There is one employee specifically, an older white lady, who has been consistently rude to me every-time Ive ordered here. Heres an idea, if you have your job so much...then quit. Dont take your anger and frustration on literal college students. Embarrassing that yall employ people like this.

Staff have not been the kindest, and its pretty obvious they are understaffed some times. They are very short with people, and if you dont know how to order or are new to the shop youre going to fumble. On my second visit I ordered just a bagel with cream cheese and as I watched I saw people coming in ordering, and leaving with their items, even though I ordered first. I waited for a long time, thinking they were just getting something specific, but after about 20 minutes I went up and asked for my order, and the bagel was right in front of the worker, and she just grabbed it from the rack and filled it and handed it to me. It was literally just sitting there. By the time I got it it was basically rock solid since it was sitting outside the toaster for that whole time. I love bagels but its not the best experience coming here.

Staff are consistently rude here and it just ruins your whole meal in itself. They won’t fix and mistakes they make themselves on the rare chances they do, they make rude facial expressions. I completely understand that it can get very packed and hectic, but I didn’t expect the staff to be that off-putting.

I’ve been here multiple times as I am a student at UTD. The first time I went, the coffee was very cold, all the coffee was cold. I didn’t think much of it because I thought it was a one time thing. I’ve been here two other times where each time the dark coffee is completely out. I’ve been here different times of the day from 8am-11am, each time there’s an issue with the coffee. I let the cashier know: “just wanted to let y’all know, you’re out of fireside”. They tell me it’s going to “take a while”, which isn’t a satisfying response considering the fact that if I’m going to pay $2.15 for a cup of coffee, I except a cup of coffee to exist. I understand that they’re busy, but there isn’t an excuse for a whole canister of coffee to be completely empty. It takes a while to bring it down that much.Besides the coffee issue, I’ve bought food from here which is up to standards and place is pretty clean and well kept. Periodically they run out of napkins. The main issue is lack of maintenance of the coffee bar hence lack of napkins and coffee. I’m assuming that this may be the case because no one specific employee is dedicated to that, so they all sit around until someone does it.

Freshman year I came here every day. The staff lets you get pretty much anything with meal exchange. Now that I have my own kitchen I don’t come here as much, but I still come whenever I need a good place to work and enjoy a bagel at the same time. I recommend not coming when it’s super busy because the line can get really long. If you get there just before the :50 minute mark of the hour there will likely not be many people there.

Staff is very friendly. Coffee selection is nice. The food was okay. I would give 5 stars but I ended up not eating the chicken on my sandwich because it had so much gristle. Otherwise it was good after taking it off. This could have just been a personal experience.

Too quick. The people there didn’t seem to have any experience and kept on asking the manager for help. They messed up my order. In stead of an egg tater sandwich, they gave me a crispy chicken sandwich. I would have appreciated if they reviewed my order.

There is something about waiting 10 minutes in a line of 4 people for a clinically depressed person to take your order. All of the coffee aside from decaf was empty. Could not have been a worse experience. Why do they have only one employee behind the counter? Its a University. People are trying to get to class. Never returning.

I love Einstein Bros. Their bagels are great and the pricing is good. Their nova lox is great. And being a coffee lover it is a lot for me to say that they have some of the best coffee Ive tried. 👌

Casual and cozy breakfast store. Their items are diverse and customers can pay with their CometCard if they are a student of UT Dallas. Fast service, and fresh food makes this a boon to all of those who are struggling to wake up without coffee!

They have the worst pick up system out of all the restaurants at UTD. Whenever they make your order they just yell out what you ordered, and anyone that ordered the same thing can just take it. There are better systems of giving out orders. The Pub at UTD calls out your order number so that no one else can take your food, and Papa Johns calls out your name. This place is really inefficient, which sucks because it has decent food, but if someone decides to take your order then you just have to wait for them to make another one and youll probably be late to your class. There are also barely any workers so it takes forever to get your food. Its obvious most of then dont want to be there, because theyre always grouchy.EDIT: They seemed to have fixed the system. It works much better now. They actually call your name so no one else can take your order.EDIT#2: They didnt really fix it. They sometimes say your name, but other times theyll just say the order. It still causes confusion and is inefficient.

Pretty solid, especially for UTD students. Food is good and waits are rarely long. Staff could be friendlier but isnt mean. They never mess up an order, and their coffee is probably the best on campus. Best breakfast spot at UTD imo

Staff are never nice here, today I went and they truly were the worst Ive seen them. I asked the lady behind the counter who was calling out orders, what she just called because it wasnt said clearly. She responded with I said its coming and then rudely told me what she just called out. I really dont understand why the staff never changes here. Theyre slow, rude, and never seem to care. The only employee Ive seen not be like this is the really tall guy that was here today.edit: still sitting here, and watching the same lady yell out the same orders over and over again with no time for anyone to react, all while getting more and more annoyed, rolling her eyes and getting louder

Its okay, other locations have better customer service. The guy was really slow. He took everyones order in the line (5-6 orders), then made all the orders, and then cashed everyone out. So, basically everyones order was cold by the time they got it because he left all the finished bagels on the counter while doing all the other orders in the line. Very strange.

I promise I am not exaggerating when I say every single time I have come in here and ordered anything, they forget my order. Every single time. I stand there and wait 10, 15, 20 minutes every time only to go up and tell them Im still waiting and get my order 5 minutes after that. Waiting 25 minutes for my 30 second hot chocolate is never worth it.

For Best bagels you gotta visit this place. Love the sesame bagel😋

Often busy, staff is okay. Charges for refills. Good place to study - nice chairs if you can find a spot. Food is pretty good.

The service is always so slow and usually one person is trying to handle everything.. One particular incident I had in this place around 3 months ago, after waiting for 20 min in the line and asked for a coffee, the cashier mistakenly charged me for $5 and before I could object, she went on and placed the order on my student card. When I pointed out the error she’s just made, instead of reimbursing, she did an additional charge on my card this time for the coffee’s price! For the last 3 months, I am still waiting for my refund for $5. I visited the shop thrice, talked to the manager and the dining services manager at UTD but no luck! The only answer I got from UTD dining office is that they are still waiting for chartwells’ accountant to find the receipt since the incident was a while ago, even though I immediately started the process! I don’t care about the 5 bucks I know that I will not get back however the attitude during this process was merely rude and focused on stalling instead of resolving the issue. It has been a terrible experience so far and I wouldn’t suggest going Einstein Bros Bagels on UTD campus even just for a coffee!

Good bagels. Hot coffee. Quick service when the line is short. Can be quite popular with the students.

I did give this place 3 stars but honestly it doesnt even deserve that. Most of the time I go in there the wait time is 30 minutes or even more. People just standing around while one person makes the food. I know I cant go here if Im in a hurry. Today I waited 35 minutes for a Turkey sandwich (which I didnt even want, they were just out of chicken and tuna salad) and I ended up having to leave without a sandwich because I was going to miss the bus. But hey, thats probably my fault for assuming you can make a sandwich in under half an hour.

2 of the staff here were rude and they had attitude. Bagels are so different than actual Einstein bagels, (texture /flavor of the bagels ) .They need to learn how to make real Einstein bagels and learn how to talk to the customer.

The bagels are amazing and they taste like any other Einstein Bros Bagels, but the 2 workers who are there everyday are unbelievably rude. They make the experience extremely unpleasant

You always wait so long for your order. Sometimes 20 minutes. Orders are often wrong and staff shows little knowledge at what they are doing.
