and the valuable information that they share at no extra cost.

Knowledgeable, courteous staff with everything you’d ever want to supply your mold making/moulage needs. Such a wide variety and still yet they continue to add newer products to their shelves. Great all-around store for my business. Amazing product quality, and in-depth instructional videos can be found pertaining to all of their flagship products on their YouTube channel. I’ve had to call them at the store to answer my complex questions related to product usage; they are always happy to educate me regardless of how much of their time I take up. They’ve even called me back to answer questions. Customer service here is second to none!

This is a fantastic place! I was quite a difficult customer needing materials in two days. They were very accommodating, even when I wanted to add to the already completed order. I got my materials in amazing time, plus with a great tracking number to ease my stress. I am also using their tutorial on my new silicone mask. Fantastic service and unmatched product knowledge!! Mitch and his crew know more about mold-making than anyone in the industry coast-to-coast. I have worked with shops across the country and never received this level of expertise anywhere else with the exception of Sculpture Houses mold guys in New York (oh, and American Bronze in Florida). They KNOW their product. They KNOW their methods because they use them all the time-- true professionals in the field.

I ordered a kit of silicon and it didnt have the tin thix in my order,I called and after one phone call they sent me it free of charge in less then a week! There customer service was really helpful and got me what I needed fast.This is an amazing company, will definitely be ordering all my silicon from them!

*UPDATE* (After testing all of the Bity alcohol pallet we discovered that the blue pigment is the ONLY colour that is not good. It seems it’s very grainy compared to the other Bity colours And was probably a mixing issue with that specific batch. We stress that BITY is a most EXCELLENT place to get your SFX tools and supplies.) Posted the same review on Facebook. Not impressed with these brick in the yard “alcohol palettes”. (Trauma pallet *the blue pigment only) The pigment is not quality as you can see from the pictures. The blue is the only colour used on this project, the rest was Skin Illustrator and those colours were FANTASTIC!!! The blue in the Bity palette bleed through latex like crazy and the quality of the Skin Illustrator Palettes do not. A tech of ours called bity and they don’t seem to think their alcohol palettes are not an issue. We beg to differ in regards to the Blue in the trams palette. Just look at these photos of this ruined project. Usually I’d give BITY a 5 star review. 4 STARS. Not impressed in the slightest with the blue, but at this point it is what it is. I just called this store with about $500 worth of product in my online shopping cart. I was ready to switch from my existing supplier which is a 30 minute ride from my house to buy products from their store in Texas. The reason i wanted to make the switch was because PolyTech couldnt be bothered to explain their product to me before I buy.So I call BITY hoping to get some of the in depth explanation they put on the internet, but specific to my application. Once I informed them that I had purchased goods from the supplier and before I could even get out that I was ready to buy from them instead, the conversation went something like well you should talk to them, we are busy with our customers They guy literally turned me away without question.Hmm. Seems like a nice way to go after new business, doesnt it guys? But you must do so much in business that you feel inclined to talk to new customers that way.Stay clear.

My wife and I went in yesterday based on the reviews. We only wanted one item. There were two employees in the store. One guy refused to make any eye contact and was definitely not interested in helping us. The other fellow chatted with another customer for over 10 minutes while my wife and I waited. We had heard about bad hail that day so we used Uber to go and leave. After we had been at the store a few minutes waiting I checked Uber and the nearest ride was 11 minutes away. I showed my wife and she nodded to order the ride. Surely we would be done in 11 minutes. Well, no, this guy just kept right on chatting with the other customer until Uber arrived and we left. The guy seemed surprised we were leaving and gave us a brochure on the way out--which we left in the Uber. Came home and ordered what we needed from Amazon.You never really know about reviews. Sometimes when a place only has a few and they are all five stars the reviews are all from close friends and relatives.If you go to this place bring your own folding chairs. You will need them.
