One-of-kind boba shop with exceptional customer service. Has multiple specialty flavors you wont find anywhere else. The lavender flavor is amazing, so much so that my partner and I had to have it again when visiting Dallas. They also have all kinds of popping boba, which you dont see very often. Pricing is very good.It would be a place Id be a regular at if I lived near, but Ill get it every time I come to visit the area.

Liked their Taro, but process of getting my order was a little awkward. My order was pretty straight forward - one large and 2 medium, but split that one large to 2 small cups so my two lil ones could share. Maybe that cashier got confuse with bubble or without bubble request, and she eventually got me 1 large cup and 2 small cups, I corrected her, then she recharged me and made me 2 medium cups on top of what she brought me. I had to explained again, so they refunded all my money and gave all orders to me for free. I wasnt there to screw their business or for getting a free order, I can see one of the cashiers is pretty frustrated, I offered to pay for whatever I ordered, but they insist to give me for free, guess they deserve 5 stars as they kept their courtesy and work ethic.

Amazing boba, friendly staff and the best drinks in texas!! I love their drink specials and their macarons! The birthday cake macarons are my favorite. Picking a favorite drink on the menu is like asking a mother to pick a favorite child. Too hard! The lavender is their top seller, once you try it, you totally see why its #1 there. The German cake frappe is addictively delicious and they have the best taro I have ever had! If you havent been to smiley cup tea you are missing out! Their Instagram is a good way to get a look at their menu if its a first time. Lots of great pictures and fun videos. They even posted about their covid19 saftey procedures to let everyone know what they are doing to keep us and their staff safe while we get boba. I cant recommend this place enough! Smiley cup cant be beat when it comes to service with a smile and quality drinks. They really do put the smile in smiley cup.😁 Please do yourself a favor and go to smiley cup, you wont be disappointed.

Crew here are nothing short from AMAZING!! They are always nice and courteous! And make the most incredible smoothies and teas! I live quite far away but will try my hardest to make it in at least twice a week. Absolutely worth the trip! I would give more stars, but 5 is the limit.

Extremely friendly staff that made wonderful recommendations of whats popular and suggested drinks that we may be interested. They have quite a large selection and combinations of mixtures. There are board games, a mini table football and a lounge so you can just sit, relax or read/work. Its easy to get to from Renner with lots of parking spaces. The drinks were made exactly how we ordered. You can lower your sugar intake, ice or no ice etc. Definitely will be coming back.

Great little bubble tea place right off of Renner and North star road in Richardson! I normally get the Thai tea or the Classic black tea with normal black boba, both of them are excellent! They accept requests also, if you dont want sugar or if you want almond milk instead they will do that for you! I like this place and go there often and I would say that they are consistently nice and the drinks are of the highest quality, 5 stars!

Very clean establishment with delicious dairy free milk teas! (They also have almond milk if you prefer). As a plant-based eater, Im so happy that more places are offering options for us. This lavender milk tea (one of their customer favorites as their sweet barista mentioned) is DELICIOUS. Omg! I will be back soon and often!!!

Great place for real Vietnamese coffee. Get the drip Vietnamese coffee for the authentic taste. Also a great place to just sit and work. Good alternative to the Starbucks across the street.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating! I always pass by whenever my son has a dental appointment so I went in for a try an it did not disappoint. I ordered Thai tea and it tasted amazing. Will be coming back again 😄

This is my favorite Boba Tea place. The customer experience is lovely, friendly and straightforward. They do Taro Milk Tea really well. Its my favorite to date. Myself and my friends love all their drinks.Theyve always been able to have my order ready to go, when I order ahead and my drinks have always been perfectly made.Theyve got a personal touch that only a true local business can have and I love them for it.

This is my new favorite boba shop. This lovely mom and pop shop has everything.Huge selection of teas/slushes/smoothies? ✅Unique toppings? ✅Helpful staff? ✅Cute, handmade amigurumi? ✅There are teas and toppings here that I havent seen anywhere else. The drinks arent crazy sweet like everywhere else. I love that I can order something without changing the sweetness level and know Im not gonna get something drowned in syrup. The owners and staff are so sweet and helpful with recommendations. I visit this shop almost everyday I have off because I know that Ill be greeted by a friendly face and enjoy a boba tea that makes me smile. This shop just really makes my day so much better. I totally recommend grapefruit tea with popping pomegranate boba or rose tea with lychee jelly! The popping rose boba is also choice. I have too many favorites to recommend! ❤️

I absolutely LOVE this place! It is my fiancé & Is new favorite boba spot. I am pretty picky when it comes to Thai tea, but Smiley Cup hands down has the best Thai tea that Ive ever tried. Stopped in on a boba craving and was met with a line ahead of me in their final hour before close. The staff continued to work quickly and even offered an extra drink they made! Very organized socially distanced stickers to wait for your drink, or the option to wait in your car. Taro slush slaps and you need to come by.

I love their Milk Tea w/ boba, AMAZING!

We walked in and it was just me and my girlfriend, we ordered lavender milk tea with no toppings and a Jasmine milk tea with Boba and mango jelly toppings. She mixed up our order and instead of making fresh drinks she just poured them into a different cup and toped it off wit tea. So now my Jasmine has no ice or sweetness and my friends lavender still taste like Jasmine but watered down with ice.I am not happy and will not be going back!

Seriously. I dont know if it was because it was near closing time or what, but this has to be one of the worst boba drinks Ive ever had. Doesnt even taste like milk tea or lavender... very watered down and the boba itself is subpar. Drink menu is pretty limited in itself. I hope this was just an off-day for them.

Especially the lavender milk tea... we live in Chicago and were visiting family in Dallas and this was so close to my sisters place ..other than the deliciousness of the teas, my kids and I fell in love with this cute place with purple butterfly decals ... so missing it now!!The lady is so sweet..!since we went back to back a few times in just a few days she also gave us an extra free drink . I asked her if they have other branches and she said No .I told her they should open in Chicago... lolllooking forward to my next visit to Dallas !By the way ..this is my first ever review online !!!!

Super friendly employees and some of the best Thai milk bubble tea Ive had outside of Thailand. A group of us sat inside playing Disneys What Do You Meme for a good hour.

Great selection of teas, coffee, and specialty drinks. Everything I have had from here, probably 20 or so different items, has been amazing and of the highest quality.

This place is awesome. Hibiscus tea is my favorite, but they have great Vietnamese coffee and other drinks too. Its a cool location with comfortable seating area. They are really cool people too and involved in the community. Lots of smiles.

Its a great place to chill with friends. A great plus is that they have dairy alternatives so if youre lactose intolerant its all good. They have great drinks and a good variety of games to play with friends like jumbo connect 4 and uno.

This place is so cute! Clean and cozy with free WiFi and games for adults and kids. We got smoothies, coffee, and cake! All were excellent. This is a much needed addition to this area!

My number one bubble tea shop! Quality is always on point and everyone is very friendly! The specials are fun and always tasty but I would suggest trying from the regular menu the rose milk tea or the taro milk tea with lychee jelly.

The Smiley Cup on Renner road is fantastic. Smoothies are fresh and so good this summer. Been there several times.

Its not just about the drinks (I had the Strawberry Pina Colada which was great), its a really great atmosphere. Equally enjoyable for relaxing for 4 yr old, 14 yr olds and 40 yr olds. I took my 7 yr old and we shared a large smoothie and played tic tac toe and 4 in a row. He beat me at both. There were a couple other parent-kid combos and a couple ladies with laptops. Altogether it was really pleasant.

Recently moved to Garland Richardson area and now have my new favorite place to go. The Taro Milk tea with Boba and the Macha Tea with boba are amazing and The owner makes hand made baby Yodas and I just had to have one for my fiance and We love it. They are so welcoming and wonderful will definitely visit again and again!!!!!

Awesome customer service! The employees are funny and friendly. Main complaint is that the milk tea wasn’t properly mixed so it felt like drinking thick powder paste, and I could see the powder sticking to the sides of the cup. Also, the tapioca pearls were not properly cooked so I had to spit out a few of them while drinking. I really liked the atmosphere and would’ve definitely come back, but I don’t think my money is worth uncooked food :(

The boba pearls can be chewy and the drink can taste watered down but the manager and people are incredibly sweet. Wonderful service :) They are very open to comments and critiques about their drinks to improve! The manager told me to tell her what i thought of my order and she respected it and took it into consideration :) Dont be discouraged to go.

They dont label their drinks, which was kind of annoying because I had 2 milk teas and I couldnt tell which one is which, and it really confused me because often times boba shops would make sure to label their drinks. The people are friendly though, but other than that Im hoping the next time I go there it wont be that bad.Update: The jasmine milk tea was horribly watered down and barely tasted like milk tea at all.

Driving down Renner one day a couple of months ago, my son and I saw the cute sign for Smiley Cup at the same time. Wed never heard of them and had to stop. Im writing this because I want you all to know that this is the best place to stop for drinks. Teas, Vietnamese coffee, smoothies, slushies, and more!! The drinks are made fresh with real fruit and fresh ingredients. I ordered a watermelon slushie and asked if there was any food dye in the drink (my kiddo cant have dyes) and she looked at me funny because the ingredients are real watermelon and ice! Everything is real food and so, so fresh! Weve had the coffee, coconut smoothie, watermelon slushie, lavender tea, and banana smoothie. Every single one has been our favorite - its so hard to chose each time because everything is so good.What is extra neat is that each drink is completely sealed after they make it. Sometimes I get an extra drink to have the next day. I stick it in the fridge and have it the next day and it is still so fresh and yummy! The atmosphere is wonderful with comfy chairs, games, and SoundCloud lightly playing. The owner and the staff are the best part about this place. They are always so warm and welcoming! It feels like you are visiting your friend because they treat everyone as a friend, not just a customer. You will not be disappointed here, it has become our favorite place!

The first time I came, it was around 11:15 and we came in and after we ordered they told us they had no boba and said we had to wait 20 minutes for the boba to be ready. The second time I came, it was around 1 or 2 and we went there but they still didnt have boba ready even though it was in the middle of the day.. The reason we gave them 3 stars was because they had no boba and the place is a boba place.....? But the service was quick and the workers were so nice. I just wish that If it is considered a place that never has boba, then it shouldnt be what they are know for. Definitely come back to see if they have Boba for once. I do you enjoy the milk tea but I think I would enjoy it better if they had Boba.

Smiley cup is a boba tea place that has an extensive list of flavors that you can enjoy. They offer smoothies, slushies, and teas with an assortment of boba and jellies. They offer special drinks each month that are very delicious! The honeydew smoothie is yummy and the lavender milk tea is one of my favorites! The place is beautifully decorated inside with twinkle lights and butterflies. Itbhas a warm ambience and different kinds of seating to choose from. They offer games to play with while you enjoy your beverages!

This is my go to spot for good old fashioned, no-frills, straight up bubble milk tea. Ive been to almost every single boba spot in the Richardson area, so Im something of a connoisseur. This place doesnt have a lot of the fancy fillers or flavors that other places do, tbh its pretty basic. But what they do have is a clean, quiet location with superior customer service. They will let you sample your drink several times so you can make sure it tastes exactly right, and they will adjust the sweetness, ice level, etc so its exactly where you need it to be. When I really gotta have that milk foam Earl Grey with two layers of rainbow and grass jelly or whatever, I wont find it here. But when Im needing a perfectly tasting Jasmine milk tea with boba, Ill pick Smiley Cup over anyplace else in the area because they are super friendly, clean, attentive, and fast.

Densely packed when we arrived a little after midnight. Naturally, it took about 20 mins to place our order. By then they had run out of regular boba!One of the orders was wrongly prepared but remedied without any refrain. The emphasis on syrupy flavors rather than natural fruits was disappointing. Ditto for the absence of invigorating powders on the short menu. There was a printed offer to customize the orders to our taste but when the key ingredients are missing the options fall flat.In short, other than business hours no desirable reason to visit again.

The staff is friendly and helps you choose an item from the menu if you don’t know what to get. I have only had the mango smoothie and slushie and my recommendation would be is to get the slushie with popping mango boba because it is packed with flavor. The mango smoothie was very bland and did not taste that good. Overall it is a good place to try if you are in the Richardson area.
